RE: Truck Purchase Issue I provided a $10,000.00 down payment per salesman request.The cashiers check was issued and delivered on 08/09/2023 for order _______ in the amount of $10,000.00, as requested.Over a six-month period, I have spoken with salesman no less than a dozen times. We talked about the status of the truck being built and spoke about several other things I wanted to ensure the truck was equipped with. (adding a bed ********, tool box, and floor mount for my computer, etcetera.)Next, salesman called and wanted jacket sizes for myself and my wife and advised that I could pick up the truck the next day, but I had to call finance. Finance said bring down an additional 50K and I could have the truck. When I said that was never disclosed when I gave my deposit. Finance said I had been rejected by 3 or 4 other lenders. These denials were not previously communicated to me at any time. Total lack of communication.01/22/2024 I received a lease agreement in DocuSign. NOT A PURCHASE AGREEMENT! The lease stated I would relinquish my rights to a jury trial. Besides paying almost three times the value of the truck with the buyout. The lease was unacceptable, and I refused to sign.I called the salesman and he said they were going to keep my deposit until the truck sold.No other purchase contracts were offered.02/12/2024 I went to sales office and asked him to show me in my original documents where it states freightliner gets to keep my deposit until the truck sells. He declined to show me. Then He proceeded to tell me the deposit was nonrefundable. I said he had never mentioned that! If he had I would have never given him the deposit in the first place. It does not say nonrefundable deposit anywhere in the document. He proceeded to say it was verbal. I said so now its my word agents yours! Where did honesty and integrity go!Due to the circumstances outlined above, I expect my full $10,000.00 deposit to be returned to me immediately!
