I wish I would've checked here before I got sucked in to this slimy company. They didn't follow through on a single one of their promises or guarantees. Not only did I throw away thousands of dollars on their fees, the time I wasted on the calls and their Roadmap was ridiculous. I know better, but they have some smooth-talking sales people who have since managed to disappear. Don't give this company a dime.WealthAbility LLC

I will add to the growing # of negative reviews. Although I have been a fan of Toms books and work for sometime, the franchise model (I do not know of any other way to describe the business model) being used for WealthAbility is not working and is very disappointing. I was never informed that Wealthability is a franchise model where I would be assigned an unrelated accounting firm that is basically paying Wealthabiliy for marketing to generate them clients. Also there was a big disconnect on the promises and benefits that I was made at the time I was marketed to and agreed to sign with the Wealthability home office, and the franchisee accountant I was assigned. It appeared the assigned accountant did not understand the deliverables defined or the agreement that was to be delivered to. I made it very clear that a bunch of very general videos and zoom meetings that are standard for everyone would not meet my needs and very specific tax advice for my unique needs was the goal. Also, there was a very big disconnect between Wealthabilities contract and the expected scope of the project the accountant understood. Finally, we had 4 meetings with our assigned accountant and no deliverable was produced. In two meetings the actions were taken and nothing was done prior to the next meeting for progress. In fact the accountant misrepresented himself regarding the time spent reviewing our books My time is to valuable to attend the meetings and just talk with no action. After 8 MONTHS of asking for refund or remediation nothing was done. Wealthability told me to talk to the accountant, the accountant pointed back to Wealthability. No matter how they reply to this review I gave Wealthability many opportunities to either refund my money or propose a satisfactory solution and none was given except for telling me to work it out with the accountant ALTHOUGH my payment and agreement was to Wealthability. No tax savings, no deliverables, no useful information, Very disappointing,WealthAbility LLC

Now I see in the other reviews that I was not the only one that were told it was services foe life. Its a scam.Very confusing info. Associates not responding. Thought I had a call , just to hear I didnt and next available appt is 2 months from now. Dont do it!Review fromNilay E

Wealthability immediately draws up a plan to tell you that they will be your lifetime tax partner. They paint a picture as if you can consult them any time you come up to a point that you need assistance. Yet you quickly find out all they sell you is a bunch of education program that you can easily pick up from *** ************* book already. They even go to a distance to tell you that they will help you buy a ******* for free on taxes. Their plan may work if all the utopic conditions they list are met and if you have $250k laying around. This is such a comical situation how they provide such a lip service. This lip service also gets extended to the *** firms they assign you to. All in all you end up spending more then $5,000 just to get a bunch of training videos. Problem is if I knew how to apply any of these, I would have found the data online anyway. The *** firm you are assigned to agrees to do your taxes for that year. You have to provide every accounting file correctly. The Firm I got assigned DOBA Tax made mistakes and did not allow me take the most returns. You only have 6 one hour sessions to ask questions. Yet during these sessions, they just talk and tell you that you should have submitted your questions ahead of time although their scheduling form does not require this. They told me cost segregation is useless for my case. So, I asked for further advise and they told me about ****** real estate. Next time I asked about that, they explained it wouldn't really work for me and told me I can do oil and gas investments. And this goes on and on. The year after the first, when you go to file tax with them they asked me for $2,000 to file my taxes. I am not an enterprise. We are filing individual joint taxes with my husband. This is outrageous. I wish I read the other reviews here before signing up. It was a complete waste of my $5,000+. I can't believe how they setup their advertisement to make you believe you will actually be getting tax advice.WealthAbility LLC

1 starI worked with Wealthability because of their promise to help me with my taxes. Not only did they not help me, they caused me to have my taxes filed late. They, as well as the affiliate they pawned me off on, stopped responding to me completely. They completely ruined my books and forced me to find another accountant in order to get my taxes filed. I have incurred thousands of dollars in fees from my taxes being filed late and thousands of dollars in additional CPA costs to get my taxes completed and books done. I can't believe this company hasn't gone under or been sued yet.Review fromNathan W

1 starSince my last review, WealthAbility did contact me but did not do anything about our concerns. We also can not get our WaelthAbility accountant to send us an amendment to our taxes that we never received a copy of when it was originally filed. Legally, they are supposed to provide us with that but will not. I highly do not recommend this companyReview fromMatthew L

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and disappointment with the services provided by Wealthability. Unfortunately, the services have consistently fallen short of my expectations, and I find myself in a position where I am not satisfied with them at all. Despite my initial optimism, the continuous disappointments have led me to conclude that the services offered deeply miss the promise and the standards outlined during my initial interactions with ***********************, then *******************, *********************** and the entire Wealthability team including High Country. I formally requested a full refund for the amount paid for the services. ******************* promised to refund me the full amount and never did.I have attempted to report my issues with everyone on the team several times but have not received a response. After submitting a complaint on a survey, **** reached out to me. It's been months, and I have no resolution. It is concerning given that its the end of tax season. I have requested a full refund because Wealthability and ***** promised an Entity Map in the agreement, which I did not receive despite multiple requests. ********************* (High Country) personal tax consulting meetings could have been more helpful, but I could get better info from Turbo Tax and H&R Block. Not to mention he was late to all three meetings (20 mins to the last one) and didn't focus on the Tax-Free Formula Five Steps to ************ Furthermore, he didn't discuss reducing my previous year's taxes or the $500 Deduction Boost. I've attempted to use their services, but they are not delivering what they promised and are now avoiding me. A refund would be a fair resolution, considering the lack of satisfaction and the gap between the promised services and the actual delivered results. Poor service and a complete waste of time and money!WealthAbility LLC

***************************** is a really smart man, but his network of accountants did not work well for us. Our accountant said she knew about ** tax law. We spent a ton of $ on Wealthability and then we then spent a ton of money structuring our entities per their guidance. We are now learning that what they told us to do needs to all be undone. It is simply costing us more money than it is saving. All of the asset protection measures they told us to do are being undone by tax code that changed before we implemented their plan. Our Wealthability accountant also missed the fact that she was supposed to file a ** tax return for **. We kept asking her to do it and finally went to her superior. Her manager told us to find a new accountant instead of helping us. The whole experience was supper disappointing. On top of all of that, we paid for bookkeeping that was not complete though we paid for the whole year of bookkeeping.WealthAbility LLC

WealthAbility puts its clients first and takes feedback, such as this, very seriously. WealthAbility is currently undergoing conversations with ******************** and is working with Mr. ********* advisor to understand where the possible breakdown of this engagement may have occurred. In particular, how the measures that were recommended are impacting the results. Additionally, WealthAbility is looking at the status of Mr. ********* state tax return and bookkeeping services and is actively working through the details to better understand how to resolve this matter. WealthAbility has a long track record of delivering an outstanding return on investment for its clients and is committed to continue to work with ******************** on a solution to this matter.
