  I have been working with Independence home loans for 3 months now - Their *** has strung me out and forced me into incurring thousands in cost to basically be ignored as soon as I started asking for clarity. I was told not to pay my mortgage because we were closing, then something came up and I would pay, this went on for months while I racked up various costs that would "help aid in closing" and late fees on my current mortgage. I have been trying to reach the Loan Officer I have been working with and the companies main contact number to speak to literally anyone about how to resolve this and have gotten no where. I would not work with this company if my life depended on it. I still cannot get an answer, update, or apology. I am now out over $2,263 and can't even get a call back. This company will promise you the moon but deliver nothing.

  Worked with *** ******* and ***** ******, both very well versed in people skills. Friendly, professional, and always available to help. Made the process as painless as possible, getting from start to finish, with very few hiccups, and the few we had were addressed quickly and with very little disruption to my personal life. *****, really stood out as someone willing to go above and beyond for the customer. ***** ***** was the Mortgage Processor II that helped get me to closing. Awesome team!

  I enjoyed this whole process it was genuinely painless. I worked with ***** on a V.A. ****. Almost didn't get it due to Termites. Thankfully my agent worked tirelessly even personally send letters of appeal to V.A. I highly recommend Independent and their wonderful staff.

  Mr. ***** ***** was my executive Loan Officer, NMLS# ******* employed by Independence Home Loans and worked with me on the creation of a second mortgage to generate a load that would be manageable and allow me to pay off some debtors immediately. ******* attitude and professionalism were outstanding. He answered every question I had in a matter if a few minutes and led me to believe that I was his only customer which I seriously doubted!!!!My VA first mortgage was at a 1.75% interest rate. I had more than enough equity to generate a $60k second mortgage at 8.5% which enabled me to pay off a new Car loan for an auto that was 6 years younger than my current vehicle (2022 vs 2016), Credit Union Debt of $17k and Credit Card debt which amounted to about $3k. **

  Even after asking them to stop contacting me they continue to send offers through the mail. I want it to stop. After talking to their *** I realized that they were trying to scam me.
