      I contacted Martin's Motorcycle Specialties and explained my *** issues. So the owner came out and started my *** and told me he knew exactly what the issue was and he could repair it. He put my Polaris *** on a trailer and brought it to his shop for repairs. Six days later the shop called and notified me the *** repairs were completed and that I could pick it up. I paid the invoice price of $386.36 and loaded my *** into my pickup truck bed and brought it home. Later that day,I took it for a test drive where the *** stalled and I could not get it restarted. I had to have it towed back home. I called the repair shop and explained what happened and two days later the owner and a mechanic showed up. I was told that the fuel pump was bad and needed to be replaced. I explained to the him that I wasn't going to pay for another repair, a repair that should have originally been diagnosed correctly and fixed. With that, he got in his truck and drove off. This is what I know to be true.... I now had a Polaris *** that originally went to the shop running ..... would not stay running anymore. Also, it had a squeak coming from under the clutch cover where the drive belt was replaced. I had to install a new fuel pump in order to correct the problem of the *** not staying running. In addition, I also discovered that his shop replaced the drive belt with the wrong part for my model Polaris *** and that was causing the squeak. I verified this using the number printed on the drive belt he used with both Polaris and the Belt Manufacturer of the replacement part he used. So I also ended up having to buy the Correct drive belt and install it. I believe I was charged for a Misdiagnosed Repair and also the the Cost and Installation of a Wrong Part.
