    I was employed w this company that provided onboarding services for the F&B industry. What endured while was despicable and shameful for any company to allow their employees to go through. There were no safe guards in place to protect employees that were doing virtual interviews from the predators that lurked the app. We walked on eggshells wondering if we would have a job because of our skin color or their micro aggressions. Often times told to give people another chance if they were caught on camera using the toilet, smoking, half dressed, impolite or having a bad day. The kicker, when men would beat their beat, Fiddle under a blanket or desk or blatantly take the phone in the shower to do their interview. Yet, if we had a bad day we were told to take the day off because they knew less hours meant no unemployment.

    I was told over a month ago that I was being "reviewed". I have no idea what for, and the company refuses to tell me.

    I had last used Qwick back in January of 2022. Since then, i have lost my old number and have a new phone number and lost access to all of my email accounts as a result. So fast forward 2 years to October of 2023 and i decide to get back on the platform. I SLsign up with my new number, because i lost access to my old one, and was told i already had an account and so i was told they updated and merged my info. I work 18 shifts and as im going to clock out of my 18th shift on December 14 2023, i see that they deactivated my account due to it being a duplicate. I was unable to clock out of my shift and had the next 5 days booked with shifts that i was specofixally requested for by the busness i was working with. No one will reply to any of my messages aside from some generic robot response to follow the FAQs of why my account is inactive. I need to speak to a love person. This is my job, my livelihood and how i live. And they could care less. They truly dont care about any freelancer nor do they care how bad they look when they do something like this and the busness that was relying on me is now up rover without a paddle. Ili need my account to be reactivated and i would like my shifts restored. I am a professional with a great qwickscore and nothing to warrant the cold way in which they have been treating me like im a leper. After recieving about 50 of the robot responses, one of the custmer service reps ********* up and texted "hey sorry i cant do anything here you have to go to the faq link." But that let me know tht they are literally sitting there and copying and pasting this generic response rathwr than actually helping me. It is not my fault that they erred but im the one who has to get punished? This is ridiculous and I need it fixed immediately. I need to speak to a live person, I don't know where ele to turn so I'm making this complaint because it is complaint worthy.

    today I was selected from a waitlist to work at a nursing home as line help. I have worked for Qwick about six times in the past 2-3 months with no call outs. However, today while I was in route to jobsite, my car broke down. I was in communication with supervisor from the nursing home, explaining how I was going to be late. In addition, rather than continue to be very late, I told the supervisor I would cancel. Upon cancellation, Qwick said my account would be deleted with no gigs for 14 days. I was in disbelief and confusion, so I text Qwick. Upon doing that, a representative said they need PROOF (yes) that my car was broke down from tow company.. which I didnt agree with, but did it anyways. Only to be told they need a time stamp. Again, I was against this but submitted anyways. Lastly, Qwick employee accused me of submitting fraudulent documentation from MY INSURANCE COMPANY.. and that not only with they not lift my 14 days, but permanently delete my account.

    So on Sunday May 28th my account was suspended because I wasnt able to make the job I had explained to the person on the platform that my car brakes went out and I wasnt able to make it I had got a tire rotation and oil change it says it on the receipt they are telling me my receipt from the mechanic is not real it was altered ?? I dont have patience to play games with people I am a good reliable worker I only accept jobs that I can get to and that work best for me I sent over the copy of the receipt that was given to me from the mechanic and they saying it was fake or altered

    I am not quite sure how Qwick crated such a pathetic platform for "culinary freelancers" because they simply do not care about their chef guest users. If I got into an accident, nearly died in a car crash or was horrifically insulted by an employee, IF I as the freelancer, call foul, I am disciplined or popped off the platform. today, I was insulted by a cook who asked me to do something in violation of ALL National Food Safety Regulations and I chose to say something about it. And I was fired from Qwicks platform. REALLY!!!!?>????? it's ok to serve contaminated shrimp to 100 ppl - but it's definitely not ok to be the person who says - not on my watch. Qwick is quicksand. they literally launched me from their platform for DOING MY JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I have been using Qwick as a staffing agency for about a year now. On 3/30, I was billed for a shift on 3/28. The agreed upon price was $60.68, but they charged me $82.32. They have no customer service phone number and their email service, IF they respond, takes days or weeks. I have done everything I can think of to reach out and get this corrected but they have no interest in making this right. I would like a refund of $21.64 to reduce the amount charged to the amount I agreed to.

    There was already a credit on ***************************** account that and we assumed it would be used up from a charge in the future as he was using us a few times per week. This merely slipped through the cracks and I've contacted him to let him know that we'll issue the refund for $21.64 immediately.  Thank you.

    To whom this may concern, I was sent to do a hospitality duty at *********************** Cafe employed with the Qwick platform on approximately 3/9/2023. The manager I was assigned to told me there was know work for that day, and she was about to leave for the day. I then continued to exit the business. However I then turn around because I was confused, and couldn't get in contact with anyone from the Qwick platform. I then went back into the business look for my assigned manager, at this time I was approached by a young man that looked like I had seen him before at a different work site, at the ********** of *** campus. He approached me at the end of my work shift, he yeld at me then told me he bet that I wasn't going to nolonger be employed through the Qwick platform. I then exit the business, like I was told. However I turned around to clock out, and seen a notice I will no longer be able to accept offers, I called Qwick to inform them what had happened they then gave me a second chance. However the same issue occurred at a different location at *************************** caf on my 3rd day there tried of going through very devastating challenges. Now again I'm unable to get offers through this this platform please contact the university and or the Qwick platform to clear my name. I'm never rude or disrespectful on a hospitality job to customers or managers or my team members during my work shift. I don't want all this very critical misleading information of my name. I had been spit on at drive through windows and know how to handle a incident at any hospitality duties dealing with the public, I'm a 41 year old of 4 children. Im a verified hospitality professional and stay professional under pressure at all times , and would never let someone that's not as professional as myself control my actions at work. Please contact the ********** and or Qwick platform to clear up my name.However this incident caused me to lose my position on the platform I'm currently unable to accept offers on the Qwick platform. I'm tried of going through this overwhelming experience and would like my name cleared. Is is how I support myself until I open up my own business and would like for BBB to contact the universities and or the Qwick platform to clear this up I'm currently not getting a response from Qwick and had not contacted anyone from the Universities because I was working under the Qwick platform. There's a problem and the problem is not me being rude at hospitality duties. I don't have any documents to upload, because I currently unable to pull up my profile on the Qwick platform.Thank you inadvance.

    On March 8, 2023, I signed up for the Qwick app on my cell phone. The app required me to add my photo, my Social Security number, my bank account information and other personal information such as my address. Then they required me to go to an online orientation. During the orientation, I quickly realized this was a complete waste of time so I decided to delete my app a couple hours after I signed up. After I deleted my app, I emailed the customer service at **********************, and asked them if they could please confirm that my account was deleted including my photo, my social security number, bank account information and my personal information. This was very important to me because I had identity theft twice in my life. Qwick customer service did not e-mail me back. So, I emailed the company name Stripe which is the company that Qwick used when you sign up to get paid on the Qwick app. ****** told me that I had to contact customer service at ********************** to delete my bank account info. I emailed customer service at ********************** three times asking them to please delete my account and my personal information. They refused to e-mail me back and help me and confirm the deletion. On March 9, I emailed again and they said they would text me which they never did. Stripe was the only company that was professional to email me back (see the attachments) but Qwick customer service was NOT professional and never texted me back like they wrote and they never responded to my request to delete my account. Also, I cannot read any chat messages because I had deleted the Qwick app and I let them know via email to please respond to me via email. All I want to know is that my social security, photo, bank account and other personal information that I gave is completely deleted. I just wanted a human to acknowledge it via email. How is that so hard? Now I am worried about identity theft. Qwick customer service is basically NON-existent and very unprofessional. I also wrote a review on *********
