On September 16, 2024 I ordered new garage doors for my house. The total cost was $9220.00, I put a $1000 deposit. On October 16, 2024 Precision Garage door came out to install the new garage doors. I paid them the remaining balance of $8220.00. I inspected my garage after the technician left and found extensive damage to the drywall. After the technician left I found out that the technician (*******) did not have a stud finder and started drilling 1/2" diameter holes looking for a stud to attach the door support hardware on the ceiling. There were 16 holes with some of them several inches long because he used the 1/2" drill bit to carve a slot in the drywall looking for a stud. There was extensive damage done. I have pictures of the damage. Immediately after he left I started having issues with the doors not closing and they made very bad noises. In order to close the door we had to use the emergency release. The technician also used our ladder to do the work and broke our ladder. I called Precision to have a technician come out to repair the doors, I asked for someone else other than ******* to come out. The next appointment (#2 of 6) was scheduled for Oct 18. The appointment time was for 1230 with a four hour window. After no one showed after four hours I called Precision. The said they would have management call me. Never received a call and no one ever showed up. At this point I put a stop payment on the check I wrote for the remaining balance of $8220.00.Ultimately I have gone through 6 appointments (each time I have to empty my garage). I'm still missing parts and they will not return my call. I have called them multiple times. The last time was January 17, 2025. I want to come to an equitable agreement on the cost based on all the issues and damage done, have the remaining work completed and pay the remaining adjusted balance.Initial Complaint

I had a technician come in and replace parts on the inside of my garage door. Unfortunately that job was not done. Good theres unsafe issues to my garage door. I called three times. I have not gotten a response back from this company. I asked to speak to supervisors I have not received a call back yet. I cannot have access to come in and out of my garage. I have to leave my car out in the hot sun. Im also afraid of my family or pets that go in the garage that the cable snaps Im very disappointed. I paid that company over $1000for some parts and labor and I cannot get someone to come down to help repair these problemsBusiness Response

My husband called this *** to have our *********** garage door opener repaired. The technician came the same day, 7/18/22. He told my husband they dont make those anymore, leading my 75 yo husband to believe it could not be repaired. He sold my husband a Liftmaster opener for $2364.91 and installed same. Later I found the plastic part on Amazon for $9.25. Later that day I read that a neighbor had the exact experience with this company (attached) and opted to call a different company. I have called the *** five times without response. Thank you.
