      I purchased a set of 4 tires for my mother. They were 50k mile warranty. She went today and they told her the two front ones need to be replaced. They did not want to honor the certificate to replace because the tires show wires. But shes taken it in several times and have never told her anything until today. Shes only had the tires for 20k. I can cant help to think they are taking advantage of her because shes older and only speaks Spanish.

      On June 8th 2022 I had Discount Tire install 4 new tires on my 2021 ***** Pilot with 4 brand new 2022 ***** wheels that I brought with me. I had made an on-line appointment and in the special instructions I stated, please assign my job to your best tech as I don't want my new wheels scratched by your impact drivers and I don't want the existing wheels scratched as I will be selling them. You have damaged my wheels in the past. When I checked in, I asked Zach, please make sure the tech takes care not to scratch the wheels. Well sure enough, one of my new wheels was damaged and one of my old wheels was damaged. ***, the manager did not seem to have any compassion and had me file a claim with your insurance. I tried contacting your insurance and its been one big frustrating experience. I have gotten no where. I took care to try to make sure I had a good experience with you but my experience was awful and worse, you left the burden on me to clean up the mess.

      Discount Tires agreed to refill/top off the air in my tires for free (and this is in our agreement / their usual policy), but their employee told me that I should not fill my tires at their store.Even though their air refill facilities were working, he suggested that I "go to a gas station over there and pay 25 cents" to refill my tire.In addition to being insulting, I believe this violated their agreement with me and their general offer to the public. Incident occurred around 2:30PM at the Discount Tire Store at *************************************************************************. I believe the employee who made the statement was wearing a red shirt (Service mgr?) named ******.

      No one from management has contacted me since I received the message 5 days ago.

      I called Manager at site ****** who offered me 50% off my purchase of any 4 tires, however despite repeated requests he has failed to put his offer in writing.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********.

      Store Manager ****** reached back out to me and finished putting the resolution in writing.

      That resolution (2 free tires) would be satisfactory to me.  The business has agreed to perform this action when I need new tires.

      I went to disount tire to get 4 new tires put on my jeep. When I came to pick it up they told me they had stripped two lug nuts on one of the wheels and could not install the tire and as a result of their mistake. They said I would have to take it to another mechanic to get it fixed. I still paid for the full service which means all 4 tires even though one was not installed. The cost was 710. I then took my vehicle to another dealership which resulted in 806 dollars to fix their mistake. I returned to discount tire and told them that because of their mistake it resulted in 810 dollars of repairs and asked them to cover it. I have taken these lug nuts off myself with hand tools, just this past winter, and never stripped them and have replaced them before; that when I take it to a professional I expect to be taken are off and if you made a mistake you should make it right. I was contacted by a woman named **** at the claim department. She has not returned my calls about my claim. I want my money back for the repairs of the mistakes I had to pay for. I already paid for the full service which included the tire that was not even installed plus the repair service. Thank you.

      Purchased new tires for my vehicle, 2014 VW Touareg. Was told it was a good idea to replace the tpms sensors due to their age even though they were working. Had the new sensors installed with the new tires and now my tpms system does not work. Have been back to the store on East Broadway four times, they said they replaced the sensors with new ones of a different brand and they still do not work. The store refunded my money for the sensors after the fourth visit saying they don't know what's wrong. Said it could be the car. I had a 93 dollar diagnostic done at my VW service place and they said nothing is wrong with the vehicle. Tpms system still not working.

      Better Business Bureau:

      Scheduled appointment for today with business after they contacted me stating they had the new tpm s sensors in.  The appointment was attended to promptly and they were successful in installing new OEM sensors and restoring system operation at no additional cost to me.  I am pleased with the outcome.

      I purchased and had installed four tires on my **** F-150 truck at the Discount Tire Store in ******** *****. After returning home and closely inspecting the work I discovered that Discount Tire damaged the chrome on all four of my wheels. I wrote to customer service and received a response that a Executive from their Regional Staff would contact me. It has been two week since customer service sent me that message. I have reached out to them twice since then asking them to please advise and they have not gotten back with me. Attached are pictures of the damage to the chrome wheels.

      On a previous visit while having my trucks tires dealt with explained i wanted the tire pressure monitors replaced because the light is on and I believe, as most professionals believe, if one is going out, do all 4. The guy instead only 1 needed replaced because other 3 looked newer. I said isn't it smarter to do all 4? He insisted only 1. a week later tire light is back on. So on next visit to have a leak repaired I said to balance and rotate all 4 tires and stated light was on again. NOW the broke a wheel stud on the rear and didn't address the light issue until they pulled it out on to the drive to give back to me. They guy couldn't get the monitors to reset and said 2 aren't even reading so they must be wrong ones, EXCEPT, they reset last time so maybe I was right and the batteries were going bad in all and ALL SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPLACED. SOOOO now I have to make time to take back in to have tires all removed and new sensors installed. To add to this taking up more of my time, I had to arrange to take it to their contracted shop to replace the wheel stud Discount broke. That was 4 hours out of my Saturday. Plus no wheel lug because they didn't have a matching lug. So now I'm driving around missing a lug. Then within hours of that repair my ABS light comes on but shop is already closed. The Monday following I was having head surgery. So on Thursday I call the shop and they have me take in Friday. Turns out the shop errored in reassembling and now the entire axle had to be removed and repaired. Over a week without my truck so I could not work. So lost income. I'm hearing impaired so phone is not easy for me. But Discount has no email to contact, an ADA ********* since my handicap is hearing. I sent emails through their media relations and no reply. So now I have a truck missing a lug, lost a weeks work and have to take more time and expense off work to have sensors replaced as I had requested previously

      5/14/2022 I went in and purchased two new tires and had tires rotated. I picked up my vehicle to find out the broke part of my seat. The Manager ***** submitted a claim to there claims department but said the seat was already broken and had tried to be fixed. The technician *** is 6 1 or 2 tall. That the seat when slid back hit the toolbox. I specifically asked to read the claim submission or have a print out. ***** the Manager denied me he said its already been submitted he cant get it back and I can argue my case Monday. I recorded all of this and they are at fault for the damage and need to repair or pay for us to have it fixed.

      I just spoke to the BBB and found out this store Discount Tires on ******************************************************. This store is independently owned not connected to a corporate organization. They already tried to justify the mistake within the first minute. They do not want to take accountably for breaking a part of our vehicle. Since, they are independently owned they are their complaint department. The manager is not on versed on our vehicle on the part the technician broke. You can pay us the money to repair the the item if not will have to take other actions.

      Discount tire evaluated the damage to my tire, determined they could remove the s**** and patch it up and had me wait 1 he 15 minutes for it to be completed with a receipt from them. I drove the car home without checking and they did not only not patch the tire, but they didnt remove the s**** They gave a receipt for work they didnt do and were closed when I got home to see this so I couldnt call back.

      On Wednesday. April 20 I call the local Discount Tire (*************************************************** *****) and spoke with a pleasant gentleman named ****. He searched the entire country for a certain tire I was looking for an found only 4 at a store in Arizona. He asked the store to transfer the tires to his store. I called today to inquire about the status of the transfer and he called the store in Arizona to check on them. He then called me back, told me they were still there with a pile of other tires all waiting to be picked up by ****** He also told me that he was told ***** stops by that store every day, drops off tires, but doesnt pick up any tires, and there are other tires there that have been there for over a month or more waiting to be picked up. I asked if he or that store notified Discount Tire or ***** corporate office about the issue and he said no. He then said he would see what he could do and would call me back.
