    We posted a job with Barefoot Student about two years ago. Since then, we have tried to contact Barefoot because we keep getting billed ($75 per month for 2 years) We would like immediate reimbursement and an end to any future contact with the company. It is incredibly frustrating that we can not get in touch with anyone, there is no number listed on the website.

All subscriptions automatically renew until canceled, and this feature was clearly listed on the enrollment page when you joined BarefootStudent.com.  Many members find this feature useful as they like the assurance of having a community of students available whenever they need help.

    Except as set forth by the below criteria, BarefootStudent.com subscriptions are nonrefundable, and there are no refunds or credits for partially unused periods.  Exceptions for renewal charges specifically may be made if your account meets the following criteria:

    Your account has not been used since the most recent renewal charge, AND

    Your request for a refund is made within thirty (30) days of the most recent charge.

    Charges older than sixty (30) days are not eligible for a refund under any circumstances. This applies to any membership length. 

    While we do not generally offer refunds as per our Terms of Use, we have refunded your last charge as a courtesy since you do meet the above criteria.  Your card will no longer be billed.  Please note that the refund may take up to one week to show on bank or credit card statements.

    I got this subscription on August 24 2023 and cancelled in October 24 2023. I have been charged multiple times on the same day and have been charged after I have cancelled. I have provided statements.I was charged twice on November 27th totaling $150 twice on the October 25th totaling $150 and three times in September totaling $225. I should have only been charged once in September bringing that total down to $150 but should not have been charged after the 24th of October.$450 has been taken out that I will be needing back.

    Today, October 30, 2023 a charge for $75 showed up on our checking account log. Neither my husband nor myself have ever even heard of Barefoot Student until this charge showed up on our account. We have no desire to do business with this company and we have never reached out to Barefoot Student in any way. We desperately need this money returned to us.

    I signed up for this service 6/05/2023. The website states my membership ended 7/05/2023. I have still been charged $75 for the last 3 months after cancelling this service. I have reached out to the company about the issue with no response.

    On 06/27/2023 I created membership at barefootstudent website Once I researched more, I came across BBB with 29 complaints, I canceled membership immediately. I was still charged; I called them and emailed the same day and no answer. Today I called every number and no answer.

    Barefoot Students is not ethical at all. I signed up in March of 2022 and I'm still getting charge monthly $75. I checked back in August and it showed my membership as canceled but I was still getting billed. At the moment it's still showing membership cancelled but ends in November. I googled their membership is it's renewed on a monthly basis, so why it's canceled but still charging me?I've emailed the people who keeps emailing asking me to post on their site and also sent a message to their contact email. Don't use this platform.

    I have erroneously been charged for a service that I did not receive by Barefoot Student for the sum of $600.I cannot get hold of anybody on any forum to try and resolve this.

    We never agreed to pay $75 a month indefinitely for a job platform that produces zero candidates or correspondence. There is no contact information available, and we have been charged for months now without us knowing or agreeing to the fee. It was supposed to be a one-time charge when we signed up.

    The company Barefoot Student erroneously charged us for it's service to the tune of $300 (four monthly withdraws of $75). We never signed up for their service and have no verifiable account with them. We are wanting to be refunded the $300 they have charged so far.

    Barefootstudent.com is not conducting business in straight-forward, clear-cut manner. Their practice is to solicit a business to pay $75 monthly to post jobs to their audience of students. There is no reporting system, no clear cut way to change the job posted, no way to know whether the job is being seen as noted in the below statement. The description given by ***************** is "Premium Employer Members can post up to 30 listings per month **** one per day) and access our student resume database **** six contacts per day). All job posts are emailed and text messaged to our proprietary list of ******************************* for hire. Each job post is also promoted on 50+ job sites including ****** Jobs, Indeed, and ZipRecruiter." None of the above can be verified. The phone number to call only states they will give a refund no **************** help. There is something going on that is not right. Please investigate this as their business practice is deceitful. I have cancelled by subscription and asked for a refund. Enough time has not gone by to know is this will actually happen. Even if it does, I still question the practice.

    I do not accept the response from BarefootStudent. The message they sent didn't answer my original question that I sent them. Here are a couple questions I sent them:

    I can't figure out how to change our listing. Also can't seem to figure out if anyone has seen the listing, applied, etc. Reporting?anything beside charging $75 for the account and posting a job?

    Okay! Ive sign up. Ive posted the job Paint Prep but nothing shows under this tab. Thanks. (i had a screen capture provided of my "postings" tab. it was empty.

    The company provides no support. They are quick to respond on the refunds which is good but otherwise they don't answer any questions. They provide nothing on the site to know if your job post is getting responses or that people are even seeing it.
