Ive complained of noise and an increasing utility bill since I moved into this apt. *********** has been out a number of times and supposedly fixed a wire here or there. My bill has continued to increase. This month my bill was ******. ******* Senior apts manager says they will not replace unless The hvac company recommends. The unit is 40 years old. My neighbors bills are less than 100. I am conservative in my use and filters are clean. I need to have AC due to medical issues. This is becoming a financial hardship. Please recommend replacementCustomer response

Response from the owner2 weeks ago THis is my original response to this customers review. I am adding additional information after my signature, as there has been further correspondence with both property management and the tenant.

I do apologize if you feel as though you have had a bad experience with our company and I would be more than happy to discuss this with you at any time of your choosing. Please feel free to call me directly at any time. I am also more than happy to visit the property personally to confirm the proper operation of your equipment. I spent many hours on that roof and miss not getting to visit the residents I came to know their over the years. I did look at the history of our visits there and we replaced a faulty capacitor and repaired a burnt wire. We also met with the maintenance man at your apt to verify the normal operation of your unit at no!! cost to your property managers. We have been doing work for your landlords for over 20 years at multiple properties in and out of our normal service area. We have been fortunate to develop this relationship, through hard work, prompt, honest and fair pricing. I can assure you at no time have we ever upsold work. Quite honestly we do not charge the company for calls unless a repair is needed. We understand the value of strong business relationships and work hard everyday to achieve those. I know that neighbors around you have had there units replaced with new units and by that very nature are more efficient and less costly to operate. If you owned the property I would be more than happy to discuss a new air conditioning system that is more efficient then what you have now, but we are not able or willing to condemn a unit that is working properly even if it is older. I would first speak with your property managers and maybe even an ombudsman about your health concerns and monthly costs and if they choose to have us give pricing on a new ac unit, I will jump on it post haste. Forster HeatingAfter this response, my service manager and myself made another visit to this property at the request of property management. Although the tenant would not allow us in the apartment, we were given access to the roof to reevaluate the unit. Upon thorough inspection, we again found the unit to be in normal operating condition and for reference as noted above, the tenant, nor property management were ever billed for this evaluation. Again I will repeat, we value strong business relations and client satisfaction.
In addition to our visit, another independent hvac contractor, not on the property managements typical vendors list visited the property at the request of property management to confirm our diagnosis, This contractor also found the unit to be in normal operating condition. I continue to monitor this situation and have confirmed with property management that the unit is still operational.
