    I purchased a brand new 2020 Jeep Renegade on Nov 2020. April 2023, engine suddenly seized while I was driving. No check engine light, no indicators whatsoever. Vehicle gets towed to the ******* dealership and after some time, they tell me that my engine seized. They said the vehicle was still under warranty and filed a warranty claim. They did, however, red flag an oil change that had just been done at the local ******** so they told me that Jeep was refusing to cover based on that. So they told me I needed to file a claim with ******** which I did. ********* third party reviewed cameras of the day the oil change was performed and found no wrong doing from the techs. The vehicle had a full amount of oil getting there and when it left, as the vehicle had oil when it got to the dealership as well. I went back to the dealer and sent them the letter from ******* claims and asked them to file another claim. I had to do it myself directly with **** because they kept giving me the run around. After speaking to *************, they told me they had to go with the dealerships recommendation, which was that the vehicle seized due to an outside source. All assumptions ofcourse. After doing my homework, I found numerous settlements throughout the country with Jeep due to the same issues with their Renegade's engine issue, oil consumption and no indicators to give a heads up to driver. Not only have they been trying to not cover my engine repair or replacement, but their customer service has been the poorest I've ever experienced in my life. Thank you for your time.
