    Recently purchased home...had a flood, water flowing through shower. ***************************** came out to fix, claimed the pipes were corroded and needed a liner to fix issue. Cost was over $16k. Work performed in August 2023.In January **** same flooding happens via shower. Called Barker, they come out and tell me not same issue, but roots. Tell me they want 62K to fix problem. Got second and third plumber opinions. Both told me liner in pipe was washing away AND the corrosion scraping was only partially finished. Both plumbers agreed to go on the record with Barker and sons that the job was poorly done and incomplete. I wrote an email asking Barker and Sons to address the issue. No response. After several days (and mind you a continual flooding issue), I finally asked Barker and Sons to refund my payment from August 2023 since the issue was clearly not solved. No response from Barker and Sons. They now hang up on me when I call the office to inquire of my plumbing issue even though according to their contract, I am covered for 1 year.

    August - 2023
    ***************** called Barker and Sons and requested service for a stoppage in her house that flooded thru her shower. The shower is the lowest point in the house and anytime she has a major stoppage it will come up thru the shower. As per invoice ******, Barker and Sons epoxied her kitchen and main drain line for her downstairs drain line. Per her invoice she has a 5-year warranty for all work performed.

    January - 2024
    ***************** called on 1/12 and requested service for an upstairs toilet stoppage, we cabled and cleared the line.

    ***************** called back on 1/16 and stated she was doing laundry and the shower backed up again. We ran a cable under warranty and cleared the stoppage. We scheduled our Camera technician (******) to camera the line to see what was causing the stoppage. After running the camera, he found debris from the blockage that had previously cleared on 1/12, had lodged into the line that was epoxied in August 2023. In addition, he found the line in the bathroom upstairs had scale buildup. **************** was concerned and wanted solutions to solve the new issue. She requested estimates for redoing all of her drains in the entire house and to replace all of the water pipes. See estimates she requested on invoices 106553153, 106553391, 106553425, 106554272, 106554376.

    I have also attached 6 phone calls from our office. We pride ourselves on being extremely communicative and record all calls. We have attempted in every way to communicate with **************** to resolve her issue (see text message as well). We would NEVER hang up on a customer. We have attempted on numerous occasions to resolve any issues and warranty the work if necessary. She has not allowed access to see what the issue is since her accusations.  We in no way intend to take advantage of **************** or make her feel uncomfortable with having our company come out and see if any portion of the epoxy line failed. We always stand by our work and warranties and if any portion in the epoxy line has failed, we will happily repair under warranty at no cost to ***************** 

    It is difficult to respond to competitors' accusations and opinions without having access to review what they are referring to. 

    Barker and Sons lined a kitchen and shower line and descaled 30 feet of a line inside the house. There are lines in ******************** house that have not been lined and descaled. Which lines are the competitors looking at? Obviously, there is more work to be done and they are competing for it. It appears the competitor's are looking at something they may have assumed we lined and there interpretation is we didn't.
