    I recently had several sinks and washer hookup backups and flooded my home. When the plumber inspected the issue, they found a 20' sag in the sewer line that allowed debris to settle and caused a major blockage. I was informed that the sag in the line was due to faulty insulation at the time of build and is a major issue that needs to be addressed. I have reached out to Dorn Homes Warranty, ************ the subcontractor **** used for Plumbing and to the **** Warranty coverage provided by ****. All have informed me this is not covered outside of the 2 year window of the build. However, the plumber that came to do the inspection said this type of defect is not something that should be seen on a home so recently built. The two-year **** would have been August 2023, so I am only 3 months outside of this window. But given the severity of the defect, and that it was likely an issue all along that only presented itself recently, **** should address and rectify the issue.

    I bought a new house from ****. Last month the wind was very strong and my air conditioner. slid off the cement pad as Dorn homes never secured the air conditioner to the cement pad with bolts. this is a standard of completion. I have contacted **** which has been bought by another company who is responsible for this type of problem. They have not responded. The new company is called evermore homes.

    Difficulty getting a response from DORN Homes now that they have been acquired by Southern Home Builders concerning a complaint pertaining to LATENT DEFECTS A.R.S. ******. Problems with deck construction and poor workmanship that resulted in wood rot of deck structural joists and beams. Improper installation and lack of standard practices caused failure of the deck structure. This damage is not covered by the **************** that has assumed the structural warranty for DORN Homes. Cost estimates for repair exceed 25K and this is clearly a LATENT DEFECT issue.

    Bought a new construction in August 2021. **** offers a year warranty on everything. Ever since we moved in the ac has not worked correctly. Last year an ** company came out over 12 times to our house and never came to a solution on what was wrong. Once again when summer hit this year the ** went out again and was not working properly. We have had an ** company come out 5 times to determine that the attic is way too hot and that is why the ac is not working properly. **** refuses to listen to us about the attic and keeps sending out ac companies instead of getting to the root of the issue. I currently am 21 weeks pregnant. I am high risk and have been in a house that will hit over 85 degrees. I have been told that this is not dire situation by a **** customer service representative. I have major house concerns and they are not taking this seriously.

    ******* quit working 2 Months after we moved. It was found the *** pipe has been exposed to extreme high head and melted. It was repaired and we were told everything is fine. Three more visits by *********************** and still not functioning properly. The second *** pipe was melted again last week. **** is not concerned and said its not their problem as our two year warranty is up. It was never installed correctly and never functioned properly. We are thankful our house did not burn down.

    We are in the process of building a home in ****************, ********** **. We have had continuous problems with construction and communication issues with Dorn Homes for many months. The main issue right now is that we paid over $12,000 for an upgraded appliance package (cafe) on a house worth almost 1 million dollars with landscaping and now **** says they cant get all of the Cafe appliances. We understand there have been issues related to Covid - BUT then give us some realistic options! **** is planning on putting in an ** wall oven. We paid a lot for the Cafe package and now the appliances wont match, and ** is not the quality that Cafe is. That is very unacceptable! This is a new build! We have gotten such a run-aroundno return calls or transferred to people who have no idea what is going on. We asked for an appliance refund and we would put in all of our own appliances but have heard nothing. There have been many other unresolved issues, but THIS appliance one is a big one! Dorns on-site staff has changed hands many times over the past year and it is a real Cluster - . We are supposed to close on July 14! I wish someone could help us and MAKE IT RIGHT! Please ****, please make it right for us! We have made 7 trips from WI in the past year and have tried to get resolutions! Please help us!

    *** options we were offered in May when we were on site: (1) put in an ** wall oven (2) put in a temp oven until the Cafe is available. *** response from **** appeared to have stated that ALL of our appliances are not available.  NO ONE has stated this before today. Our (new) construction Mngr. said he would get back to us in a couple days.  It has been 10 days since that - with no communication. We want comparable value appliances for the high price that we paid upfront. When is someone going to really let us know what is going on??  I wish there was a way to work together rather than my husband and me being at the mercy of what **** decides to do WITHOUT letting us know anything or without any possible compromise.  We understand if you are not able to get the Cafe appliances. Allow us to pick quality appliances for our home! 

    Several mistakes were made by the design specialist that were not caught before ordering and we have to just settle with that - *** design specialist even  sent us pictures of our correct choices as documentation, but when she completed the forms - she made mistakes that we now have to live with.  No one wants to even listen to us about the picture documents that we have. 

    I am so disappointed with the **** Company. We have all gone through building issues due to or not due to Covid. **** was very accommodating when they wanted us to buy the home package, but not at all accommodating when we have some issues that need to be resolved.
