Terrible office staff do not return calls and have no respect for the patients time or convenience. Had an appointment scheduled as I was walking up to the door of the office they called me to cancel the appointment. Explained I was already at the office my appointment time was in 3 minutes. They could have cared less insisted they had to cancel and reschedule. Did not care that I had to take time off work to get there and would now need to take additional time for the rescheduled appointment no concern for my loss of wages or cost of transportation not to mention waste of my time. They office manager took seven months to get back to me only because I left messages for them weekly. They have terrible customer service and show no care for the patient . Will be looking for another Doctor even though I like the one I'm seeing here the poorly run office and lack of care is not worth the ******..

Patients should be aware that this business charges upfront for refractory lens evaluations. Then they turn around and charge insurance who will frequently pay for the exam, thereby double billing for the service. They will reimburse the patient IF the patient calls to complain, otherwise they keep the money defrauding the patient by charging them for services insurance is covering.

Do not use this practice, any of them. I had a laser procedure done post cataract surgery done elsewhere. I started in October 2023, saw the doctor then was given a date for a 2nd appt. there was a computer malfunction that took literally weeks and weeks to fix and reschedule me. I had to have an appointment to get an appointment for the procedure. No one ever calls you back. Ever. Not ever. They never disclosed to me my portion of the expenses. never. Finally got scheduled in December and found out what my portion was on day of surgery #1 (left eye), at which time I was told there would be another deductible next week for surgery #2 (right eye). I was alarmed and upset and they assured me they would look into it and call me. of course no one called. then I go back for surgery #2 and no one asks for any money, so I assume they waived it because of their s**** up. 30 days later I get a bill in the mail. I call, I write, I send them messages on their website. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE CONTACTS ME IN 60 DAYS, but I continue to get a bill in the mail.. So I send a letter addressed to a high executive in the company marked personal, and that was **************************************************** Their business practices are not just bad, but non existent.

I did submit a review on ****** and it was this "I did a Prk surgery back in June 2023, the dr I saw highly recommended it, and after that, My vision got better, but every time i visit for my follow up after a surgery, I mentioned I have been feeling sensitive in my eyes and mentioning like It might be a corneal abrasion, and every time I hear the same answer , with time it gets better and I also mention it ***** sometimes, wait till the year everything that your mentioned you will be healed and you wont have these problems anymore, here I am in July, I am supposed to be contacted for my one year follow, no one reached out to schedule it.One time I had a serious corneal abrasion and I had to go to the location in ******** to be seen and I saw the dr and she was great and helped me with my issue and right away jumped into solution plus giving medication. And I feel relieved but still that didnt solve the problem permanently, I still feel my eyes are way more sensitive and not completely healed at all.Very disappointed about this facility in **********, it feels I was talked into it, just as selling me. Not visiting a dr facility and helping me with my concerns. No one listened or even recommended giving me a medicine for it." I was asked to email for privacy reasons and they never responded to my two emails

Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center: This place is a total scam. Seems nothing was covered by insurance (a procedure that should have been covered 100%). Lots of 'extra' visits pre and post surgery, to collect more co-pays and more miscellaneous fees. (Appointment that could've happen in one visit - not spread out over 5 separate visits).1st Cataract surgery was botched - leaving me with a huge issue in my eye. A 2nd surgery was required to correct that WAS NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE AND HAD TO PAY FOR THE ENTIRE 2nd SURGERY OUT OF POCKET. A mistake they made.Post surgery - I was continuously invoiced by their billing department - items that should have been covered by insurance. After FORCING them to talk to my insurance company directly, they admitted they were too busy too handle the situation. My insurance FINALLY got them to drop the excessive charges - after multiply attempts. This company prays on elder patients and is a humongous scam. Shame of them and the medical insurance condition in general.

My boyfriend is a patient with **************** and always received great care in the ************ **************** found blood leakage in one eye and moved us onto surgeons as boyfriend also needs cataract surgery. So we set down with scheduler and find both surgeries to be done within the month! **** home to reschedule his dialysis appointments around these then find first appointment canceled due to no referral, thank goodness they got it covered at the next appointment we had. We were to have 2 rxs eye drops for the appointment but after calling 4 times to get rxs sent, we only received 1. We were told they would call in the other one yet 3 days later still nothing. I am so uneasy about the ******* us along but then dropping of responsibility, lack of care, and the inability to call the offices directly that I am about to cancel it all and seek other eye specialists. What if they drop responsibility while doing his surgery? This company needs to slow their pace, quit herding people through, so they can truly take care of the patient. Praying that this all turns out good but so concerned about the lack of responsibility, care, and availability of contact.

Local office charged my ex for contact exam. Then billing charged my insurance company. I bought contacts at ****** sent to my insurance for reimbursement, they sent me a check for 65. I called and asked my insurance company where us the rest of my 150 credit for contacts and they sent it to barnett. I have been calling since December 2023. Billing was going to mail check, never happened. They credited my ex card. That he doesn't pay for the insurance nor helped with the contacts or glasses that cost me almost 600. Today I called billing again and got called a liar I had never called before. But local office has records of me calling. Told to bad. Then in reviewing they over charged me in 2022 and owe me 75... but I can't get the 85 that they sent to dead beat ex even though I hold my kids insurance. Crooks charging up front then hit insurance company so I can't get my help with contact reimbursement. Called liar!

I had glasses made by them with their Rx, the glasses were made wrong and I saw double with them. The Doctor agreed that I should get a refund. I have been waiting for 7 weeks now for the refund. This is BAD BUSINESS! I use to work for these people, and now this is how I get treated!I want me refund back today!

Not thrilled with this clinic at all! My appointment was for stitches to be removed. I didn't realize that the technician was going to do an eye exam, as well. I told her that I didn't have my glasses and she ignored me. I went on to say that I had my prescription sun glasses that I could use and was ignored. I took the eye test with no glasses. She then handed me a a plastic thing with a hole in it to hold over each eye and then said to move it to the right. When I hesitated, she sarcastically enunciated her words and finally took it out out of my hands and did it herself. I told her that I didn't realize that it had a moving part. She was irritated and acted like I was an invisible old lady with dementia. She would be better suited to work at Dutch Brothers.

Waited over 1 1/2 hours from on appt time for a 2 minute eye pressure test. They changed my rx to a compounding pharmacy. The pharmacy then changed the rx without telling anyone. The rx didn't work so now I'm getting yet another rx. Then return in a month for recheck. Each visit is a $75 copay for horrible service.
