My experience is similar to the majority of the reviews here. Along with being scammed out of the money and doing all of the work myself for the ad design, I noticed that this company is majority AI ran. The only time I had spoken to a real person was when the business I manage had been called with the ad space offer. I was offered a free golf course membership for all of our employees along with a one time payment of $375 to have ad space for the golf season, which I had not received either of the promises. Since confirming my design a week after my payment, I had not been able to get through to any real person. I had called the customer service line about 10 times throughout the course of a few months, each time leading to a busy line. After a few hours, I would recieve a call back without any answer in the other end, so I would hang up and like clockwork would receive an email from the company stating that they were sorry that I missed them. Their efforts to show proof of communication had been programmed without any actual help. I had also received a double charge without any communication and no proof of a finalized piece or evidence that my ad had even been published.Direct Fairways LLC

Was relentlessly called multiple times for an ad space for local country club score cards. They would not take no for an answer even though we are registered with the *** on the do not call registry. Was supposed to be a one time thing for x amount of money to stop the calls. Days later was called for an upsell. This made me upset and wanted out of it all. And now they hit me again for $400 saying i entered a two year contract even though i have zero record of agreeing to a two year contract. i have no problem donating locally but this company will never get another ***** from me again. Wasted time and money. Learn from my mistake and report them the instant the call you back the second time when you say no. A company with no space to leave reviews on any website, social media or even ******, they know they are a scam.Direct Fairways LLC

I was extremely excited initially, and then when my ad was never put up! It raised the red flag. I got a digital copy of how all my stuff was supposed to look, but I never went up so I basically paid for a replica that never got marketed. Sad to say I wouldnt spend any money marketing with this entity.Direct Fairways LLC

We would like to address the complaint raised by *******. She signed up for a one-year golf advertising package with our company in September 2020. This service was rendered over five years ago. We can confirm that the product was shipped to the course, and we fully honored the one-year advertising period she paid for.Additionally, we spoke with ******* on January 14th, 2021, during which we provided her with a digital copy of her ad. After our communication in January 2021, we did not receive any further complaints or issues regarding the advertising. On April 1st, 2025, she contacted our customer service department requesting a refund and claimed she never received a copy of her ad. We want to clarify that all services were completed and fulfilled by Direct Fairways, with her advertisement successfully placed at ********************. We thoroughly explained this to her and provided another digital product copy. We value our customers and are committed to providing transparency and excellent service. We trust this explanation clears up any misunderstandings.Review fromMo A

Cold called by young sales *** (who no longer works at company) to purchase ad space on my local golf course. Contract signed 12/12/24 for $******* to have a my business advertised on a yardage card on hole 1-3 totaling 3 yardage cards at my cities local golf course.Request for proof of artwork was sent out on 12/20/24 - I requested slight tweaks and received revised version and did a final approval 12/25/24 (Account#******)from 1/1/25 - 3/21/25 I have been given the runaround about a HARD date when ads will be in the ground. Today 3/21/25 I called my local golf course to ask how many yardage cards they currently had on the course and did they know "Direct Fairways". SHOCKER - manager informed me they do NOT allow yardage advertisement, only score cards. My ads would NEVER be allowed on the course. I have reached out to my bank to file claim and get my ******* back ******* NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY - SCAM RUN BY YOUNG ADULTS WHO GIVE YOU THE RUNAROUND FOR MONTHS!!!!Direct Fairways LLC

Thank you for your response and for sharing more details regarding your concerns. I want to clarify a few points and address the situation fully.Direct Fairways has been working with ************************* since 2020 and has consistently provided yardage cards to the course. We have shipped multiple batches of these cards, and recent communications with the course in 2025 confirmed their requests for updates to the information on the product. Based on this long-standing relationship with the course, weve been confident in our ability to fulfill the request for your advertisement. We apologize for the delay in providing you with a hard date for when the ads would be in place. It does take a bit of time to get sent to press. To clarify, all advertising timelines are directly tied to when the product physically arrives at the course itself. Despite the dispute raised on your account, we continue to honor our agreement in good faith. As we mentioned during our call on March 20th, we are waiting on final artwork approval from the course, which will be sent to press once received. Once approved, the printing process typically takes about two weeks. We will be sending you a DPC and tracking once sent to the course. We also want to emphasize that we are a legitimate, established business with contracts with over ***** golf courses and more than ******* advertisers. While we understand your frustration with the delays, we are not a scam, and we are committed to resolving this matter. We genuinely value your business, and we are still going to fulfill your advertising time. Please allow us some time to receive the final approval from the course, and we will ensure that your ads are printed and placed promptly once that is in place.Again, We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and confusion, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this matter. If you have any further questions or concerns, please dont hesitate to reach out. We would like to address a review we recently received from ***** and provide some clarification regarding the situation. First and foremost, we want to emphasize that we are not a scam. Our company has been in business for over 10 years, serving more than ******* clients and partnering with over ***** golf courses across the ************* and *******
On July 12, 2024, ***** agreed to purchase advertising at the golf course, with a cost of $700 per season, which she confirmed during our phone conversation. After receiving her artwork, we proceeded with creating her proof, as we do for all our clients.
On October 7, 2024, we contacted ***** to inform her that we were entering the next printing session. During that time, we also offered her the opportunity to modify her ad and advised her that billing for the session would follow.
We have made multiple attempts to contact her via phone calls and emails, but unfortunately, we have not received any response.
We want to confirm that ****** account is paid in full, and we will continue to honor our agreement, which is set to end on July 31, 2025. There will be no further billing, and we consider this matter resolved.
If you require further assistance, our customer service team is here to help, and we strive to resolve all issues amicably. You can reach us at ************, or feel free to contact us via chat at ******************************.Review fromTyler C

1 star****** to a $350/year advertisement for 1 year. They, on their own, signed me up for an auto renewal at $850/year. Refused to cancel the "subscription" by telling me they would, but never actually following through. Would wait until my payment went through and would not refund even though I had proof VIA emails. The salesman and woman are very snake like with their ***** ***** sales tactics acting like they are a long lost friend or someone i should know. They act like I'm the idiot who should know what they are calling about even though it's never actually stated. I have tried multiple times to get them to stop and refund the $3200 + that they keep sneakily charging my card. I have disputed this with my bank only to get the most recent payment back. My small family owned business has been devastated by these crooks!Review fromJordan L

Zero stars! This company is a complete scam! I signed up Sept 9th 2021 & paid $399 for 1 year to advertise my small clearing & grading company on a yardage card at a local golf course about 1 hour away from my bus. for the year 2022. Mind you, there are tons of **s within 30 miles from my business. In the same phone call the caller talked me into extending my ad another year for another $399. I accepted thinking it was a good deal & was now covered for 2022 & 2023. I made it easy because I wanted my business card to be used in the ad which I sent the ******** to get started. Sept 13th, got another call for more ad space meaning I could put the ************ of my business card & extended my ad for another year & paid $399 & Sept 30th, $399 more covering me for 2024. Fast forward to spring of 2022. I take a roadtrip to the ** to see the printed ad & get a few cards for my portfolio and lo & behold, the ** Pro had NO knowledge of them or their ********** had been affiliated for many years. He looked around & found a small box of cards under a display case & even helped me look through them. We found my ad that looked GREAT, on maybe 500, nothing near the *** paid for. THEY WEREN'T EVEN IN USE! I took a few & left very angry! I knew I had been duped for $1596. To a small & very new business that's A LOT of money to just throw away with no return on your investment (ROI). I called and went round and round with several *** in their office including one listed here by BBB to no avail. Ok. ****** learned, but still. This is SO wrong. They say they have contracts with each golf course. They DO NOT. May've HAD ONE at some point in time, if even at all. My ** had no clue about them or the *** and even showed me who did print their cards. I called several business owners from the cards I took to ask how their experience went in dealing with Direct Fairways & NOT ONE had anything good to say. They even called about two years later to scam me again! Haha! No thanks! Stay clear!Direct Fairways LLC

Hello,
We apologize for any confusion regarding your advertisement. Please rest assured that we are contracted with all golf courses we solicit advertising for. Since you were able to locate your ad in the pro shop, its possible the person you spoke with was not our primary contact at the course. We will reach out to the course to ensure they are utilizing the products as agreed. Additionally, a member of our customer service team will be in touch with you. If you need immediate assistance, please dont hesitate to contact us at ************.

Like many others here, I signed up without checking the companys reviews.During my phone call with them, I was told I would be charged $399 for a spot on the scorecard at a local golf course starting December 8. This was supposed to cover one year of advertising on their scorecard. On March 4, before the course even opened, I was charged another $399. I assumed I had misunderstood the agreement during our phone call, so I didnt think much of it and moved on.On May 16, I was contacted again. They asked if I wanted to purchase another spot at a different course. They said if I paid $798 for the year, I would get the following year free at both courses. I agreed, and everything seemed fine at first. However, I was charged $798 two more timesonce in ****** and once in October. After the ****** charge, I contacted customer support. They told me this was what I had agreed to, but that wasnt ******* this point, I decided to look up reviews, and I ended up here. I saw tons of stories just like mine, with the same problems and timelines. Its almost like this is a common practice for them. After around 1.5 hours on the phone they agreed to refund me for the latest charge of $798. I have reached out to the two courses in question to see if they even actually had a contract with them. Which I'm guessing they don't based on what's stated here by everyone. I will update later on the results.Direct Fairways LLC
