      Business Response

      Date: 12/13/2023

      To whom it may concern;

I was in receipt of an email that was sent over to me on 11/28/23, regarding ********************

I have been in and out of the office on a personal family matter, since 11/29/23, and as such, I was not able to respond till now.

I will address each item as listed.

****** 2018 Dodge was here over 3 months.  The vehicle had extensive damage, and the $5696.54 damage report that ***** received from State Farm, was based only on photos of the vehicle, the final invoice was $11,424.57.

We had to begin by doing a teardown, on 7/20/23 and assess all the damage, that damage had to be documented, and documentation had to be sent over to the ***************** for approval on 7/27/23.Approval came back on 8/8/23.

An original parts order was put in with Dodge, we needed to replace the left rear quarter, among lots of other parts and because of original design errors you could only use a new panel.

We were informed that the quarter panel was on National Back Order, with no specific date for release. **** immediately started calling around to see if anyone might have one in stock. There were none.

You cannot use a used one, as the factory made a design flaw and never designed them with any weld tabs, so it is impossible to fasten it to the car.

In the meantime we did start on the cars suspension work, and anything else that we could do while waiting for the quarter. ***** was in constant touch with us and at one point, he even tried to see if he could find one.

After we finally delivered ****** car on 10/02/23. ***** did get ahold of **** on 10/26/23 about the issues he was having, **** asked him to bring it in so we can take care of whatever they are.

***** made an appointment for 11/21/23, but was unable to show up. He rescheduled for 11/28/23.

When ***** arrived, there were several people in the office. *** told him that she would be with him in a few minutes. Once she was done with the tow truck driver , she let him know that she would get *********

**** was out in the shop writing up some paperwork and it took him a few minutes to get in. *** said that he appeared to be getting upset that he was waiting.

When **** got in the office, he and ***** went out front to see what the problems were. **** told him that we could adjust the door and trunk. As far as the alignment goes, and the fuel leak.

We needed to take it to the mechanical shop, and get these checked to see what is going on. It was than that ***** appeared to start getting upset.

**** was trying to explain that we have to find out what is wrong, and if it is anything that is accident related, we have to contact the insurance company, for their approval, and also request a rental car.

**** walked away to go get a copy of the original alignment specs for ***********

It was at this point that ***** started up on an employee, who was working on putting in an interlock system in a vehicle. He wasnt even outside, but in the front bay working.

Apparently when our employee went to get some wiring from his counter, ***** said he looked at him wrong, and started a verbal confrontation.

We did have several people in the office, who looked out to see what was going on. Plus there was an insurance adjuster sitting in his car that saw the whole thing.

It took **** the whole day of going back and forth with both the mechanical shop and the insurance company, to get them an estimate on the additional work,. We sent our tow truck over to ****** to bring the car back in.

And we got the insurance to deliver a rental to *****. The insurance company would not okay a new fuel pump for the right side or a new camber link on the right side.

The work was completed on 12/7/23.

We have several pages of dated notes in regards to all of this.
