1 starI have three leaks in my roof. My house is only 4 years old my windows have leaked since day one. I have reached out to cavco on several occasions. They've sent someone and now I have even worse leak. I was told by 3 roofers it's manufacturing issues and cavcos workers swear up and down it's not. They need to be stopped! They can't continue doing people like this.Review fromJennifer B

1 starCavco and *********** are absolutely horrible. Biggest mistake I have ever made. 3 months of mortgage payments and have yet to live in our home. We have no hot water in our kitchen sink, outlet in 2nd bath does not work, the flooring is uneven, the list just goes on and on. Not to mention it is beyond difficult to get a hold of someone. All our issues are undermined. I am only selecting one star because I have too other than that it would be zero stars.Review fromRon S

1 starWe purchased a Destiny home from ******** Homes. At this point, Im not sure who's worse. Normandy lied and basically just dropped off the home. Cavco (Destiny) wont warranty anything and fixes are half-ass when they do. AVOID ANY of the brands they list on their website. Have tried contacting them multiple times, even emailing the ENTIRE board of directors. Nothing. They sell an inferior product and dont care about the customer.Review fromchristine B

1 starI purchased a CAVCO home in 07/2011. Just after the one year warranty ran out handles broke off of the faucets made from plastic. Mirrors are falling off of walls in master bath. There were no baseboards so bugs come in under walls. Trim around front doorway has come lose and there is none on one whole side because it broke and there is no boards to attach it to. Just holes where you can see daylight. Floor in kitchen next to an AC vent is rotting and falling in. Trim throughout house has come loose because of no studs to keep it nailed on. Second bathroom towel holder was not mounted to a stud and has fallen out of the wall and there are two holes where it used to be, it also broke when hit the floor because it was made of plastic. You cannot hang pictures because you cannot find studs to nail them to. The Plug outlet in the Laundry room where you could put a freezer was never in the wall it was hanging supposed to be fixed during the 1 year warranty stage. Was not fixed just shoved into wall to look fixed. I cannot use it. There are three drawers in kitchen and three drawers in master bathroom. Only one drawer can be used because the drawer slides are plastic and broke. A cabinet door in the kitchen broke in half one half is still connected to cabinet other is up against cabinet not connected. The fire detectors have all broken and fallen down which made them stay beeping all the time we had to take the batteries out of all of them to stop it. I do not know how this home passed inspection at the factory. If it had to pass inspection after being delivered I do not know how it passed then either. It is literally falling apart. I called CAVCO about their workmanship had to leave a message for someone to call me back and have never heard from them to this day. The rail for the sliding shower doors in the master bath is not connected which causes the door to fall off. Before you take a shower you have to make sure the rail is connected so the door doesn't fallReview fromJessica E

1 starAn awful experience. Sales team is uneducated on their product, sold items the manufacturer no longer supports; sales team incorrectly logged an order after up-selling and the manager will not take accountability nor apologize for it; cavco team as a whole has bad communication, or none at all; refusing to provide a schedule for punchlist, refusal to acknowledge the requested repairs, failure to provide a sales order showing where what money went to what, the list goes on. The quality of the high end (hardly) manufactured home I purchased is beyond poor in quality, Cavco and it's representatives have failed to be forthcoming, honest, timely or professional after the purchases was made. Do not recommend them to anyone, this has been devastating.Review fromSheryl C

5 starsI purchased/ordered this CAVCO home on 6/12/2020. It was delivered on 10/28/2020 and I moved in on 1/15/22. On 7/29/24 my grandson went to grab a cereal bowl & the whole cabinet fell down. This cabinet has all my glassware, so it came down crashing, glass everywhere, my grandson was screaming & holding the cabinet for dear life. He was barefooted & I was frantic that he was going to have glass all over his feet. I was appalled that the cabinet had ONE s**** to hold it up.I immediately took photos for proof. I sent an email to Best Buy Homes & to Cavco. ******* called from Cavco the following day. ******* called to apologize & was horrified that my grandson could have been seriously injured. She told me she was embarrassed that this happened in the warehouse. She scheduled a small crew to come to my home for 8/8/24. I was so very appreciative to *************** and another man, wish I knew his name, for repairing my cabinet so fast.I called ******* to shout out a big THANKS for attending to my needs!!! Of course I give all the praise to my Lord for sending ******* to the rescue.I am so very grateful that my grandson NEVER got any glass on his feet nor was he crushed by the cabinet full of glass bowls, vases etc.. He was definitely scared, but everything ended perfectly.Thank you CAVCO for not only taking ownership on your error, but correcting the issue!******* explained that CAVCO has implemented new procedures due to my error. I was glad to hear that my issue was used to help future CAVCO customers!Review fromLawrence N

1 starAbsolutely the WORST ######!!ing Scam home building manufacturer Company in the business. We purchased our Supposedly New Home(NOT) in 2023 with a list and multitude of Damages and Rrpairs Needed from day one when they placed it on our Pad. The list is Absolutely ridiculously to Big to list here but, the pictures and documentation of repairs needed is Documented and Cavco DON'T CARE and DON'T RESPOND to any Complaints or Service Calls or Requests. 10 and Half months and they DON'T Respond to Multitude of Calls and Complaints. The State of Texas Does NOTHING about it or them either know matter how much you complain It falls on DEAF Ears!. Now barely 12 months old the Windows and Roof is Leaking! Over $160,000 Thousand Plus Spent on our home and is a Freaking NIGHTMARE P.O.S. For your own good BUYER'S BEWARE OF THIS CORRUPT COMPANY AND THEIR SALES PEOPLE!!!!!Review fromWanda K

1 starHome came off assembly line in ******* on 5-20-22 but did not get placed by broker on to our lot until 11-25-23. This unit sat in the hot Phoenix sun for 2 *******. We were not aware that we purchased "a brand new Cavco home" which was actually 2 years old from Right Homes in ******* until we were in escrow and noted the age of the unit on the appraiser's report. Like most of the reviews noted for this non-accredited business, we too have had ongoing repair issues with Cavco. The biggest problem has been ongoing water intrusion at both front and utility doors. We have replaced door sweeps and molding twice. During our escrow we had a laminate floor installed throughout. Each time it rains the water comes in under the doors and gets the new flooring wet. We have replaced the thresholds twice. We go out of town and have to put towels at the doors to sop up the water during our absence. The Cavco technician said he adjusted the doors and our next step was to have storm doors installed. We did this at the out of pocket cost of $3,030.00. A recent rain storm on the 24th of June showed water intrusion again. Cavco technician showed up on June 25th and stated this time that he recommended awnings over each door to deflect the rain . Awning quote of $1,846.39 was recently obtained. After several emails to Cavco service department we finally got another name to escalate our complaint to. We sent a new email to the escalated contact at Cavco in ******* on 7-01-24 and copied the "usual" service department contacts once again, this time with photo back up of the water intrusion. We were advised that Cavco had no idea when they would return to complete our very lengthy punch list or to address the water intrusion claims. It is so sad that once the broker and Cavco have their money there does not seem to be much recourse but to wait. We are still within our warranty period and if we have no response to our requests we will have to contact HUD.Review fromLaWenda D
