1 starIf I could put less than 1 star, I would. I was not able to connect to my financial institution and customer service was horrible. I would be put on hold several times, and then told my case was being elevated to level 2 and they would be calling me back. They never called, so I called back, only to be told that they would call back. This went on for several weeks. All the time, I didnt have identity protection with my financial institution. I called again yesterday, only to again be put on hold several times and nothing resolved. I told them I wanted to cancel and wanted a refund. I was told I would not be eligible for a refund, because they only give refunds up to 60 days after renewal. I would never recommend Life Lock to anyone. Their customer service is useless,Review frompeter e

1 starPLEASE help us fix this company's unscrupulous activities. Customers are refused refunds, there is virtually zero customer support, and they continue to auto renew accounts while providing none of the services being paid for. Th If you are an active attorney a class action lawsuit is honestly needed to fix this companies predatory behavior. If you are a customer please file an FTC complaint with the Governement, along with a BBB complaint, and negative social media reviews everywhere ************ FROM LIFEKCOK AND NORTON.Review fromDaniel S

1 starThis is a dishonest company. I tried working with them for a month to cancel my mothers subscription and get a refund since she has been unable to use a computer for over 3 years but the subscription was on auto renew. I spoke with company representatives multiple times. Each time they said a supervisor would call. They never did. I finally posted a complaint on ********. Apparently getting their attention on a public forum is the only thing they respond to. I then talked with the "escalation team" regarding my issue. They said to attach my Power of Attorney papers to an email they would send me and return it. They sent the email. I returned it with the papers. This went on for about 6 emails and 10 returns but they said they never received any return emails from me. I finally did actually get to speak to a person. She again said she would sent me an email and I should attach the paperwork. I pointed out to her that I had received 6 emails from the company and I returned them 10 times and apparently nothing ever got received at their end (I find this rather incredulous since they are an IT company). She asked me to send it via fax however I do not have a fax machine. She than suggested I mail it. I asked her for a specific address and name who I could send it attention to. She again sent another email with this information. I copied her email which contained all of the information in the email along with the power of attorney papers and mailed it out the next day. I then received multiple emails stating that they never received the mailed letter and asking if I sent it. I didn't bother answering this because, obviously, they never receive my return emails. I find all of this questionable and believe this entire thing was a run-around to see if they could get me to stop. I did stop. Mainly because I contested the charge with my credit card company and, apparently, this company doesn't mess with them. I got my full refund through the ***********Review fromsuzanne h

1 starI had canceled one of the subscriptions on the avast subscription part of the antivirus only to still be charged ****** for it , and when I called I was on hold for almost a hour . This company should be shut down in my opinion . this is not the first time they charged my bank for something that I canceled. I will give them one star but rather not give any . I never received a email about renewing subscription and I wonder how many other people they scammed money out of for a canceled subscription . DO NOT USE AVAST .Review fromM. T

1 star***************. At one time Lifelock was worthy of the subscription. They did once contact me when an unusual credit card was opened because someone stole my SS#, address, DOB... all the vital information needed in an ID theft. They contacted me and helped me clear it, and closed down those credit ********* about 8 years later a similar thing happened. But the company was taken over by Norton. The service is now worthless. I call to get help to no avail. I got an idiot at some call center in what sounded like the ***********. I could not understand a word of what he was saying. His English was a mechanical like script. I could not verify my Identity with him because he was completely unintelligible. After I demanded to speak with a supervisor, I raised my voice because he refused until my account was validated... then he accused me of using foul language. That idiot confused an angry tone with ***** words as "foul language". Yet I did not use one word of foul language. They also blocked my phone number from calling back. These people are crooks. I figure they stole at least $800 of my subscription money over a period of 5 or 6 years since Norton took over the operation. Had I needed them, all that money I paid in the past few years went to naught. I canceled my subscription and called the creditors/banks directly and resolved the problem. All the new credit applications were closed, including a freeze with all three credit bureaus.Don't waste a Penney on this Norton Lifelock. *******. They should be shut down. It's like putting the hen house under the watch of wolves,Review fromDanielle M

1 starThey are predatory in their marketing. My mother was concerned when popups said her computer was at risk (though Windows has its own antivirus). She ended up with duplicate (two charges right in a row) AVG Antivirus subscriptions as well as Secure VPN. I asked and she didn't even know what a VPN was! When I contacted AVG, they would only refund the most current (30 day) charges, even though it was obvious with the duplicates and her not knowing what a VPN is but it was marketed in such a way she bought it, then it keeps pushing so she buys two! She never had use of any of this because she didn't receive clear instructions on installing it anyway. She spent over $452.09 that was not refunded for something she never could use. AVG's popup scare tactic advertising is predatory to seniors and also less computer savvy individuals. I would like my mother refunded all her charges due to the nature of AVG's marketing.Review fromRobin S

1 starAfter an auto renewal that I did not request, I asked for a refund. Three requests for this refund and still nothing. This is very frustrating. I talked to customer service on three different occasions with no refund received.Review fromMichael C

1 starHad Norton for years for all of my family's devices but we will not be renewing once our current subscription expires. The chief complaint is that there are too many popups, and quite frankly there should only be alerts when something is wrong or there has not been a scan done recently. Norton chose to make their program send popups to the desktop, that minimize games if you are playing btw, every day. Sometimes multiple times an hour. The program that I pay good money for is nothing more than scareware now that is constantly putting out what are essentially advertisements on my desktop. I don't pay money to grant Norton permission to advertise to me, and won't be paying for that kind of treatment in the future.
