Solar was installed on home. Took a very long time to "turn on" the apps shows that it is producing power, however, I am not generating a savings. They are now permanently closed and I can not reach anyone and I am getting charged monthly for the panels.Initial Complaint

Feb 2024 we entered into a contract to replace the roof as well as install solar on my roof. The roof was replaced and solar panels were placed, and nothing else the job was never completed. We have been finding roofing nails all over our yard, no matter how much we search for nails we cannot find all of them we have all stepped on them from time to time. I had stepped on one being diabetic I did not feel it I am still fighting to save my *******************. We have attempted several times to contact the company to finish the job with no success. We are paying for an incomplete job that does not work. Promises in the contract were made but not being honored as well as shoddy workmanship.Initial Complaint

Sun up America is who I got my solar thru. They didnt get it up and running like they promis** before my payments start**. I was also told that I would receive $15,000 return on my income tax return for which in the past 2 years all that I have gotten has been $1000 in 2023 and $1000 in 2024. Now my psymff ** its have gone up because I didnt pay them ****** in 2023 for which is what they calculat** I would have gotten back on my taxes. ********** ***** sold us panels on June *******. We received our invoice for ********************************* FINANCE. The service was for Roof ******************** panels. They advised me as a US VETERAN I would pay nothing and they had a tax guy that would file all taxes for us to get us the full refund. (P.G.) was useless, other than providing a form. The solar panels still are not working right. We receive no monthly notice of solar use. There is no one to contact. Every person we have made contact within the first few months are all bouncing back as On June 30, 2023 we felt things were appearing shady & asked about CANCELLATION. After home purchase, SunUp was contracted to install solar panels system that also connects to internet so that usage information was available. The panels are installed and work - however, because the initial internet solution has been updated, usage information has not been available for some time. Initial contact attempts were made to this company requesting details on how to update the settings, but no one answered call attempts, so we stopped trying. Fast forward 2 years and after finally making contact with a Jezzica who replied to an inquiry made to ****************************************** from ****************************************************************************** at the beginning of September, I thought we would be able to get the needed info. But this person stopped replying after confirming the information they requested. The last reply received was 9/12, initial email being 9/8 and their first reply 9/9. There have been 4 follow up attempts since then with no response and all we want is information about updating the network settings so we can properly verify usage.Initial Complaint

Late 2023 we hired SunUp America to install a solar system in our home. The system was complete mid to late March. Communication was a little tricky throughout the process but I was still able to eventually contact them after a few tries. We had to start paying the loan through ******** prior to the unit operating so the company promised to send una check to make up for that first month that we paid the loan for without having a fictional unit. That check never came in the mail. Additional services to make out house more efficient were promised as part of the sale and those were never performed either. When I emailed them about them the response was those are contracted and its not up to us when they get you on their schedule. Already very frustrated that they could not perform the services that were a part of the sale. In June, I realized that the unit was not working. My electricity bill was very high and the meter was not spinning. I reset the breaker and the meter started to spin but my electricity bill has since been high as if we did not have the solars. At this point I have contacted Sunup multiple times without a verbal response and an email starting that they are short staffed and will get us in the queue for service. This has been over a month ago. I contacted the loan company as well and they check up on the situation but are unable to offer me a solution. They tell me that SunUp is still in business and continue to provide me with a number that no respond, eventhough they claim for be able to contact them faily promptly. I am paying over $600 between my very high electricity bill and a loan for a system that not operating. At this point I believe that both SunUp America and Goodleap are in this together and something need to be done to be able to stop them and for them to respond to all the people that have affected with their fraudulent way of doing business.Initial Complaint

SunUp American installed a solar system that we paid for in 3 installments($120,000+). The system worked for a few months and hasn't worked in several months. Have a panel that has not been producing any electricity for a considerable amount of time. It died some time In 2023. I sent them proof of the panel not making power for the last year and they stopped communicating with me. Just want to get the panel replaced.Initial Complaint

Im currently paying two separate bills, the solar panels and APS because I still have not been fully set up through solar. It has been well over a year and nothing has been completed. Ive reached out multiple times via phone calls, emails, etc. and have yet to hear back from anyone. Theyre stealing my money without providing a service they promised and signed on. Solar panels do not work right. First months electric was $45.00 from then on ****** plus. Plus we are paying for the panels each month.
