This company charges for services not rendered. They show up when they want to and not at the convenience of their customer. They billed us for mosquito traps with out asking or receiving approval and they were never placed. Fraude billing practice. Stay away from this company. They repoted me to a collection agency for early termination when it was terminated due to Green Solutions violation of contract by fraudently billing for masquito traps that were never placed nor was permission given.Initial Complaint

I signed a contract for service, I gave the company my credit card number. They continue to charge me for the service but tell my that my name is not on the account or the credit card they charge, so I can not schedule the service I paid for.Initial Complaint

2/24/24 Sales rep ***** for Greenway approached my house, soliciting pest control service. offered a single service for a fee, or ongoing service. I agreed to a single time service, and ***** acknowledged this.- I have full video of this interaction. At 2min30sec rep hears me say interested in only one time service, acknowledged thats whats being provided. At 4 minutes 20 seconds rep is advising me not to talk to the service provider, and conceal that its only a one time service. At five minutes 10 seconds, the rep and i again are discussing that it is only to be a single time service and he is reassuring me that again it is only a single time service, and to just make sure to cancel within three days.At Nine minutes 45 seconds, the rep again is advising me to conceal from the service provider that its a one time service.2/26/24 Called Greenway, as receipts and documents provided claim i am locked to 24 months of service.Account rep claims they can only go by the signed documents, and that i signed up for 2 years of service and cannot cancel without steep penalty.Sent video to account manager as requested, and requested dissolution of any implied contract.Initial Complaint

I would like to file a complaint against Greenway Pest Solutions. I entered a contractual agreement in May of 2022 with this business in good faith that they would provide services that would protect my family. The contract was for the duration of 24 months, but due to the constant presence of scorpions both inside and outside of my home I no longer wish to employ the services of this company. On multiple occasions, I directly informed the technicians on days of service about the scorpions and when that did not solve our problem we contacted a rep who assured us that further measures would be taken on the next service day. That did not resolve the problem. The last straw was when we found two scorpions near my kids play area inside our home this past December. When I notified the company that I was no longer interested in their services, they gave me the options of scheduling more treatment or to be charged a $300 early termination fee. Appalled at the lack of empathy, I informed them that I was not going to pay anymore fees because they failed to uphold their end of the bargain. To my surprise they charged the $300 that same night anyway without my consent or acknowledgement.Another issue I have with the company ********************. I was promised to have the ***** of my house treated, which was the main reason I switched to Greenway from a different company. On the day of our first treatment, the technician informed us that they could not treat the ***** because they do not have a ladder. When we received the report summarizing the services provided we were surprised to see them list the ***** as an area that was treated. This same thing appeared in 3 other reports. My dealings with Greenway have left me feeling as though I was scammed. If a business cannot provide the service advertised are they not in breach of the contract agreement? Having a scorpion problem is bad enough, but putting the safety of my children at risk is something I WILL NOT tolerate.Initial Complaint

I was sold a two year agreement unknowingly and not knowing there was a penalty for cancellation, as I was told by the salesman I could cancel anytime I wanted. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the quality of work they promised to deliver. They left a fly trap that was knocked over by the wind without refilling it. The salesman told me they would clean the window ***** and spider webs and that didn't happen. I am trying to cancel my two year agreement with them that I wasn't told about because the salesman didn't go over the fine print as the salesman just quickly read over what they offered on promotions if I signed today. He just had me sign here to get started. They are trying to collect over $400 to cancel and threatening to send me to collections. They are almost 3 times as expensive of my previous pest control service. This company is totally fraudulent.Initial Complaint

Charging me for work not performed, What I thought I was agreeing to was not the terms I received.I have here in my possession, An invoice for $340. When they serviced the neighborhood, they did not have time to service my house. I was having problems with flies, so they applied something to the stucco to **** off the flies and I paid them $19 for that. The problem started for me. When I received a bill for $59. They had not performed any services yet, so I called the office to find out what the bill was for. That is when I was told that the bill was $59 a month. I spoke to the Manager(owner?) and asked why I would be billed for discounts not received I should never have allowed the salesperson to pressure me and tell me You are switching over, but the cost savings were substantial, lowering my fees from $474 to $236 a year from the way the salesperson told me. I had asked directly how often they serviced accounts, and the term the $59 covered. I was told that the service and fees were quarterly. I would never have changed from the previous and existing service if there were not financial savings. What benefit was there for me? I increased cost by $234 a year, so clearly what I thought the agreement was not in sync with the charges they are asking for. Because of this experience, I will not change services again.Initial Complaint

No reflection upon the staff who have performed service at my property. This negative review is specifically aimed at a dishonest company that otherwise good employees work for. I signed up with Greenway to give them a chance. The first service was discounted, and I was told that if I cancelled my contract I would have to repay the discount. This is completely fair and I have no issue with this. HOWEVER, when I called to cancel my service contract due to lack of communication from the company and someone showing up when I specifically asked to reschedule an appointment and then having them try to come out again 2 weeks later, i was informed that they would NOT credit the monthly payments they had already taken from my account and I still owed them a full $300. Then I was told that they would credit ONE of my monthly payments, but not the other one. So they took money from my account for services they never provided. When I pointed this out, they're reasoning was that they tried to provide the service but me cancelling my contract did not allow them to provide it, so there was nothing further they could do.Initial Complaint

We originally signed up with a different pest control company, but then greenway pests came along. They told my wife all about being a smaller company with zero contracts because they didnt want to be like the bigger companies, come to find out that is a lie. They lock you into a contract for two years, longer than most other service providers. They dont provide adequate service; they barely even sprayed the whole house. To top it off, they have their employees ask you multiple times to leave them good reviews on ****** so they can win gift cards, standing there until you finish the review. Im all about supporting the so called small business, but this company is only in it to lock you into contracts and then canceling them when told not to. Out $450, dont want this happening to anyone else. Do not believe their ****** or Yelp reviews.Initial Complaint

A member of Greenway Pest solutions came to my door and offered a discounted deal to start pest service with them. I told them I couldn't afford it on my own and would ask the roommates if they wanted to contribute to the cost.they offered to discount my first treatment saying they were in the area and would be able to do it for $120 the following day. I told them I really couldn't afford it on my own and really needed to talk to my roommates. The guy told me it was okay and that I could cancel service in the event the roommates couldn't contribute to help cover the costs.I paid them 120 for the initial service and they made me sign an agreement for two years at $65 a month. Thinking I could cancel at any time I went ahead and talked to my 3 other roommates. After a month of service and requesting a general yard spray appointment via phone call, the company came out to drop ant bait in the back yard (not what I requested). The roommates agreed that the service they provided was not worth what we already paid. Upon calling to cancel, they said that there's a $300 cost to cancel the agreement. In the "fine print" the agreement charges for the $300 'discount' for the "initial treatment" that they apparently offered. This cost was never mentioned to me upon signing up and no, this is NOT "cancel anytime".This employee knew they were misleading me and this is a shady practice. I never got monetary assistance from my roommates and could not 'cancel anytime' as I was told. I'm already seriously in debt and can barely afford my bills as it is. This $300 charge really destroyed my chances at catching up on my monetary situation. I do not feel it was fair. I will never recommend this company to anyone if they ***************** fees like this and lie to my face at my front door just to get another sign up. Even if I get no reimbursement, I just need to share this experience and see if this is even legal.
