I am having an issue with Republic Services ( the company I pay to collect my trash). They routinely miss my house. Sometimes they only empty one can of the two. Sometimes they just drive past my house. Today, they emptied everyone on the blocks trash but mine. Drove right by my house. I have contacted them and attempted to voice my complaint but no one calls me back. They say they will send someone out to get the trash that was missed, yet no one comes out. I cannot pick a different company because apparently, the county has a contract with them.Business response

I ordered a dumpster to be delivered on 7/28/21. I called to see when it was going to be here and they said they have until 5pm. I didn't receive the dumpster. 7/29/21 I asked the garbage man if he knew anything about it when he picked up our weekly trash. He called his boss and they said today or tomorrow. I called about 3:30 pm and all I got was the run around. They then tell me it will be delivered on 7/30/21. I paid $673 for this dumpster and it still isn't here as of 9:15 am 7/30/21. I even told them that I will take a smaller one if they didn't have my size, just get me a dumpster. I paid for it I expect to get it. When I wasn't able to talk to a supervisor/manager yesterday I told them if I don't get the dumpster I ordered I would be paying them a visit at the office. I feel I should get the dumpster now plus a large portion of my payment back. I'm moving and I need to get this trash out of here.Business response

I have spoken with the customer. We were not able to get a 20 yard container out to the customer as requested via our online ordering system. When we attempted to reach out to the customer to give her a different option, the customer had already left town and just wanted to be refunded the payment she had made for the temp roll off. I advised the customer that we would be refunding the amount she paid which was $673.Initial Complaint

They sent a letter in 4/21 stating recycle service changing to every other week but we'd be provided an additional container at no extra cost if we called. Called, took 2-3 weeks and they delivered and charged us fuel fee for delivery of an additional trash container instead of recycle bin like I requested. Called and she removed fuel charges but left delivery charge, husband called and they agreed to remove delivery fees for wrong container and deliver correct recycle container. (****, ******* case #*********). Week of July 4 they delivered additional recycle container. However, **** came yesterday and they are trying to charge us a late fee on the credited $20.33 plus charging us $36.50 for delivery of second recycle cart that they said was provided at no additional fee. Each call to customer service is a minimum 30 minutes of wait time. Also, please note our trash was picked up one day late with no explanation and our recycling missed, followed by being picked up by trash this week.Business response

Thank you for alerting us of this issue, I have reviewed the charges on your account and corrected the added fees for the delivery mishap and late fees due to the credit. Many of the fees are automated but should have been caught by us prior to your **** going out, I apologize for that. The update will take up to 24hrs to reflect on your account and the next **** you receive will reflect the updated credits and removed fees. We pay a quarterly fee to have our trash removed. The company has not shown up, returned our calls, or offered any type of assistance in over 3 weeks. I just want my trash removed, I'm not even requesting the money back we basically gave away for them not to pick up our trash....Business response
