      On June 11th we inquired with BookitBusiness for assistance on business/first international flights for 3 parties with one in-cabin pet. On June 14th we were given flight options with confirmation in- cabin pet was allowed on said airline (American Airlines). On June 16th we confirmed that we would like the airline tickets. We paid $10,725 for the three passenger tickets with details stating that the in cabin pet would be $125 paid at a later date. On June 17th we received confirmation of tickets.On July 1st we reached out to BookitBusiness after finding out from AA that they do not allow in cabin pets on their planes. On July 1st BookitBusiness responded asking if we had details on why the in-cabin pet was not allowed.On July 4th we reached out again stating that the airline does not allow any in cabin pets throughout the plane and inquired what our next steps could be.On July 5th the BookitBusiness told us the only option we had was to cancel flights and pay $550 per passenger to rebook another airline On July 6th we reached out stating that our departure city did not have to be the same we would be willing to change departure city to find a flight that allowed in cabin pets.At this time no solution for another flight was given nor recommendation on who allows in-cabin pets. The basis of the issue is that BookitBusiness made a mistake and misrepresented us relating to in cabin pets. The business has done nothing to resolve the problem without substantial additional cost to us.

      Additional information..

      In speaking with American Airlines customer service department, we were told that the mandatory change fee of $550.00 per passenger (3)  is not an American Airlines fee but a fee imposed by Bookitbuisness. 

       

      Bootitbusiness has shown no willingness to negotiate or resolve this issue in any way.

      A complaint has been resolved with a client. Clients were ******** on a different airline that allows dogs in the cabin.

      I am rejecting this response because:Issue was resolved at a great deal of additional expense to us.  This is a family trip.  Unfortunately, we are not traveling together - we are traveling from ********* and our daughter is traveling from *****.  We are traveling with a small dog.  We arranged airfare from BookItBusiness for the three of us with the assurance that we could travel with our dog only to find out that carry on pets are not permitted on the flights originally booked.  Therefore our daughter is traveling from ***** to ***** on a light that allows in cabin pets at substantial cost and penalty to us.  This issue was resolved but not to our satisfaction.
