2 week Farrier Course
-The course is designed as an introduction to horseshoeing and is perfect for the hobbyist or person who wants to shoe his or her own horses. It will provide the student with enough information to shoe on a part-time basis, while maintaining his/her present employment.
4 week Farrier Course
-This is a very basic course for horse owners interested in maintaining the health of their own horses through balanced hooves and shoeing or for individuals who wish to have a part-time business.
6 week Farrier Course
-This will provide you with the basics for beginning a successful farrier business prepare you with what you will need to serve the horse industry.
8 week Farrier Course
-This course is designed for people who are interested in horseshoeing as a career and provides the experience that students need to feel competent and confident about starting a shoeing business. Graduating from this course you will have the you with the technical and business skills to start and run a successful farrier business. At the completion of the course student may request a written test for advanced farrier certification by the American Farrier Association or Brotherhood of Working Farriers Association (BWFA)
12 week Farrier Course
-This twelve week horseshoeing course is intended for the person who is interested in pursuing a career in horseshoeing. This course will teach you everything you can learn in horseshoeing school. At the completion of the course student may request a written test for advanced farrier certification by the American Farrier Association or Brotherhood of Working Farriers Association (BWFA)
16 week Farrier Course
-This is an advanced four month farrier course that includes all the basic skills taught in our other course and also includes learning how to help horse overcome injury. You will have the opportunity to shoe A LOT more horses and do more forage work.
20 week Farrier Course
-This is an advanced five month farrier course that includes all the basic skills taught in our other course but includes learning how to handle and shoe Draft Horses. Tapping into the draft horse market can be rewarding but shoeing the draft horse as a working animal requires to learn different techniques.
