11/17/2021 - Pool inspection we had done when we bought the house. It shows #8 that the solar was in working condition just prior to the plastering. 12/6/2021 - Employee (R) came to give us a quote on plastering the pool and doing some plumbing work, install new pump. We talked about covering over the pop ups on the pool. Employee (R) informed us that most people cover their pop-ups and use a creepy crawler for cleaning the pool. He said that it would not cause any problems and be more economical. 12/23/2021 - They started work on the pool. Communication was not great. They had ordered the wrong tile, but we were able to notice it before they started and that problem was resolved. 1/7/2021 - Pool was completed and Employee (R) came to pick up the rest of the payment. He assured us that everything was working fine at this point. 3/25/01 - The weather is warm enough to start the solar heating and swim. We turn it on and nothing is working. We call Employee (R) and ask what is going on. He said not to worry, it is probably just a switch that needs to be turned, but if something needs to be replumbed then he will take care of it. He said again not to stress. 3/28/2021 - Backyard pools sent out a technician (H) to check out the pool solar. He said the bottom pop-ups were the way the solar water went into the pool and now that they are covered the solar will not work. He said it needed to be plumbed into the main pool pump for it to work. He said he would contact Employee (R) and get back to us. From this point onward we have not received a response from either Employee (R) or the Owner (S). We call and leave messages and we also text. They completely ignore us. It is very frustrating and not a way to treat customers. 4/8/2021 - We contacted Trident Plumbing and they came out and gave us an estimate on fixing the problems created by Backyard Pools. The cost to repair is $445.00.
