    In January 2024 I received a bill in the amount of $136 from Rita Ranch Dental for 100% Covered Services from March 2023. I called and spoke with Stephanie on 2/5/24, who stated that they were having a billing issue because I needed to update my Coordination of Benefits (COB) with my primary care provider. I immediately called Blue Cross Blue Shield and updated my COB and called Rita Ranch Dental back and provided them with Reference # 00486203 so they could resubmit. After receiving another bill at the beginning of March, I called their office on 3/9/24 and was told they would let the person know that the problem persisted. On 3/12/24 I received a strange bill showing that insurance paid the balance on 2/9/24 after providing them with the updated COB reference number but that I still owed them $136. On 3/13/24 I received a letter from a collection agency for $136. I spoke with Veronica at Rita Ranch Dental on 3/14/24, who confirmed my previous interaction with Stephanie but could not resolve the problem.

    ******* *******, the Office Manager over-charged me on my recent visit to their office. Also,, an employee named ***** ****** lied to me. I asked them to tell me in advance how much money the procedure will cost. They said fine when I showed them my Insurance Discount Plan-Carrington 500 & the amounts that corresponds to 1. Simple tooth extraction; 2. Filing replacement; teeth cleaning and exams/x-rays. They charged me $562 for these procedures when the Carrington 500 Plan indicates a charge of $202. Megan lied to me on the last visit as I asked her how much I should pay and they said $68 which I paid and then 2 weeks later I got a bill for $160????? For what? The filling cost $228. Outrageous.
