I purchased this vehicle in may of 2023 I was promised a full length warranty that matched the one offered by Kia. I was told the bank wouldn’t let them sell me a car that was over priced however a car that was worth $14,000 sold to me for $18,000 then hid the fact they also added $6000 in fees. I didn’t even know the out the door price cause they wanted to push me in and out as fast as they could to take advantage of me. I was in a hard situation and needed a car very badly so the way they advertised themselves was that they were here to help people not ruin them for the next 6 years paying after interest $44,000 for a car that’s now not even worth $10000. It isn’t simple depreciation. It was wrong and unfair what they did to me. Any attempts I made to get repairs from warranty I never got calls back, I got phone calls from Kia offering me an extended warranty because the one I was promised was never true. I just want either the portion of the loan for this car made right or the dealer to purchase this car off me. I’ve sat and waited hoping to pay it down quickly to use the credit boost to get into a better loan but that’s not gonna be possible for 2 years and I can’t even insure the vehicle because of the type of car having high theft rate.Business Response

Purchased a vehicle from Premier Auto Center on 3 May 2023. Also purchased an extended warranty for $2500 for 24 months coverage. On 15 Nov 2023 the vehicle began to sputter and run very rough. It finally quit running and would not restart. On Thursday morning, it started and was taken to Jim Click Ford for diagnostic and repair. That same day the service advisor called to get approval for repairs and was told that we must take the vehicle to Premier Auto's preferred repair shop. Today, I called the warranty provider and was told I had to take it to either Grace Auto Repair or Brake Master, both located near Oracle and Ina roads. This is about 20 miles in a vehicle that may or may not make it there. At no time during the sales process was I told that we had to take the vehicle for warranty repairs to their preferred shop rather than any shop of our choice. I feel this is an unfair business practice and the lack of information was deceitful. Today, when I called Brake Masters to have the vehicle repairs, I was told that they (Brake Masters) no longer did work for Premier, that they now had their own shop and we needed to take it to that shop. Had all this info been revealed, my decision to purchase from Premier Auto Center may have been very different.Business Response

If they read the contract under "What to do if repairs are needed" it states:
"If your vehicle is within 40 miles of the selling dealer, you must deliver your vehicle to the selling dealer at the address provided". We sell thousands and thousands of vehicles each year so we must train our Finance people all the same. That part of offering an extended warranty is part of the process. Whether he/she said that and the customer did or didn't hear that will be hard to prove. But it is 100% of our Process that we talk about the Tie Back process. The other reason for using our service department, like any other Insurance product, we have better rates that help the Insurance company. But even better, our technicians know the vehicle that was sold, because more than likely, they did the initial 166 point inspection. We have 2 locations in Tucson:
**** * *** (was formerly Grace Auto, now is Premier Auto Service Center) I will get that updated in Portfolio's notes.
**** * ****** ** ** ******* This is newly acquired. We have 11 service bays and all ASE certified mechanics! Ask for Cliff or David *************
If you want a refund, you would need to call the dealership on Wetmore and ask for Finance. They will Pro-rate the amount for however long you've had the vehicle. Keep in mind, if you financed, it is taken off the amount financed to the bank, but your payment stays the same. So you will not have coverage at the same payment. If you would like to call one of those service departments, we can make arrangements to get the vehicle brought to our shop.

11/6/2024 faulty vehicle tires shocks, dervice and too much ti mention. I wish this company would just take responsibility if this vehicle they sold I gave had it 2 months ND its been a feath trap almost. I was I. Accident after replacing tires that they said were brand new. Yes I looked apparently nit good enough in the 10 hrs that I was there. I now understand why I was only allowed to drive two blocks to test. I asked why we couldn't take on freeway she said we just don't allow that. I looked up safety features and amazing responses etc. So last night I'm driving with my grandson and was I. Accident every time I hit tiniest bump, mind you 80 miles a hour in freeway my steering and whole car shook almost like wanted to lose control. Well eventually it did and I was doing 65 cause uts scared me and grandchild. Well luckily we r okay but th officer's and shop said shocks were so corroded and old that they were far from passing any sort of Inspection. Everyone I call I get voice-mail and ir a herk fir a inspector that says nit our problem he was a idiot who admitted to doing Inspection. Well he dis terrible and had no remorse said there is no way anyone told ne new tires brand new 3 people said it. It's a 4 year old car. It's highest in safety. Well they did not report anything because I have fordpass and there is no record of anything on that Vin number even oil changes nothing. Mind you I should have checked harder taken mire intuitive on my part. But they also should take responsibility if there negligence and ignorance of people's lives not just tgere sales commissions. Your messing w luckily es I. A vehicle. Do not buy from them there a rip-off and I won't stop until inget at least a apology.Business Response

I purchased a 2017 Chevy Bolt about a month ago. My first problem came when I was contacted by your company's title and registration people. They sqid the vehicle failed emissions and I would need to get that done. 1st, why would they sell a car that did not pass emissions test? 2nd, it's an all electric car, so it doesn't need emissions. They said they fixed it and that my plate would be on the way. Well my temporary registration is up today, I was told the location u purchased from was shut down. I live in buckeye and was told I had to drive to Gilbert location and they would get me a temporary plate again. When I arrived I was told that they would not. That I would just have to wait until the permanent plate arrives. Yesterday I had an alert that Mt tire was low on air. I went to Discount tire for air and was told 3 of the tires needed to be replaced immediately that the tread was extremely low. When I asked I was told the Gilbert location would help me. Again. They did not. I was told my warranty did not cover tires. I am going to have to spend hundreds of dollars to replace 3 tires after owning the car for only a month. That is dangerous and sketchy business practices. No one seems to want to correct even the mistake the company made with the plates.Customer Answer

Good day, In Sept 2021 we bought a Honda Civic from Premier Auto Sales in Tucson Az. With the purchase of the car we bought a GAP insurance with the purchase of the car. All was satsificatory with the purchase of the car. On July 7 2023 the car was in a vehicle collision and the car was totaled. Our personal insurance paid out for the car with in the month. We filed with the gap insurance, Classic Trak for the difference. That claim was denied in September, we followed the request of sumbitting paperwork and we had to make many calls to Classic Trak for any information. September 2023 we were advised that Classic Trak would be sending Premier Auto our refund of 621.59, this is a prorated amount of the original purchase price. We have been in touch with Premier Auto sales multiple times and no one can give us a answer of the refund. We were advised by the finance department of Premier Auto Sales on 10/11/23 that he saw the refund was being issued and it would be sent to our bank account. As of 10/23 a refund is not issued and we have called and when we ask for assistance needed we get sent to a VM that is full. I did recieve a call back and still no answer about the refund owed, just some one who takes a message and advised we will be contacted back. Our main issue is the Gap coverage provided by Classic Trak did not cover what was suppposed to be covered and now no one can seem to help with the refund that has been promised. Thank youBusiness Response

Mrs ******** purchase the Buick Encore Dec of 22. This is the first we’ve heard of anything. All of our vehicles get a 166 point inspection and a free, 3 month / 3000 mile warranty. She says in May of 2023, she notice the oil leak and had to add 5 quarts. She goes to a tire shop and they say it needs 2 tires. Of course they would tell her that, it what they do.
After 9 months, she is out of any warranty we gave her and she did not purchase an extended warranty. It’s a 2017 with 59k miles.
General Motors recommends changing oil and filter at 7500 miles or every 6 months. Whichever is first. She did not do that either. She waited 9 months and now has an oil leak. We gave her a free diagnosis ($149) and a discounted price. Whether she does that, is up to her.
I asked her why she didn’t contact us in May (5 months after purchase!) we possibly could’ve caught the issue. She made it worse by ignoring it. Her excuse was she lived in Sahuarita and was nervous to drive it. Again, we could’ve made arrangements.
No dealership in the world is going to fix a repair 9 months later when they were never notified. I feel this BBB complaint is a tactic to get us to fix and pay for the repair. I would like the whole complaint, stricken from the record as we did nothing wrong and 9 months later, not changing oil after 6 months and not allowing us to look at it MUCH earlier.
Thanks***** *****

On 8-28-23 I signed papers for a used car that has mechanical issues the engine or transmission was not performing correctly it idled very high it would rev extremely high before switching gears and sounded strange when running. This issue not being immediate or happens after a few minute La of driving so I highly suspect the engine or transmission has some kind of issue. Also the AC was not working correctly it barely blew any air and could barely cool the car after 20 minutes of it being on. I then decided the only thing I can do is take this back for fear that this is going to become an issue sometime soon I have bad credit so I have an extremely high interest rate my fault no one else’s. But I definitely can not afford a a vehicle that in the long run can only hurt my credit. They refused to accept it back did not receive any kind of fair treatment after that definitely don’t trust them to fix it. Especially if it’s a potential constant major issue. I called the lender and tried to tell them I want to back out of the loan and they said it is to late so I told them I won’t be driving it anymore then took back to Premiere Auto Center and left it their as far as I understand the lemon law ends after 500 miles or 15 days I did not want it in my possession or driven so I took it back as of 9-5-23 at 4:pm I was also told in that I signed something that prohibited me from returning it but I don’t have that paperwork so I suspect I wasn’t given all my paperwork when it was dropped off at my apartment 8-29-23 I can provide documentation that I have when no home computer so I can send more info when readyBusiness Response

Let me state the rest of the story that Mr. Hendricks is not providing. He told the sales person the a/c isn't cold, we promptly told him we apologize we will have the service department look at it right away. He told the sales person he didn't want it because he found a better deal else where. This is a few days after he signed all of the legal binding contracts the state of az requires.
He came down to the dealership and threw the keys at the sales person and walked away. The store manager, Chris followed and was wanting to see what the issue was. Mr. Hendricks finally stopped, after 10 minutes of Super Agressive Cussing at Chris, he still never said what was wrong and that Mr. Hendricks would get the last word. Chris said he had to walk away because he's never been told to "F-Off" as many times as Mr.Hendricks said it! He merely has BUYERS REMORSE. As we know, that is not a reason to return a car!
We did our due diligence and test drove the car. ICE COLD A/C..NO CHECK ENGINE light on, TRANSMISSION shifts perfect, ENGINE runs great. Car is perfect. We sent to our service department where Certified mechanics looked at it. They gave it a clean bill of health. As with every vehicle we sell, it goes through a 166 point inspection and has a 3 month/3000 mile warranty. If anything were to happen, he's covered under that time frame.
We will be returning Mr. Hendricks HIS vehicle today. What he chooses to do after that, is on him. Even though Mr.Hendricks lashed out the most explicit cursing tirade at Chris and the salesperson, we are happy to help him in the future.
The only thing we ask is this BBB complaint be removed as it is an act for Mr. Hendricks to relieve his Buyers Remorse. Frivolous complaints only hurt small businesses and merit no truth to what happened. Thank you and best regards!

The dealership is charging me $25,909 dollars for a 2019 Chevy Malibu. This car is not even close to being worth that much which I didnt know until I went to my bank to try and Refi. A brand new 2024 Malibu is $26,000. I was in desperate need of a car and I feel like I was taken advantage of. There is no way I should be paying this much for this car when a brand new one with no miles on it is only a $1000 more. Uploaded docs to prove this as well.Business Response
Date: 08/24/2023
Sorry Jesse feels that way. Every dealership is at the mercy of what the bank will finance due to Kelly Blue Book and according to people’s credit. We cannot overcharge for a car, simply because the bank will not approve that. In Jesse’s case, we were well within bank guidelines for the value of that car at time of sale. If Jesse didn’t like the price at that time, he shouldn’t have signed the contract.
It also depends on how much money at time of sale that Jesse put down to offset any taxes, license or any other fees. Jesse put zero dollars down ! He carried over $2100 dollars in fees at that time. It also depends on how many miles he has put on since May that will affect the value. Like any depreciating asset, the market can go up or down. Besides that, he’s only had the car 4 months ! We recommend refinancing way longer than that 12 to 18 to 24 months after purchase
We feel that Jesse got a more than fair deal or he, or the bank, wouldn’t have approved the loan. I think BBB should remove this frivolous complaint. Premier Auto was more than fair.

Purchased a car here and overpaid for the car because it has the lifetime maintenance. Went to go use my plan today and was told after arriving to the service center that it wouldn’t work any longer. I paid for lifetime and that’s clearly not what I’ve been given. Tried calling premier to talk to the manager and was told they are out on lunch and nobody else was able to assist. Waste of gas, time, and money. If you’re not going to honor what you sold you need to be held accountable.Business Response

****** is correct, when the pandemic hit we had to cancel a few items. Maintenance for life (M.F.L.) was one of them. Unfortunately, there is no refund available, because we offered it for FREE. There was no cost associated with the M.F.L. Every customer signs a form that notates it's a FREE product and can be dismissed at any time. The company that we teamed up with, was MPG and they have since sold.
I am happy to announce that we have 2 Premier Auto Service shops we have opened up since she ****** purchase 4 years ago. We can offer a 20% discount on any oil change. Use code #BBB and they will automatically deduct that for you.Wishing you many miles of smiles!

First and foremost the cars are priced accordingly because of the options that are “free” there’s nobody that would over pay for the vehicle if it’s not including the said maintenance for life plan. Furthermore I’m a male and I’d appreciate if I could be addressed as such rather than she and if you could just use some common decency and spell my name correctly that would go a long way. Sham of a business you guys are running there. 20% off of an overpriced oil change that’s 40 minutes away from my house makes sense how? What a waste of time, I’m sure all this employee did was check the box and send this email so he could say he “did his job” sorry to tell you that ripping off customers doesn’t keep you in business.

Financed a used vehicle 2018 Ford escape through this dealership. Included is a 3 month or 3000 mile warranty. I get ignored never get a call back. Have to drive to the dealership to get anything done I have had multiple problems with this vehicle. And want another vehicle.Business Response

Correcty, there was an issue with his Ford Escape, we ended up having to send to Ford Motor to get fixed and even gave him a free rental car. There are text messages to prove that we have always been in contact with him. His Small issue now is the brakes squeak and another minor issue totally out of Premier auto's control. We have been nothing but accommodating to get the escape fixed, so I'm truly surprised he resorted to writing a BBB complaint.Business Response

He has an appointment next week. We are well within the Express limited warranty that the State of AZ requires. In fact, it's ten times better than most car dealers. He has signed a written contract that he's liable for and we are fixing items that are not necessarily a part of the warranty. Most dealers would not even do that. We are in a world that people go behind a keyboard and think they can bully business' into stuff. We have been more than fair with him and will continue to be fair.Customer Answer
