      I was hired by swift. Spent hours doing all their online work, had both blood and hair drug tests done. Orientation was Monday 03/18/24. I went to the hotel they provided Sunday. Was the first in the orientation classroom. An hour into orientation I get pulled out and told to go home because Im disqualified. No explanation. No reimbursement for the 20$ in tolls or the 35$ in gas or the time I wasted with them. Even my recruiter said how unprofessional they were about it all. They should not be allowed to treat people like this! My time and money are as important as theirs is!

      I received a job offer from swift as a truck driver, I accepted the offer they told me to drive down to ******** for orientation and I will be reimbursed for fuel. I arrived at the location and did one day of orientation after I went back to the hotel they told me that they cannot hire me I asked about reimbursement and they informed me they will no longer be giving me my money back

      My name is *******************, I graduated from SWIFT ACADEMY July 2021 and got my CDL. They put me with a mentor who was supposed to teach me how to do 45 degrees backing, 90 degrees backing and ***** backing. However, I wasn't taught none of these skills because the mentors were more concerned about getting paid instead of mentoring me. They wanted me driving instead of teaching me skills that I needed to be on my own. This was because they would get paid for their miles and additional money for the miles that I drove. My mentor was supposed to stay with me at all times, but he would sleep at night when I was driving through hills and valleys from ******* to ******** on my own. While we were delivering the load and picking up the loads, I complained to Swift on several different occasions that my mentor was not teaching me the backing skill, how to shift tandems, or other on the road skills and that was his job. Their answers were that I will learn those skills on my own on the road. But that was what I was paying them for and that would be a hazard. I was transporting 38,000-42,000-pound loads and didn't know how to balance them. After 3 weeks they upgraded me and put me in my own truck which, I wasn't ready. I was on my own and find it difficult to perform those skills and as a result I had 3 incidents then they terminated me. They did not provide me with the proper education nor mentorship for me to perform my duties. Now they are asking me to pay the money which is over $10000 for a service that they did not provide. As I'm speaking to you, I still need on the road training. Then, the termination that occurred by SWIFT is preventing me from getting another job because it's clear that I don't have the proper skills to operate a tractor trailer and now they are coming after me for payment for a job that they did not complete. I would like a full refund so that I can go to another institution to get the proper training that I need to continue to pursue my career.

      On November 19, 2021, **** ***** ******** was in contract to deliver a load for Knight-Swift Logistics. The load was delivered on time. Knight-Swift's empty trailer was picked up. The trailer number was ******. Within an hour after the trailer was picked up, the driver's outside back tire blew out. I called and emailed the broker of the issue, but did not get a response until almost two hours later. Because **** ***** ******** was on a schedule to deliver another load I called Love's Maintenance to replace the tire so that **** ***** ******** could get back in operation. I requested to be reimbursed by Knight Swift, and my request for reimbursement was declined; although I was advised that Knight Swift has an account with Love's. I also requested that Knight Swift pay Love's directly, but to no avail.
