      On May 3rd , 2022 and May 10th, 2022 we B&D Security failed to call my self (***) or the shop manager ***** about a triggered alarm.They decided to call the fire department to come and check on my business when nothing was wrong.The city of ********** sent me a bill for each time one for $139. and one for $170.I called B&D Security and they said that they would take care of the bills with the city.My manager emailed the copies to their office and they confirmed that they received them.Its now 2024 and The City Of ********** sent us the same 2 bills saying that they were never paid.The reason that they didn't send them earlier is because of the pandemic they were giving us time.On 4/30/2024 I contacted the manager of B&D Security and he was very rude and unprofessional I asked to speak to supervisor and he said that the owner was his only supervisor.He then apologized for being a jerk and told me to send him the copies again to a number he would text me from safe to say he never text me and now they wont answer our calls.Ive seen all the complaints and this company needs to be shut down.

      I was in the process of finding a security company for my business. I was interested in a different company but one sales reps came to my business told me about their system. Initially their system sounded good and the price was good told me the equipment was free and I just had to pay a $300 installation fee three months go by and nobody comes to install the system. Finally fed up call them they tell me their sales rep is no longer working for them that sold me the equipment someone you come, starts to process all over tells me that it will be installed within the week. Another month goes by and they finally install the system. Two different companies came to install one for the security cameras, and one for the actual security system completely botched both jobs was not satisfied with the installation of neither systems get a hold of them they say they will send out another technician to correct the problems. This entire time I am being billed for system that is not properly operating. I finally told him Im no longer paying them until they corrected both jobs. they never came to re install their system and continue to charge me so I put a stop payment on there Bill

      Hello I have a complaint against Brinks Home Security. On 9-17-2024 . 2 salesperson identified themselves as ADT employees. One of their name was ******. They came to my business ************** on ****************************************************************. They offered an upgrade on my ADT alarm system. We agreed on an upgrade system for ADT for $50. On Septmber 18 they asked for a void check and I gave it to them. On September 19 they came and installed the upgrade equipment. They asked to change my setting on my phone which was set up with ADT. When they finished I noticed that my app was changed to Brinks Home Security. they lied to me. They changed companies without my authorization. They said they work for ADT and they really don't. They cashed the void check for $109 on September 22,2024. The check was cashed by B&D security. I never signed a contract. I demanded to cancel the false agreement and get my refund of $109 and for them to come and pick up their equipment. Since Septmber 22 I've been calling Brinks Security system and A&D Security. They are both working togeher in trying to scam me. They are giving me the round around. I've called numerous time and they never return my phone calls or text messages. Brinks home security says to call A&D security. And they say to call Brinks. I am within 30 days of free cancelation and refund but they are playing games. I called ADT my original company to reinstall my security system. Brinks Home Security still has me as a customer and I want out. I would also want my refund of ******. Thank you *************************

      Hello thank you for taking my complaint. I got a phone call on octubre 18 2023 from ********************** said she was from ******* home. The number she used was ************. Right away she threaten to sent me to collection.  I told her as soon as they lied to me and told me they were from ADT and i wanted everything cancel right away. ****** never answered my calls and they waited 1 month to tell me they are sending me to collection. This situation making me very stressed out that there is a company that les to me and are staight up scam. I have text messages, phone records, and i notified my bank 1 month before that brinks home re a scam.

      I hope this letter finds you well. However, it is with great disappointment and frustration that I am writing to address a severe issue that has tarnished the reputation of your company, B & D Security Inc.,Furthermore, the lack of communication regarding this matter exacerbates the issue. Multiple attempts have been made to reach out to your accounting department, but to no avail. Phone calls go unanswered, emails are ignored, and voicemails remain unreturned. This level of unprofessionalism and blatant disregard for basic business etiquette is astonishing, to say the least.I eagerly await your immediate action OZ on this matter. If I do not receive a satisfactory response, I will have no choice but to proceed with legal action to protect my rights and recover the funds owed.

      This company has set up with a company Time Payment and refuse to notify the company that my contract is no longer valid and I continue to be billed $71.00 per month. A simple fix is to indicate to Time Payment that I am no longer a company. I am still paying for equipment that I purchased in 2012. I am paying Brinks and this company B&D sold me the initial system in 2012. Since 2012 I have been paying Time Payment and the equipment should have been paid in full by 2020. The company falsified my signature to renew the contract. So now I am paying both Time Payment and Brinks. ** is a liar and continues to tell me he will handle the situation and yet does nothing.

      B&D IS A COMPANY THAT APPROACHES CUSTOMERS AS BRINKS SERVICES AND THEIR CONTRACT THAT THEY DONT SHOW TO CUSTOMER IS UNDER ADVANCED INTEGRATION MANAGEMENT. THE AGENTS INITIALS THE CONTRACT AND CLAIMS THE CUSTOMER SIGNED IT. THEY TAKE THE CHECK PAYMENT AND START AUTOMATIC PAYMENT WHICH THEY CLAIM THE CUSTOMER HAS DOCU SIGNED AND GAVE THEM ACCESS. IT WAS A NIGHTMARE TRYING TO CANCEL THE ***** PERIOD WHICH WAS 30 DAYS MENTIONED BY THE AGENT AND AS PER DOCU SIGN THEY CHANGE IT TO 3 DAYS WITHOUT LETTING THE CUSTOMER KNOW.

      I hired a company for in home security. 1) I thought it was Brinks as the sign says, but later found that it was B & D Security. 2) They promised free install but later had to pay ******** 3) Did not tell me the Ring Doorbell was a separate payment to them and not under their surveillance. (it cost me ****** a year) 4) They sent a E-Contract with very small print and required an electronic signature. 5) They were very quick (within 1 week) in installing equipment with subcontractor not having a name or business card. 6)Ended up with a 5 year contract instead of 3 as was mentioned from the beginning. 7) Security System started the week of 10/26/2021. 8) Worked for about 5 weeks and then cameras went offline. I called Brinks and they tried to fix it remotely. They said they had to send a tech to fix it. Was schedule for 1/19/22 (one month no service). They called and cancelled because their tech was too far away. 9)I said cancel the contract that they broke because of no service and they said they couldn't. I would have to talk with B&D Security. This was the first time I realized I was dealing with 2 different companies. 10) I called B&D and they said they would send a tech but would be 1-2 weeks. I said cancel the service and contract and they said no. So I told them to come and pick up their equipment, which they did on 2/2/22. 11) On 3/14/22, they sent a **** of ******** and threatened a collection agency. SUMMARY: I have invested ******* (including 1 year Ring) for a little over 5 weeks of service. I currently have no security system or the device in my home. I also had to repair the holes in my wall and repaint where the panel was (about ******* worth)

Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/04/22) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) 1.) Is this issue resolved? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Rather it has only gotten worse. 2.) The company response is overly simplistic, my cameras went offline mid-December 2021 (after @ 5 weeks of service.) It took almost 2 months to respond with a technician. By the time he showed up to "fix" the problem, it way too little and way too late. I had already told the company to cancel my contract and collect their equipment. I was put on hold numerous times up to one hour wait time to speak with someone. I realized the company was completely unconcerned about customer service. 3.)The company was very quick to sell and to install and to quickly bill and unless the system went down and service was needed, I would have not known how bad their service was. 4.) As of 4/8/22, they sent a letter telling me, they sent my case to a collection agency saying I owed ********** 5.)If I had done my research on this company before agreeing, I never would have hired them. If anyone is satisfied is because none of the equipment needs service yet...!!! I would like to read their reviews after trying to get repairs. 6.) Their being quick to turn over to the collection agency shows me they've done this before and are well aware of their "fine print legalities" 7.) If I could scream out to the world, I would say, " NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AND SHAME ON BRINKS FOR ALLOWING THIS COMPANY TO USE THEIR NAME!"

      2 years ago I signed a contract for brinks alarm and cameras they came installed them right away the camera quality is terrible called multiple times to have them fixed or replaced no one came also the dvr system I have is supposed to have 30 day storage and it does not so I called brinks because I was getting no where with the installation / sales company and brinks has no record of any cameras being installed ,called the sales /tech number for B&d and they said they were sending someone out I no longer want the cameras,dvr from this company they are terrible and brinks alarm company has no records of them I pay every month and no longer want to be involved with a 3rd party company that I had no idea until today because brinks told me it was not their company but a authorized dealer for the alarm not cameras I was not told they are a 3rd party at anytime and they said they are with brinks and not b&d

      Just want to make a complaint against Austin auto sale reason is that they are charging 200 dollars on a repo when the time the repo came didn't even use the tow truck they took it driving and today 01/13/2022 it got repo again for those 200 dollars but the guy who can to repo the car isn't charging no cost because we gave him the keys and last time I gave them the key to and they are charging me 200 and didn't even use the tow truck and I'm not even complaining on what I spent to fix the car when I should of taken the car to them to fix it but I didn't want to give them problems so I sent the car to go get fixed and well the car came out good but it got damaged and I fixed it so we would want to keep the car but these small problems have been coming since a new employee came to work there but hopefully there is a solution to this

      I purchased a security/monitoring system from this company on August 21, 2019 while living at **** ******* ***** ********** *** The contract I signed was a 60 month agreement. In April of 2021, I called the company and informed them I would be moving. They sent out a technician to take down all equipment I would need to transfer my services to my new home in Arizona. My new home was being built at the time and was not complete. The company told me that I would need to continue making my monthly payment and that when my house was built, they would come install the system. They also told me I would need to take the equipment that the technician took down from my previous house to the new house. I did both of these things. On August of 2021, I contacted the company to schedule for them to come set up the system at my new house. They told me that they would schedule a technician and they would call me back. I never received a call. I called again September 2021. They told me I would need to purchase all window and door sensors at $40 each. These were things that were at my previous house that the technician never took down. I told them I would not pay for that because it was not my fault that their technician did not take the sensors down. In the contract, it sates that should you move to a new location, you will be charged $99 for transfer and installation of alarm system. I told the company that I would pay that as it is listed in the contract, but that I would not pay for the sensors. After that, they told me they would call me back once they "figured it out". I never received a call back. I called several times after with no response. I have continued to pay my monthly fees so that my credit does not take a hit. Because they would not come install my system, I had to find a new company to install a different alarm system. They have now caused me to have an additional bill, and I would like to be out of my contract with B and D security and money for new contract.

The customer didn't confirm this was not done therefore the ticket was closed. The service to install the equipment was not done, the billing for service to reinstall equipment can be reimbursed if we charged it, please let me know.
