  I recently had the pleasure of working with Southwest Electric for the installation of solar panels on my home, and I couldn't be more impressed with the entire process. From start to finish, their team exhibited professionalism, expertise, and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction.First and foremost, the consultation phase was informative and transparent. The team took the time to thoroughly assess my home's energy needs and provided me with a detailed breakdown of the proposed solar system, including potential savings and ROI projections. They patiently addressed all my questions and concerns, ensuring I felt confident in my decision to go solar.The installation itself was executed flawlessly. The technicians were punctual, courteous, and highly skilled. They worked efficiently and with great attention to detail, leaving no mess behind.   I was approached by one of their salesman at my home and really didn't do any due diligence in researching solar prices. I signed up. Over the course of the next few weeks I started researching other solar companies and realized that Southwest Electric was way overcharging me for 8.2 KW system. The price was $32,000 financed with a monthly payment of $212 a month. After contacting at least three other solar companies Iocal to my area I received quotes of between ****** and ****** for the same exact system. Folks do your due diligence and do some research before signing up with this company. In my opinion they are way overcharging customers. I ended up having to pay a $1,500 cancellation fee with $100 discount based on leaving a good review.

  To address the concerns that ************************** had in his review; First, when choosing a loan, ask about options and fees associated with the loan, and how much they add in the end. Our $32,000 loan at 4% interest still comes out better than the $17,000 loan at 9% interest. Second, the monthly payment was $154.00. Thirdly, the salesman attempted to help the customer with the cancellation fee by offering him money for a good review, as ************************** told *********** that he was getting a divorce. We understand life changes, and sometimes customers need to cancel. We do offer a right of rescission in our contracts, and clearly state our cancellation policy. Unfortunately ************************** cancelled his project 6 days prior to installation, and the cancellation cost was assessed. Our cost is significantly higher than the cancellation fee, as the project is already allocated time in the pipeline and materials are already being ordered. Those materials cannot typically be allocated to other projects as the specifications are rarely an exact match. We have a limited amount of resources and only intake a certain number of projects to ensure that we are able to provide excellent service to each customer. Work begins immediately on our projects, as soon as your contract is signed, which is why they are completed in a timely manner. I hope the above helps you understand why we have a cancellation fee; Even at $1500.00, we are at a loss. By law, once the right of rescission period ends, the entire contract would legally be due.We understand that circumstances sometimes change, and that is why we allow a customer to cancel past the rescission period.

  Southwest Electric installed our solar panel system, we are very pleased with the whole process. They answered all our questions and were very professional. The process was quick and the installers were easy to work with. We are saving a lot of money with our new system.

  Southwest Electric installed our solar panel system and were very professional and helpful throughout the process. **** and **** communicated promptly with me and kept me updated throughout. They were patient and thorough in answering my questions. They were very flexible, helpful and professional in resolving the unexpected permitting issues.

  Southwest Electric is very difficult to work with. The entire process from the start until now has been nothing but a hassle. From not showing up to appointments to numerous unanswered phone calls, failing several inspections and my circuit breaker tripping all the time. Now that I have the solar panels installed my app won't work to monitor the system and now, they want more money to fix that problem and I have only had the solar for 8 months. They take week to months to call you back sometimes. Don't be fooled by all the five-star reviews. Do a little research and you will find there are a lot of reviews with my same complaints. Southwest electrical has the worst customer service and if you need to get ahold of them good luck.

  Southwest Electric installed our solar system. They were very professional during the entire installation process and I couldnt be more pleased with their work. Im glad we got solar through them, **** answered every question and helped us with any concerns we had! Its amazing to see how much we save on our electric bill especially during these hot long *******! I would definitely recommend Southwest Electric to anyone looking to get a solar by panel system.

  I was super happy with them but they don't respond to phone calls. My solar **** is about the same as it was previously without solar. Makes no sense at all!!
