    During the week of 4/6/25 my car was towed illegally from public parking. The towing company will not provide bills or policy information explaining how to retrieve the vehicle, letting the charges grow day by day. Theyre solely responsible for the illegal towing, as the signage required to indicate regulated parking was their responsibility to install.

    On Friday April 4th at 8:46 pm in *************************************** committed predatory towing on my vehicle. My vehicle was parked in my friends apartment complex called Portrait At ***************. I paid for a parking permit through the mobile app called Park Mobile. The time stamp on the app states that my parking permit was valid from 8:40 pm until 1:40 am. R & M Towing towed my vehicle at 8:46 pm. I have a receipt from the towing company showing the time it was towed. I also have screenshots from the app showing the time the pass was valid for. I showed the receptionist at R & M Towing my screenshots on the app showing the time stamp of 8:40 for my valid parking permit, and she showed a time of 8:46 of the tow and said she could nothing about it. I paid them $179 cash when they had my car for a total of 14 hours. The fees on the sign in their office did not show the charges that they charged me for. I paid $24 for two nights and they did not even have my car for 24 hours. They are a very unethical business who would only accept cash. No where on their website or in their office does it state that they only accept cash.

    I parked in a shopping mall on ***************** on March 20, 2025 for a spring training game at the *********************. There were zero no parking signs and yet my one month old brand new car was towed and damaged by R and M Towing Company. The theft of my car resulted in me paying $167.00 to get it back.

    There are signs posted on all the light pole signs. There are signs posted at every entrance stating no event parking. There was also Two large sandwich boards at both main entrances stating everyone parking and going to baseball game will be towed at owner expense

    My vehicle was towed for parking in a private lot and the company towed my vehicle. I have no issues with that although it was predatory towing. My complaint arises with retrieving my vehicle. My towed vehicle is a company car, meaning it is owned by a lease company and I am licensed to drive it. I was not allowed to pick the vehicle up because my name did not match with the registration on the car, as it is registered under the lease company. I also have no complaints there, that is in accordance to the law. I was told I had to provide them with a document from my company stating that I am authorized to pick the vehicle up. I provided them with such a document that was notarized by the company and included all the vehicle information. Upon bringing this to them, they said there was allegedly incorrect information on the document (attached) and that it was insufficient to release the vehicle to me. I asked what needed to be fixed to release the vehicle, and the employees allegedly did not know. They directed me to their call center, and said my company had to call to get that information. I also tried calling their call center so I could tell my company what they needed to provide, and Bria at the call center told me that she could not tell me that information. I contacted my company again to have them call, and they listed out what information they needed from my company to let it be released to me. My main complaint is their employees dont know their own policies, and they have no clear written policies to allow me to retrieve my vehicle in a timely manner. While this is conjecture, I believe its because they want to hold the vehicle longer to accrue overnight fees and make more money. Overall, it was a terrible experience and they have unknowledgeable employees and hidden policies to make your life harder.

    2/23/25 parked at ********** nearby the *************** in ***********. There was no visible posted signage stating I could not park there for a few hours. I took photos of the signs I parked in front of that stated no overnight parking, and many MANY other fans were parking here due to full lots. 3 hours later, I come out of the baseball game to find my car missing. Workers at the ********* I parked in front of said they saw it being towed only moments ago and no idea why. They snapped a photo of the tow truck and the phone number to call. I called the number. To get the car out was $167 - CASH ONLY. This was raising a red flag immediately. I needed my car, so of course I went and got cash. When releasing my car I asked the women at the counter for management contact info or owner info. Apparently there is no owner or management for R&M Towing LLC. The paperwork was sketchy & quick. The hired help to ****** car owners to their vehicles were underaged boys. The whole thing felt like a scam and when I voiced my concerns of how shady this felt the woman running the show smirked and demanded my cash. After reading similar reviews on ******, this company, R&M Towing, is preying on anyone who parks in these lots.

    You are not allowed to park your vehicle and leave for the baseball game. The ball park has it's own parking lot, but you must pay a fee.

    My car was about to be towed out of the apartment complex i currently reside in (*********** apartments). When i approached my vehicle it was already pulled out of its spot but with no tow car available bc the guy that pulled it out didnt have room on his tow truck and i found the other guy (theres 2) sitting & waiting in front of my car. I had my keys so they couldnt do anything to take it at that point. I do have witnesses to this but they incorrectly latched their hook onto my vehicle; passenger side and because of that the body of my car passenger side sticks out more than it should leaving exposure to under the hood of the car and my passenger door is slightly indented and makes a noise when i open it now. They did nothing on their end to fix the situation when they damaged my vehicle. I do not have supporting photos but i have a video of the *********** car door making the noise if i can email it to someone.

    Car was towed from a strip mall. We were at the strip mall having lunch and came out to the car being gone. They said they had photos of us leaving the parking lot and going to the ball game. We provided receipts from lunch at the restaurant and requested the "evidence" that we left but they did not have any. These people are criminals and have terrible service. They told us they only take cash to not pay taxes.

    Was parked in shopping mall lot across from *******. Vehicle was towed because company claims I went to a nearby baseball game instead of shopping mall. When asked for proof, they provided none. Extorted in cash for 117 dollars.

    My car was towed from my parking spot after what I believe is coordinated religious /hate crime by ************************** R&M towing. The only way R&M towing has legal right to tow my car was if it abandoned but it wasn't. The property manager knows who I am as I am a religious and political refuge. Long story short I am the PROPER T so when Phoenix police radio code for found property is 928 and I live 9228 as well 926N and my APS bill puts me at 9226 N for Radio Code seized vehicle. There is no way that is coincidence. I received a sticker on my car on the 30th of Aug to telling me my vehicle had flat tires / abandoned and to move it by the first of Sept. Obviously I thought this was a mistake so I called my management company and told them please don't take my car it's not abandoned it's in my parking spot years and years of ****** maps satellite imagery will prove this. 2 days went by no one took my car so I figured they got my message. 29 days later without any warning my car was towed at 2:00 p.m. by r&m towing. I emailed them I called them when I called them it went straight to this voicemail box has not been set up yet. Zero response from them from messaging on their website and their email and it took and I wasn't surprised that it took them 30 days to respond to me as that would be the legal time limit for them to claim my vehicles theirs. I have every single email saved every phone call time stamped and now Mr ****** won't even talk to me because I mentioned lawyers in court. Speaking of lawyers their lawyer won't even contact me back so I don't know what to do but I want my car back they took it illegally so basically they stole it and the police department doesn't want to bother with it because they keep telling me to call the towing company but they won't help me because they are involved. HATE CRIME so I have to contact the ***. The last 7 of my AZ DL is ****** on the periodic table that comes out to 0BET LFE/obet is sacrifice My car $$$

    Your vehicle was ordered by your management for violating the rules of the community. Your tires were flat and appeared the vehicle was parked for several months. They put a warning sticker on it and you didnt remove the vehicle.

    R& M Towing towed my car in the apartment parking lot, there was not any clear warning sign for towaway zone in the entrance of the parking lot and the warning sign was so small and in the invisible place. My wife is a ****** resident visited ******* the first time for tourist. My wife went to the tow company to retrieve the car, the tow company refused to return the car to my wife cause the registration was under my name. My wife explained to the staff that her husband is a military member station in ***** and the staff wanted my wife to inform me and want me contact with the company even though I'm still in *****. My wife called the cop and the company still refused to return the car. I made the international call to the company, the staff asked me to wait and didn't care about the long distance call fee. The staff still wanted me to prepare the rotary release letter with the staff long statement and waste my phone billing. On the other hand, the staff wanted my wife to provide the car registration. My wife came second time on second day, she provided the release rotary and car registration together with the fine and finally the staff returned the car to my wife. As I knew that the owner didn't retrieve the car after 10 days, it will automatically assumed abandon car. I think the *** company want to rob the car and sell it. I'm so shock that this things happened in the *************, I serve for the country and the person in my country did this stupid things for my family. If the city government still let this tow company to extort the visitor, nobody wants to visit this city. I think that my wife was not the only one victim for this issue.

    Your message tot he Attorney General was that your wife parked at a hotel. This complaint is correct, she parked at an apartment complex. This was our earlier response and still is:

    The vehicle that was towed, was towed from an apartment complex, not a hotel. It might have an Air BNB in the complex, not sure of this.
    The guest parking below on the first floor has signs every other space that has a QR code for you to obtain a guest permit to park in the area. There is also these signs posted by the elevator and doorway to the property,
    The way the statue reads for vehicle release is the registered owner must show government issued Id with matching registration or title. Since you were unable to be here in person, you was asked to send a notarized letter giving her permission to pick up the unit on your behalf.
    This was done and released to her the following day.
    We appreciate you protecting the country. May I suggest that you add your wife to the title / registration due to the fact that most states require the same procedures.
