      Invoice # ******** WO#******** Today, Wednesday July 17th I went to the ** in ********, ** Store #**. I had made an appointment the day before as I wanted to ensure I had a smooth experience but I had a horrific one. I walked in and was greeted by ***********************. As I was sharing with ***** that I was here for an oil change appointment and that I had come in on February of this year, purchased four tires and was given 3 years of free oil changes but that I hadn't received the coupons. Before I was done with my interaction with ***** I had the store manager step in *************************** and he instally said "YOU NEED THE COUPONS" pickup his cell phone and walk away abruptly. ***** and I looked at each other and he started asking me more questions. I told him that I had come in when ******* was the manager and that the district manager ***** had taken my rebate application (Invoice ********) and that as of today I hadn't received the coupons. I also shared with ***** that ****** was a bit rude as he was still on the phone 5 minutes later (PLEASE REVIEW CAMERAS 11:27am) ***** went back and spoke to ****** and then he came back with a better attitude and told me that he was going to take care of it. My car was finally ready at 12:37am and I was told by ***** that my car had an"oil leak" as the CRANKSHAFT SEAL was wearing off. I said that I came in on Feb and It's now July (5 month since my last visit) and I now have a problem that wasn't identified 5 months ago. I told him this seemed off and I declined the service. I walked out and checked the car and I noticed I was missing a tire cap. ****** replaced it. As I was driving home in 107 degree weather I notice my car making a noise. It turns out the bottom pan of the vehicle was left loose. I had to get my my knees in the middle of the street check under, looked at the damage caused by me driving, made an illegal U turn and returned to the store. I told ************** was NOT HAPPY and that the pan was just fine when I arrived.

      I was in location ************************************************************************* because a bad tire a blown to get a replacement. Today Monday 7/15/2024 I picked up my vehicle from the shop after service was done and noticed someone smoked a cigarette inside my car and destroyed car with a discussing smell that came to my face when you started the air condition, When I called the shop the assistant manager said maybe we left the windows down at parking lot because was hot today and maybe someone came smoke in the area next to your car. They need to removed this smell from my car and clean it as was before and tell them employees never smoke in customers' cars.

      Had a flat on my new car tire, only 1500 miles. A small piece of metal in center of tire causing puncture. New car has no spare so had to wait an hour for "free repair". Discount told me upfront they probably couldn't do repair and tried to sell me another new tire for $230. I had them take tire off rim to see how big the hole was inside. They said hole was too big to repair, that repairing it would be a hazard. This is a NEW tire. I told them I'm NOT buying a new tire. I told them to just put a plug in the hole so I could get it home. They refused to fix tire. All they would do was put tire back on car. I managed to get it home using air pump in trunk 3 times to keep it aired up. Today I took tire to another shop had it repaired for $20. NO PROBLEM! Discount is scamming customers offering free tire repairs so they can tell customers they can't repair tire saying you have to buy a new tire! Customers beware of this UNETHCAL practice!

      I have been waiting over a week for a tire that would replace the tire on my suv they called me and told me back the end of June the tire would be there it s the month of July i still don't have the tire and they told me i had to pay 60 for the certificate

      I tried calling the discount tire branch that handled my vehicle's tire replacements on Jul 7 2024 and their voicemail wasn't working. I called the ** corporate number and left a voicemail on Jul 7 and did not receive a callback. I'm filing an online complaint because I don't have time to keep calling with no response or working voicemails or to visit the store right now. I was told by the sales rep that I would be getting Michelin defender 2 tires put on my car. My receipt says Defender 2 as well. Instead they put on 2 Continental Control Contact tires. I just want to get this discrepancy resolved through a billing adjustment, as the tires are different prices, and I want this change formally documented in the system in case I have any tire warranty issues in the future. I do not want to have tire issues in the future and run into problems at ** because the computer says I should have Defender 2 tires on my car but ** actually put different tires on.

      Subject: Complaint Against Discount Tire, ********, ** I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Discount Tire located at ************************************************************. My recent experience with their service has left me extremely dissatisfied due to their failure to honor their commitments and their deceitful practices.On 07/05/2024, I took my car to Discount Tire because one of my tires had blown out. I inquired if it was possible to replace only the damaged tire, but their staff advised me to replace both rear tires for better balance. I agreed to replace both rear tires. after day, I called the shop twice to request that they retain the original good tire for me, I needed it in the future. Their staff assured me that they would save the tire for me.After, when I went to pick up my car a day later, I was informed that all my tires, including original good tire had been discarded. The only tire they had left was the damaged one. To add insult to injury, they falsely claimed that both rear tires were damaged, which was not true. My cars system indicated that only one tire was blown, and I had visually confirmed this when I brought the car in for repair.Despite agreeing to my request to keep the good tire, they failed to do so and did not consult with me before disposing of it. This behavior is unacceptable and demonstrates a complete disregard for customer satisfaction and trust. The compensation they offered was also inadequate and unacceptable. They offered me a mere $40 refund or store credit points for future tire purchases at their shop. Given my dissatisfaction with their service, I have no intention of returning to their shop, making the store credit useless to **** am seeking a more appropriate resolution, including a refund of at least $200 for the original good tire and an apology for their poor customer service. I hope that bring this matter to your attention, other customers will not have to experience the same frustration and disappointment that I did.

During these visit, the technician used a tire tread depth gauge that provided unreliable measurements, leading to the unnecessary recommendation to replace my tires.I am concerned about the accuracy of the tire tread depth gauge used at your store. The technician informed me that my tires needed replacing due to insufficient tread depth. However, I have doubts about this recommendation as I have regularly checked the tread depth myself using reliable gauge and the readings have consistently shown safe tread depth remaining.Furthermore, I have these tire depth results totally different:The technician's reading differed significantly from my own measurements.my reading for these four tires is 5/32. Their tire depth result in 3 days are totally different. These days are in one week.Request:I request that Discount Tire investigate the accuracy of the tire tread depth gauge used at the location I mentioned in this complaint.       I had my tire pressure sensor go off indicating something was wrong with my right side passenger tire. I took it to discount to have it looked at for repair. One got later they called me saying the tire had a nail on the outer rim and it could not be repaired so I asked them to put the spare on and I would buy a tire when I got back to ******. We saw where the nail was and it was on the threads so it was repairable. We took the tire to another shop and they told me that there was already a patch and that someone tried to fix it but they drilled a hole making the tire unfixable. I told that shop we had just come from discount and they told me they couldnt fix it. They never told me they tried to fix it and failed. Note Im stuck with a useless tire having to travel back to ****** without a spare and now I have to buy a new tire because they messed up my tire making my warranty from ****** invalid because they damaged my tire more than what it already was. I have to buy a new tire that is about $250 all because discount tire lied to me about not being able to fix my tire when they tried and made it worse. I want them to pay for the new tire Im having to buy on Monday. I didnt have to pay anything at discount but my guess was because they messed up just didnt tell me.

      I want to write my experience with the product and service the discount tire provided to me. I have a ***** Odyssey that purchased 4 new tires Jan/2023. At that time, they told me that I had a Tire warranty-mile guarantee from the tire company and that if anything happened to the tires, they would replace them at no charge. Yesterday 07/02 I visited the store in ********** *******. It turned out that my front tires were in such bad condition that they gave me a warning that I had to change them immediately. Otherwise, I would be at risk if I drove the car on the road. They said that the damage to the front tires was due to a mechanical issue, They did nothing to the van to make any type of conclusion. I asked the representative to drive it or I could drive it with him and he would see that it was not misaligned. They indicated they could not do anything. The warranty did not cover the tire defect. The representative at the store offered to sell me two new times for $350.00 cost for replacing these two tires. What they offered before was nonsense. There is no guarantee at all. The tires lasted only one year and were around. when purchased the van had ****** miles today it has ****** miles. My wife mostly just drove the car to the ******* ****** grocery. It's ridiculous that I could rely on these tires that have a 40,000-mile warranty. It just survived around one year. In the last year in a half, I purchased 4 tires for my 2014 ***** Odyssey. It is a shame that The tire warranty or tire certificate is a scam. The Tire certificate video clearly explains what is covered. My takeaway is this is a defect in the tire. The agent said they do not have an alignment machine and he did not want to drive so how can they make these kinds of diagnoses if they do not have the equipment or test drive? Discount Tire does not have alignment equipment and they did not test the vehicle.

      I had new Michelin tires placed of the front of my car, to match the rear tires. the tires that were on the car were still about half tread wear left, so it was an expense that was not based on money, but handling. The wheel on the drivers side front was brand new, had just been replaced due to an accident at the airport, ( not my fault ) by the way. When the tires were put on the car and i started to leave I checked the work, and discovered marks on the wheel, that were not there prior. I asked ****** an employee to look at it and he said they would take care of it, however he need a managers approval due to the cost of the wheel, ( over 250 takes manager approval) so ****** the on site managed comes out and immediately said it was not their fault. He began to argue with me over the fact, and at this point became angry, his voice cracked, hands started shaking, at which point i told him, dont take the personal, which he did, He left and returned with a truck wheel and brake caliper and began banging the truck wheel to show how tough the truck wheel was, which i pointed out to him its not the same wheel, my wheel is a passenger wheel.At his point he started calling me a lier and insinuated I was trying to get something for nothing, and people try and scam them all the time. My car is a luxury car with very low miles and in pristine condition, it's a 2018 model *****************-80. I spent ****** dollars to replace tires that still had half tread life left on them, giving up useful tires. He became angry in front of Camron and I and accused me of trying to scam Discount tires for a new wheel. Told me they would turn it over to claims and they would also disallow the notion, that they did the damage. He proceed to tell me that someone ( ME ) had taken a wire wheel to the car wheel and put those marks on the wheel. He was rude, belligerent, condescending, unprofessional in his demeanor, and escleated this to a very personal level, which was uncalled for. So Im documenting !
