I signed a membership agreement along with a personal trainer agreement. I was told at the time of signing that I would be able to cancel at any time. I found that the training was too hard on my wrists. I also found that scheduling a personal trainers meeting was not that easy. They do not have voice mail nor do they offer any type of contact over their website. Oh yes they have a contact on their website but the Mesa location does not respond. I went to the gym and told them that I needed to cancel my memberships. ***** told me that I had to pay for 50% of my remaining membership contract which was $400 and the balance of my personal training contract. So I was lied to about canceling any time. He said I could get a doctors note too. I opted to try and continue personal training at the risk of injury. I do not recommend this gym to anyone.

All members are given the option of a month to month membership, a 6 month membership, and a 12 month membership. All members also sign 4 times on the membership document. Members then sign and initial a new membership checklist which has 15 initials and another signature. I don't understand how a member can not understand what they are signing when they join, as we go above and beyond to ensure that every member knows exactly the terms of their agreement. The agreement specifically states that no verbal agreements will be acknowledged. Please refer to your agreement and new member checklist.

Thank you for informing me. I will address this with my staff and make sure that no one is placing any marketing material inside of mailboxes.
