Sales person came in claiming to be from Clover ( *************************** ***************************** be helpful and save us some money. ( It's a lie, he is from another company)Everything sounded good and the gentleman stated this would be a smooth transition for our Point of Sale device. But it was not! I have given them ample time to make the corrections they need to make but nothing has been done. I have emailed and spoken with a ************************* from Private Leasing that told me over the phone to give the sales person (***) a chance to fix this which *** stated to give him 24 hours. Well that was on March 6, 2023 and today is March 11th 2023. I have sent an email for them to pick up their equipment and given them a chance to make it right but they seem to not care. Also spoke with ************************* this morning and I made sure to let him know i'm filing a complaint and he stated " My kid is on spring break and it's a Saturday". I'm also contacting a lawyer to seek legal action for fraud. Also the conversation with the sales person ( *** ) is recorded as I have cameras in my office if neededInitial Complaint

On December 2021, it was offer to me a terminal point of sale for my buissnes. I made the contract I recived the terminal but it has never worked.I was contacted by *********************** from partners account Manger Cardconnect, I told her that the machine was not working she direct me to customer service at *********** to talk to ***** I did and explain her that the machi never work and that I wanted to cancel the contrct. She told me that it was not possible and that she was going to contact me latter.On 3-31-2022 I recived an email from **************** at Gold Star Support I explain her the same thing and she told me that I can cancel with the company that makes the charges but not with the leasing company that it is private client leasing LLC. Currently I am dealing with 3 different companies (Gold Star Support, Priv ate Client Leasing and cardconnect), I really dont know who will resolve my request of cancelling the contract due to product not working.I will really apriciate if I can have your support to resolve this matter.Currently I am paying $100 each month for the next 48 months.Cardconnect ******** Number:5180 **** ******* Private Client Leasing: The contract I recived to sign It dosent have any contarct number, also I signed, but they are 3 areas were I sign and they need to sign but they only signed in one of the 3 areas and I never recived a signed contract by them.Gold Star Support on the email thay sent it has this number:5180***********.If you have any questions or comments please let me know.Business Response

Private Client Leasing is not the sales group that set you up or handles any customer service calls relating to credit card terminals. We only handle the signed contracts and set up billing for your lease payments. If and when you call in to Private Client Leasing we will direct you back to the original sales group who set you up. We have no record of you calling or emailing our office.
In this case, it is Gold Start Support you will need to contact @ ************. They set up your merchant account and sent you the equipment. They can fix any terminal issues you may have. Again, all we do is the billing for the credit card terminal you leased.
We apologize for the inconvenience and we already notified Gold Star Support to reach out to you. If you need any further assistance please call ************ or email ******************************** and someone on our team will assist you.

As I explained by phone, I have been having problems with the card terminal that I signed up for this past February (the terminal has never worked since I received it), Gold Start, which is the supporting company already trying to fix it and they couldn't do it.
Because they are three companies involved Private client, card connect and gold star, I did the first complain on the BBB against Private client that is the company mentioned on the leasing contract attached to this email. Complain ID is mentioned on this email subject, as you can see
private client said that they are not the responsables to follow up my request, also thy mentioned that they will let know gold star and ask them to contact me, until today nobody has contacted me from Gold Star.
Because I didn't know at that time who really was the responsable I made another complaint on BBB against Card connect that they are the ones that manage the transactions, attached you can find the answer from Card connect.
Basically they answer that they can cancel their part, but that I need to cancel my contract with the leasing company. They provided a phone number for that company that is not mentioned in any of the process or even on the contract that is also attached on this email
The company name is Bancorporation, they basically explained to me that they are the leasing company that paid a private client for the equipment and that the responsable is private client, they told me that if I cancel with them I will need to pay the penalties.
They were very surprised that the private client denied their responsibility in their answer to the BBB. They told me that if I want to cancel due to the reason I already explained I will need to convince a private client to pay BanCorporation so I don't need to pay the penalties. They also said that they will call Private client so they called me back to resolve this matter, I called *************** this past June 14 and until today nobody from the private client has contacted me.
As you can see, none of these companies has been able to help me with my problem and they avoid their responsibilities, this company (private client) doesn't give me confidence and I cannot trust them.
My request to BBB is to help me to cancel my contract with this company or companies avoiding paying the penalties due to their lack of support and avoiding responsibilities by just making me go in circles.Business Response

Private Client Leasing is a leasing company for your credit card equipment. Gold Star Support is the sales group that set you up and are the ones you will need to work with to resolve your equipment issues. We "Private Client Leasing" only hold the paper and do the billing for the monthly lease payment. We are not technical support and do not service credit card terminals. We only do the billing. If you would like to cancel your contract you will need to contact the sales group that set you up.
