Purchased 2012 GMC Acadia with a 6 month a warranty. Upon getting back home (3 hours away) a noise started getting worse. Took it in and found out the motor is blown, and the air bag system has been tampered with. The oil was over filled and low oil pressure. Then found out that the motor had just been just replaced prior to them selling it to me. Also has metal screws placed in air flow tubes coming off the motor. These people were found through car fax and there was no mention of the motor being changed or that the tires are from 2012.. one shop wasn't going to let us take it as it's that dangerous. I have been trying to get the dealer ship to honor what they said, about any problems they would take care of it or the warranty they sold me would. Apparently the Auto repair shop they had me drop off the car at is the one to have put thar motor in it. Which really scares me.. now I am trying to figure out how to get help to get money or another vehicle, or motor in it. Have not had the *** for over a week already. This vehicle has been driving a single mother with 5 kids in it prior to finding this information out.. please help.Initial Complaint

Hi my name is *********************** and *** had this issue since when I got the vehicle which was May 4, 2023. When I got the vehicle I was excited because due to my credit I wasnt able to qualify for any car until I went to Palladium Autos. Everything was going well ***** , *** and **** were very helpful until when I got my car I saw it didnt have gas so we had to make a quick stop to the gas station, when my son got on the car seat belts didnt work , the back windows didnt roll down. One of the doors doesnt open from the outside. I get it was a used car. Also when it came down to the insurance ***** told me get insurance on the car but according to contract it says to just put regular insurance so I did that same week I got insurance. Later within months she messages me and tells that my car hasnt gotten full coverage insurance! I replied and said well you told me to get regular insurance shes like no I told you get full coverage. So we went at it back and forth and told me if you dont get insurance by the end of 09/30 I will repo your car . On my down payment I put $2,500. Every month I had to pay $360 but sometimes I would pay $720 until now that I lost my job and didnt have enough to pay for this month. May I paid $2,500 June I paid $360 July $720 August $360 September I havent made the payment yet.Initial Complaint

on 4/16/2022 i went in to palladium Auto to get a car that was listed on web for **** i called and sked thy side yes i tolde that i had **** ***** we were goning to sigen afer i ********************* the money but an older man come to get the money and wisspeird someyhing to ***** and she ask me for more money 500 for a ********************* payement i gave her 250 she also tolde me to by the retuern plices for 500 more shes saide u have ******************************************************************************************************************************************* closeing cost t he only number were 250 a month i get home my hubby tells me well how much did it co e out totel i said thats a good qustion i looked i couldent beleve i was geting chared twices as much so i cslled on 4/17/2022 she didnt answere so i left a message telling her i was not going to keep the car couse i never agrred to pay that much for a car i had almost paid off all she said was sorry u signd the contract there nothing we can do i called back and than a few days after driving the car differnt lights came on on the dash bord oil srs melfuction a few more my hubby clled and also spoke to ****** but none of her boss would call not in taill the first came around and thy winted the payment and the car had a ***** oil leak that had been there for monthes one of the hoes was borken on contract ***** i got tell the 10th after that iwill be carged 5% late charges thy repoed the car on may 8 i had 2 days to make payment now thy r asking **** somthing for the car and **** sometinhg for repo i didnt even have the car for 3 weeks thy dont wont to give me my money or car plz help meBusiness Response

This customer came to our dealership on 04/16/2022 to purchase the 2009 ************* C-class for the price of ****. plus taxes, dmv and 3 year warranty.The manager was present that day when all the fees were explained to the customer along with the monthly fees and the down payment. The customer was at the dealership for about 2 hours and Palladium employees were there answering all her questions and explaining the contract to the customer who agreed to sign.We did give her the option to purchase a contract cancellation option which the customer declined to buy because she stated she wanted to keep the car and she didn't need that option.Days later she contacted us stating that she didn't want to continue paying because the car had major issues and wasn't drivable. We proceeded to check the location and history of the car. She was driving the car everywhere without any issues. She also stated that her husband didn't like the vehicle and wanted to cancel everything. The customer refused to answer our calls for days and said she wasn't going to continue paying allegedly because the car wasn't working. We can provide the gps history, the images of the messages along with all the calls we did to her.The manager of Palladium tried contacting her many times but she never answered.The customer didn't have insurance in the vehicle and due to her poor credit history and her unwillingness to cooperate or answer to the manager and the past due amount at that time we repo the vehicle.After the repossession we mentioned to her that she had to pay the repo fees and past due amount but she refused to come to an agreement.Let me know if there is anything else you would like to know and if you need I could provide a copy of the contract, messages from her and gps history.Thank youPalladium AutosCustomer Answer
