I visited Platinum Fitness on Dec.11 and spoke with Chris, who claimed to be the manager. Chris said I have two debit cards on my account, stating he would remove the second card, which incurred a monthly charge of $56.44. They are supposed to bill me $28.22 times 2, which would total up to $336 for the amount of months I have been a member. They have charged me $796.94 in total. Chris refused to help further and advised me to contact **************. I requested the cessation of money withdrawals from my debit cards. I was charged $45.72 on 12/12 and my son was charged $15 and $40.72 in 10/2023 and 08/2023. I made two unanswered calls to the 1(800) number and received a callback the next day. I questioned her about the overpayments. She stated they would not refund any money and I still owe them money for my gym memberships and all she could do was keep one card on file then hung up on me. They contacted me on 12/21 to collect payment for December. They had already charged my two accounts for a combined $91.44. They repeated that I owe money and will draft my Wells Fargo card. I visited in-person again on 12/28 with Chris and a female employee, who refused to identify herself. They stated that it drafts to the other card if there are not enough funds and to contact their 1(800) number. They withdrew $28.22 again on 12/28. On 1/2/2024 I was contacted again. The agent told me that I owe them $121.96 for December and are going to withdraw it from the Wells Fargo debit card. They have taken 196.10 in the month of December from my Pyramid debit card and $45.72 from the Wells Fargo debit card. I told the agent that I was withdrawing my permission to withdraw any money. I have attempted to find other higher contacts for this company, but there is no further information.
