      I am pretty upset with discount tires. I have bought set after set of tires on my 2012 ****** Sienna. Each time I have only gotten 20 to 30 percent life on the tire before I have had to swap out. Last time I got ****** tires in 2019. Rotation every 5k. Then in 2020 I had a tire blow out and had to get that front passenger replaced but had them rotate the other 3. In 2021 today both front tires were bald including that new Yokohama tire. The rep there tired to tell me I never rotated them when I did as we had to rotate them when I got the flat. Just 5-6k miles ago. It seems that the computer system was not accurate and was not providing a full history of my tires in this vehicle. Also the rep told me that the prior discount tires sold me tested tires in my van when they should have sold me h or better. Why would they do that if they know Ymir would have wore bad. Lastly they told me the sensor was bad on the passenger side tire and they replaced it but turns out they did the wrong on. Costing me more time and money. Just a terrible experience they last few times at discount tire. I want a large refund for the time wasted, inconvenience, incorrect work and bad information I have been given. I would like district manger to call me asap Also my sensor on the tire when out.

      On 08/16/2021 , I had an appointment to rotate my tires. I watched the technician attempt to open my door to drive it in the bay and he was taking a long time to do so. I walked to the car and noticed that the door handle and lock inside were broken. He immediately claimed that he was not responsible for the damage and gave me my keys and walked off. He notified the manager yet the manager did not come outside to solve the problem. I left the store and came home to notify the corporate office on their customer service email found on their website. I have not received a response from Discount Tire. I have purchased my last three sets of tires from Discount Tire and hadn't experienced anything like this before. I am now forced to use the passenger door to enter and exit my automobile which is unsafe.

      Rotating my tires this shop damaged my right front fender cap. They hit it and left it damaged. This was just careless. Now after contacting the company they left a contract phone number that to leave a message. That the person never responded to my calls!

      I went in to get tires rotated and was told I couldn't leave without getting at least 1 of my tires replaced. But they didn't have a matching tire, which led me to needing 4 new tires...even though I had 3 other tires with around 50%. So I was confused but the sales guy assured me getting the 4 tires replaced was my best option and only way to get the tires to match and truck be drivable. So I agreed to this and paid, even had to get their synchrony financing, to afford the repairs. Then of course, I get a call 2 minutes later saying they didnt have the right tires in stock...and I would need to pay another $300+ additional. And what choice did I have? I already paid them, took out financing, and they had my truck/old tires. This company is okay with dishonest sales tactics and swindling regular people during stressful situations. I only "needed" 1 tire.Then was forced to buy 4. Then was forced to pay more than the agreed upon amount, because only the "upgraded version" I suppose, was available.

      On August 9 2021 I went to the sellers website to find tires for my car. According to their website, the pirelli p4 fourseasons plus P 205 /65 R16 94T SL BSW was the right size and speed rating for my car. My car is a 2013 ******* Sonata GLS. I ordered two tires based on this recommendation. Discount tire at ****************************************************** accepted the appointment to install and installed them on August 10 2021 at 8:15am. I now need two more tires for the front of my car. So I have gone back to the discount tire website to order two more. Now the discount tire website says that this size is not correct for my car. According to my research this is correct. The wrong size tires were sold to me by Discount Tire. Specifically it is the speed rating of the tire. The minimum speed rating is H and the tires that Discount Tire recommended were rated at T. So I now have two improperly rated tires on my car thanks to the Discount Tire website.

      On 12/30/2021 about 6:00pm I stopped at Discount Tires to check leaking air in my front passenger tire. They told me that: have nailhole on side that can not be fixed and needto be replaced. I also ask if they can install new TPMS sensors that is original factory for my truck. Salesperson tested those sensors on a mini computer to verifyand told me the sensors are for my truck and will install them for$20 each. I told him that to make sure tire pressure needs to be 40 plus PSI for sensors. After installation, they told me to drive 20min min 40 miles for the sensors to be activated, I drove half a tank and all week none of the sensors worked. stop at another place and check air pressure is 32. On Jan 3. went back to the Discount tire sales rep. **** told me that sensors are not matchingmy *********** need new sensors that he will install for $240. I told him that I had original sensors that I ordered from a reputable online store and they are new and original for my truck. I asked him if I could talk to the sales guy who tested and verifiedmy sensors before installation. He told me the sales guy is helping another store. Since I had life service for the tires and warranty I requested balance and rotation, I alsotold installers to balance, rotate and pressure to 40psi. all they did was rotation, no balance and pressure was 32psi.

      Purchased tires from Discount Tire located in ******** ***** on 6/11/18 for my 2018 Chevrolet Corvette. Discount Tire damaged the drivers side front wheel when they used a hammer and a s**** drive to beat out the Tire Pressure Sensor on that wheel. As the hammering on the wheel I asked the manager at the time to look at what they were doing, his response was that was normal. They tried 9 times to get the sensor to seal in the wheel but it would not. The manager agreed to replace the wheel as I did not think it was "normal" to hammer on an aluminum wheel with a screwdriver like a chisel. Two weeks later the new wheel came in and was installed. I was not given any paperwork to let me know what the did or what was put on. It looked like the other front wheel and it held air so I left. About 2 1/2 later the tires were worn and the drivers front was leaking air. I assumed it had a nail or some other leak and kept filling it up once every other week or so until I got the tires replaced. A different Discount tire replaced the tires this time, they had them in stock, they are often hard to find as all 4 are different. The drivers front kept leaking air. I took it back to Discount tire to find the leak. I was told it was leaking from the inside bead because the chrome coating was cracked. Discount claimed it was past the 1 year warrantee and did not want to do anything. I asked them to prove the put an OEM wheel on. They could not produce paperwork showing and OEM wheel was put on. I asked why the other 3 OEM wheels from 2018 were still holding air. ***************, manager, had no answer he agreed to split cost of a new wheel on 11/22/21. I agreed and he ordered it. It is now 12/30/21 it is not in I called him, he claims they had a tracking number for deliver 12/28/21.New OEM wheel is PN ******* it retails for $1400. I do not believe they put new OEM on most likely a refurbished wheel, much lower quality. I need new wheel and tire now as tire goes flat in 1 day.

      I had the front end of my truck replaced,and I had to bring my truck back a few times because they put the sensors on incorrectly and then when I drove it I realized something was wrong with he steering it was not working correctly. I was afraid to drive the truck because the steering was so loose. Then when I took the truck in I was informed that one of the steering buses they had replaced was not installed properly. I had only driven the truck 300 miles. They said they would replaced the part they installed incorrectly but I had to pay for the installation.

      Good Morning,

      I received your email stating this was the "second" notice, but this was the first email I received.  I am copying the correct region who helped this customer earlier this month at one of their America's Tire locations (CAL37). In her complaint to the BBB she writes about having her front end rebuilt and steering issues in addition to sensors.  We are not a mechanic shop.   We do not rebuild front ends or work on steering boxes.  We do install tire sensors that are installed on the tires, so we will have someone reach out to her to see if she needs to have her tires and tire sensors looked at, and to get a copy of her $180 invoice to see how we can assist accordingly.  I  have included the correct info below for the regional office for any future follow-up.  Thank you!

      I purchased 2 new tires from Discount Tire in ****** (Address: ************************************************* *****). I had some issues with the tire so I went back 2 days later to get them replaced. I read this in the return policy of discount tires website and went to ask.The sales person at this location was extremely rude on both occasions. He was tried to be even more rude to me on the second visit and I ended wasting 2 extra hours at the discount tire. While waiting in the common area I saw him respond rudely to another customer and on the phone. I usually go to the discount tire in ********** where everyone is so friendly and lives up to the discount tire experience. I only went to this location as ********** didn't have an appointment. This sales guy is not only wasting customer's time but tarnishing the ********************** reputation.

      I brought my Range Rover Sport to discount to replace a tire. The old tire and rim were in back of the vehicle when the discount employee removed the rim and tire they scraped it on my bummer causing damage in the amount of $1,600.00 and broke my spare tire winch. Discount has sent a check for the winch but has not yet addressed the damage to my bummer I have attempted to contact discount insurance company for a month with no response. If this does not get resolved soon it seems that litigation will be necessary
