Between April 2022 and September 2022 I have purchased almost $200 worth of FoxFarm soil for all of my new houseplants, including plants which I have sold to other people. That is 2 large $25 bags and 6 small $12 bags. FoxFarm Ocean Forest has burned the roots of these plants to death. I have either lost or had to completely re-root my Hoyas, Calatheas, Palms, Aroids, even basic Philodendrons. I have also searched this issue on ****** to find this has happened to many Marijuana growers as well. There is a difference between well fertile soil and every plant dying from dry rot. I also have to provide all of my customers with new soil and an apology for this mess, which I can confirm it has affected their plants as well since I recently reached out to them. I have contacted FoxFarm November 2022 about the issue and was told they could do nothing for me. They told me to go back to the place I bought it from. I was lucky enough to get an IN STORE CREDIT for a single $25 bag of Ocean Forest and only because I still had the bag! I have lost way more than a bag of soil and I would like to be refunded for the remaining soil as well as at least $300 in plant loss. This has been a nightmare and FoxFarm needs to completely reformulated their soil. I also wonder if there was bacteria contamination in their factory.
