Apparently, this company just approves PPP loans without identifying the company or individual. My identity was stolen and a loan obtained fraudulently. Now this company refuses to provide me with a copy of the loan documents; although I have complied with all of their request. I have informed the ************************* and really hopeful for a resolution.Initial Complaint

Dear Customer,
Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. At Prestamos, we take customer satisfaction very seriously and are committed to addressing issues as promptly as possible.
Although you were approved for a Paycheck Protection Program loan, your bank, ***********, froze and seized your funds after disbursement. Please understand that Prestamos only funded the loan, while Blue Acorn processed the loan. Prestamos does not have possession or control of the funds that *********** has seized. We understand how frustrating this has been, however, the ***'s closure of the *** program limits our ability to disburse additional funds. We also note that our records have your signature on Form 3508S (the SBA's forgiveness application).
Thank you for your understanding, and we remain available to support you.Thank You,

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. At Prestamos, we take customer satisfaction very seriously and are committed to addressing issues as promptly as possible.
You were approved for a ***************************** Paycheck Protection Program (***) loan, however, your bank returned a portion of your loan funds after the *** requested additional documentation. As you may know, Prestamos only funded the loan, while Prestamos' *** approved ************** Provider (Blue Acorn) processed the loan. Despite Prestamos' personal efforts to resolve the situation with you directlyiincluding email requests for the additional documentation *** requestedyou have failed to provide the requested documentation. Among the documents requested from you are: a copy of a valid government issued photo ID, a bank statement dated between October 2019 & March of 2020 showing business transactions, full filed and signed 2019/2020 Tax Returns, business Registration or some type of proof of business validity, a copy of your SS card, and a selfie holding both the SS card and a valid photo ID. These documents were requested by the *** to validate both your identity and the accuracy of the loan.
We understand how frustrating this has been for you and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. While the ***'s closure of the *** program limits our ability to disburse additional funds, we are committed to providing any necessary documentation to the ***, or further clarification to assist in resolving this issue.

August 2022 demanding payment during the Pandemic. This is an CA SBA 7A loan and during covid my business was shut down.I paid zero dollars as I was not supposed as the loan potentially was forgiven. They have not provided me any information other than a generic bill.I'm disputing that I owe them anything as they purchased the loan from a company that went bankrupt, They have never gave me any information, contacted me, breakdown etc. I have not had any contact with any members of this company , although I have tried to speak with someone many times.Business Response

The business ignored all my attempts to process PPP loan forgiveness and reported my loan to credit bureau. The business does not answer phone calls, return messages or respond to emails. The company has ignored all my requests to process loan forgiveness for 2 years. I would like the business to process my loan forgiveness and remove the negative report from my credit.Business Response

The business is saying that it's too busy to respond to the BBB. This is the same response I got when I initiated the process for PPP loan forgiveness. The business did not respond to my PPP loan forgiveness request and reported my loan as delinquent. The US government authorized PPP loan forgiveness and the business is not complying the regulations resulting in negative reports on my credit.Initial Complaint

I applied for a PPP loan during COVID and recently received a demand letter to pay back my funds. The whole time during the loan forgiveness program they had my social security wrong and months, and months went by with no response to the emails i sent in regards to them changing my social security number so i could apply for forgiveness was ignored, almost to the fact that it was intentional so they could charge me interest. On the statement I received on 2/1/2023 it goes all the way back to 10/2022 asking for payment, but the email i received on 2/1/2023 was the first and only email i have received from them in regards to anything about my loan and payments due. Nothing on how to set a payment plan up or anything and now i have received a demand in full for my loan but No information on how to pay the loan back and they are charging interest as well. i have called daily and emailed them daily and have received no response.Business Response

I am a small minority business that received a PPP loan from Prestamos via Blue Acorn. I contact the lender in November 2022 regarding my loan forgiveness status. I applied for PPP loan forgiveness within the time period (11/21). Later to start receiving message about payment. I contact Prestamos and actually talked to a representative and was told that my application was on hold with an issue with my NAICS, I submitted the requested documents on several occasions, because I am receiving emails that the required documents have not been received. I began sending the emails with return receipts and they have not been open/read. I began receiving emails that my loan was and would go into default causing my business not to get future loans via the *** if I did not start making payments by 3/1/23. Because I am I small business I can not jeopardize a bad credit rating, so I setup a payment plan, which of course they received that information. I research and noticed that I am not the only business dealing with this issue. We are small business still struggling and trying to make ends meet and keep out doors open. We can not afford to pay a loan that we expected not to have to repay. I feel that Prestamos is trying to scam us small businesses and not forgive our loans for some reason or another. Ive tried to contact Prestamos on the customer service number ************ and NEVER get a representative. Instead my call goes to voicemail; saying leave a message in the general mailbox, which I NEVER get a callback. This has become my daily routine several times a day during the weeks. I have a business to run and shouldnt have to go through this, when my loan shouldve been forgiven. PLEASE HELP!!!Business Response

I am supposed to repay a ppp loan. I thought Prestomas would contact me with repayment details but the only contact from this company was a nasty demand email on 2/28/23. I have called and called and left messages but am unable to speak to anyone. Do they have an office or employees? This is not the way to do business. I was never notified when to start making payments or where to make payments. All I know is that I have 5 years to repay.Business Response

On February 27, 202, I received a demand letter that my PPP Loan will go in default on 3-6-2023. My loan started with blue acorn and now is with prestomas. I was told in an email that I had the wrong loan number and to refer back the *** for assistance. I have tried to contact prestomas to get this issue resolved. I have made numerous attemps to reach a representative. I followed the guidelines on applying for the ppp forgiveness. Per *** my loan forgiveness was approved then denied. I have all documents that my ppp forgiveness loan was approved. No one is giving me an explanation as too why it was denied. I didn't receive any communication informing me my loan was one or two months pass due, until two weeks ago. Nor any physical mail that my loan was passed due. I have only received two emails from this company. I have placed numerous of and and emails to no prevail. Also im not able to apply for ppp forgiveness threw the *** portal and I'm not sure if prestomas is the reason for the holdup. As per the *** I applied for the appeal process with the *** and waiting on a repose. Please assist..Business Response
