I went to put in a 30 day notice on the March 4th. They said the move out date is April 4th. I insisted that 30 days would be April 3rd because there are 31 days in the month. They refused to adjust the date and denied me service to be able to give 30 day notice.Initial Complaint

To whom it may concern,I am writing to bring to your attention an ongoing issue with *************************** also known as IE Rental, regarding a shared fence at the property located at ********************************************For approximately five to six years, I have been in contact with multiple supervisors regarding the neglected state of the joint fence that separates our properties. Despite repeated promises and visits from the maintenance team, the fence remains damaged due to the actions of previous tenants. These tenants placed car parts on the fence and destroyed it to accommodate an RV in the backyard. Additionally, they attempted to destroy a shed in an effort to move the fence.I have retained text messages and emails from the supervisors involved, documenting the empty promises and lack of action taken to rectify the situation. At this point, I kindly request that the fence be repaired or replaced due to the extensive damage caused by the previous tenants.I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.Customer Answer

Have submited maintenance request that have been ignored for over 3 months. Been to their office on multiple occasions and I'm just ignored. The company is now named ****************** Have changed their name several times. Since Feb when i move in to this property things have gone wrong and i have made work orders call the Maintenace supervisor and thing take weeks at a time to get fixed if it get fixed at all. Our AC stopped working it took them a week and a half to get if fixed. a water line broke on the side of the house flooded the people next doors yard we turned off the water call the property management they gave me the supervisor # called him said he would have the plumber come out the next morning no one ever showed up called again after 4 days i call someone to come out and get it fixed because we needed water and as of today no one has ever come out.Initial Complaint

Hello my name is ****** ****** and I was a Bitwise employee who just had major surgery a week ago and was just given a 3 day notice for $4,471.00 when is only 1 month behind which is June, and June rent is $995. I have receipts for all rent paid. The manager at Equity Management Inc who received rent and only partially credited my account is the only one they said can handle the problem. In January me “7 months pregnant” & my boyfriend moved into the apartment on El Tejon. As we got the keys the manager’s husband let us know there was a water leak in master bedroom closet “the wall was so saturated that i could poke holes into wall if I barely touched it & carpet was soaked” after the fact we signed the lease. A week later they came & opened the wall to fix the leak, when they opened the wall I decided to take a look in it & all I see is black mold all throughout the wall “I have video document proof” & they refused to remove mold. They only scraped it off & patched the wall back up. Then in February we had a roof leak in master closet & hall way closet it took the almost a month to come fix that. We also have a leak under our bathroom sink. In April we discovered that there is a live bee hive in the wall of our apartment & the bees are entering our restroom causing us to not be able to use our restroom “ I have videos & pictures of the bees” I called every day from April 22nd - April 27th just to get told there is a work order out & pest control should be coming out within the following Monday but of course nobody came out so I got sick of it so me & my boyfriend turned in a legal withholding rent document to equity on April 27th & comes to turn out there was never a work order. I called once again on April 29th & the supervisor Britney got on the phone to cuss me out because I told them to do their job. It is now May 22nd & no one has contacted us or been out to fix our bathroom leak & live bee hive situation. PS. My newborn daughter is also living under this roof. & they obviously could cared less.Initial Complaint

I have Equity Management a 30 day notice to vacate the property by March , 2023 which was done. I turned keys into manager for property she viewed the property said everything looked great the office should contact me regarding my deposit and credit due back to me that was on account. I tried contacting the office two weeks ago regarding my deposit they told be i needed to be patient these things take time, I know by law you have 30 business to return my deposit, Today is May 11, 2023 and I still haven’t received my deposit back or invoice regarding my deposit, they have no right to keep ones money.Initial Complaint

So we have had a hot water leak at my residence for over 2 years now and they refuse to repair it or attempt to repair it there is now segment water and both my front yard side of my house and backyard it constantly sounds like there's water running throughout my house and they refuse to fix it child protective services home now came out to the home stating that it is not sanitary and it is now a health issue also the water company has came by several times given us several warnings and now we might be stuck paying a fine because Property Management refuses to make the necessary repairs
