From start to finish everything with this install went great. ****** was a great installer and was quick and efficient on the job. Did a great job with all the carpet we had installed. They came in ripped everything out and made this install seamless and easy for us. I debated whether or not to address this issue about Express Flooring. March was when I had laminate flooring installed in my home. The first day went well, but from that day onwards it was a total nightmare. Reached out to them for days to finish the installations, but no one ever responded to my or my husband's calls. So I read a lot of complaints from other customers. So I wasn't having it with them, so I filed a complaint with **** Eventually, we began receiving calls from them. We were told that they were instructed not to answer our calls. And the only way they would respond would be if we filed a complaint with the **** If anyone thinking about having work done by Express flooring, just wanted you to be aware of these things. And make sure the sales agent explain to you every detail of the installation. And before you sign your contract, make sure it's the same thing you agreed on with the sales agent. Here's the link to the *** if anyone having problems with them. I'm a witness that the *** does not play. You will get a quick response. Total Bait and Switch tactics used for the flooring. I called them and they came out to provide a quote with a Sales Man named P*** W***. The salesman provided some samples and a quote, when I declined the initial cost of $4500 he made some phone calls and came back with a price of $3700, in which I agreed to. He mentioned that this price included New VCT Tile with Floor Barrier, removal of the old carpeting, remove furniture, remove and replace base boards, and floor prep. He also mentioned when completing the contract that there could be additional cost for cracks that offset the floor longer more than 1/8" of an inch. The contractor came and removed the furniture, removed the carpeting, base boards. Then the customer service rep calls and says I need to pay over an additional $1200 for floor prep, to remove the carpet glue, residual paint and to repair cracks from the removal of the tack strip (Previous Carpet), and If I do not pay the fee they will cease work, until the floor is properly prepped and still will not warranty the work. They explained to me the damage from removing the tac strip is typical and is always an extra cost. Why was this not included in the original contract pricing if it is typical repair? After complaining they agreed to lower the floor prep cost to $900. They leave me no options, other than to halt all work and find another company to complete the flooring (which was threatened by the contractor English speaking rep). I feel this was a planned tactic all along to get the price back now above the original cost of $4500. They provided me with no objective evidence that the floor damage was not caused by their removal tactics. Only holding me hostage to pay the extra fees, to have my house put back together. I would stay away from Express Flooring and not recommend using them to anyone or any future renovations. Stay Away.Express Flooring Response

Floor prep is not included in our standard service, as noted in our contract, and we are not responsible for issues with underlayment not installed by us or the condition of the floor beneath the existing covering. If additional repairs are needed, they are quoted accordingly.
In your case, extra floor prep was necessary to address carpet glue, residual paint, and the cracks. These repairs are typical to ensure the quality of the new flooring. We understand this can be unexpected and inconvenient, and we strive to communicate all potential costs upfront. To help, we lowered the floor prep cost to $900. They completed the flooring installation same day; however, my baseboards now sit lower and part of my wall is exposed. The salesman never explained that to me and now Im having to finish the job myself (caulking, painting and stripping right above baseboards). Also, I requested to purchase/obtain an extra box of flooring via phone/email and have yet to receive a response from customer service. They provide timely and responsive customer service when trying to sell you ********************, however, should you have any needs/problems upon installation you wont hear from them.Express Flooring Response

First let me say the installers have done an incredible job so far. I love the way it looks and it has been done well.Now what has been a disappoint is everything else. The salesperson changed the materials we were using many times since they didnt seem to know what all was actually available to use.Second they told me they would work Monday - Thursday and would work late if needed. They didnt start till Tuesday and still arent done the next weekend.I was told I would receive compensation when they started late, but havent gotten a word on that since.Now we have to wait on material to finish my stairs. It came in Thursday.I was told they would come Friday and finish. I called when they never showed up on Friday and told there was a misunderstanding and they will be here tomorrow (Saturday). Noon on Saturday I have called on if I am waiting around for nothing again and waiting to find out if they will show up or if its another no show.I am happy with the flooring but all the delays and no shows have cut in a lot to stuff I need to get done. Compensation like I was originally told would have been nice as well.Express Flooring Response

This company does a good job of sending someone to your home to sell their services. What they don't tell you is they will send unprofessionals to do the job. The lifetime installation warranty is not completely true. We had floors done throughout the house and within 3 years, the floors began to peel and crack. We contacted Express Flooring and initially tried to blame us. When I contacted the Director of Market Operations, someone was paid to come out and access the floors after 3 months of waiting. As a result, they chose not to fully honor the warranty. They wanted us to find commercial space to have the materials delivered, but we would have to pay for labor ourselves, even though it was determined that the floors were not installed properly. The salesman did his job by selling the product and preaching the customer service we will be getting through the process and the quality of work we will receive through the process. We were told things will be moved and placed back at end of day and everything will be plastic wrapped, and they will try and keep everything as clean as possible as they know people are living there and take care of any issues that *** occur fast.The exact opposite had happened. From day 1 the crew did not speak English one of them did a little bit they hung 1 sheet of plastic the entire house covered in concrete dust left my AC on with all doors open. All my expensive taxidermy covered, couches, bedrooms, beds, pool table, etc. my youngest has asthma had to keep him out of house due to when they were done nothing cleaned up and house left a mess, and the crew did not leave most nights till around 6-7 pm. I informed express since the 2nd day of the issues already occurring, and customer service could only relay message and states to me someone will be calling. I have dealt with the salesman, coordinator, quality control people and they reached out then ignore your phone calls and text messages and I keep calling the customer line and get told the same thing. Very unprofessional company I have all the documentation for everything and spent a lot of money to fix problems and got told I will be reimbursed (I Have in writing), and I will not stop here till I get this resolved. A simple matter is turning into a big one now this company needs to fix their internal issues and do what they supposably preach.I have a lot more to say but I just need someone in charge to reach out to me so we can get this addressedExpress Flooring Response
