    SKyMed is in my opinion & experience, a hustle , a scam and a three card ***** all rolled up into one. We have been trying to get my wife medically evacuated since early 2023. We sat in a hospital room for three days. The contract "guarantees" that it will deliver you, your family and all your pets back to THE (singular) of your choice. The first time we sat a La **** for three days, we gave the doctor at La **** not one but FIVE hospital names and numbers. After three days he told us they all rejected her. (I wonder why?) The second time we tried to evacuate her, we had a similar experience. The final time, what I consider to be a dangerous and poorly trained doctor ( to put it mildly) told me she had an ischemic stroke which he diagnosed through a CT scan, presented her to the transfer unit at *********************** BEFORE ruling out his premature dx with an ***. They asked him how he was treating her and he told them. They said they said they would not do anything differently and would not accept her. The *** later that day rule OUT an ischemic stroke. Later, we were told a doctor at Hospital MAC that she could not fly that day because he was concerned about her "circulation " I asked him why, she clearly did not have a stroke. 10 minutes later he said she could fly the next day on a COMMERCIAL airline ($$$$$$$)and discharged her, had us picked up with2 of our 4 pets, and failed to tell the airline that this was a medical evacuation. Due to weather, our connecting flight that day was. When we tried to get on a flight the next day, we were told by the airline that they only had my name and my wife's name. Because she is so seriously ill, and because I am also sick, I could not risk having her on the flight with no medical ******. We finally arrived the SUNDAY after they picked us up on Monday or Tuesday but not before they lost two pieces of our luggage. They are now in breach of contract I think 5 times with us. I would avoid them at all possible cost.
