I ordered a collection of music for trumpet and organ from SheetMusicPlus recently. Only the trumpet part shipped, despite the description of the product clearly saying it included the organ accompaniment. I emailed the company to ask that they send the organ part, but they refused to honor this request and even went so far as to lie to me and tell me that the product did not include the organ part. When I presented them with a screenshot of the product description clearly saying ORGAN ACCOMPANIMENT, they stopped responding to my emails.This company would rather act dishonestly than ensure that customers get what they paid for. With many more reputable online sheet music services on the market, I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.Sheet Music Plus Response

Thank you for alerting us to this matter. Following thorough examination and deliberation, it has come to light that the item description furnished by the publisher lacked sufficient detail. Consequently, the purchase was made under the misconception that the item possessed certain attributes it did not. We sincerely regret this oversight. The publisher has now revised the item description to provide clearer information. It really saddens me to have to write this review after being a loyal and satisfied sheetmusicplus customer for over 20 years, but recent experiences have changed my mind about shopping with this company.Up until this point, I have had nothing but good experiencesprompt order filling and shipment, good prices, easy to access customer service by phone or email, and their consistent good-faith efforts towards resolving issues when they came up.That all changed a few months agothey changed their website, changed several policies without fully explaining or posting them so customers could understand them, and customer service became only available by email. Issues Ive had recently include:When unable to place an order due to multiple bugs in the website, I emailed them to let them know. I never received a response.When I emailed them regarding a mixup over shipping methods immediately after placing the order, I never received any response.Without telling customers, they stopped allowing more than 1 gift certificate to be used per order, after having no such policy in the past. Because of the cost of shipping when placing multiple orders is significantly higher than shipping together it effectively voids the value of my gift certificates. When I asked about this, they directed me to a website that supposedly explained it, but there was nothing to that effect written there. There were and are multiple work arounds to this policy (offering to combine gift certificates, voiding gift certificates and refunding that amount to my card), but when I asked they refused to consider any of them and said they would be granting no exceptions.Ironically, this was all over a few gift certificates with a total value under $20; unfortunately because of this incident they will be losing a significantly larger amount from my lost business. In the future, I will be taking my hard earned money to companies that place a higher value on customer service.Sheet Music Plus Response

** August 2022, I purchased a copy of ***********************' "Opening" from ************** suite. After struggling with it, I found there were at least 6 mistakes in the notation. SheetMusicPlus refused to refund my money and offered no other remedy. Buy your music elsewhere, they are not a reliable source!Sheet Music Plus Response

Hello,
Digital downloads are non-refundable, per our Digital Return Policy; however, we are happy to assist when there are problems with digital products within a reasonable amount of time - the issue with this matter is, the customer purchased this item in August 2022, and is asking for a refund in May 2023. Unfortunately, this is a very large amount of time to wait before issuing a complaint about any product; waiting 9 months to report a problem with an instant download is excessive. Concerns about this product should have been immediately identified, and immediately report to ** so that we could have assisted.

BUYER BEWARE. To all consumers, If you're still waiting for delivery, I would request a refund, and be sure you get it. I plan on doing that. This company never got back to me on my very overdue item, and I'm sure they never would have, if I hadn't reached out to them first.Review from Bobby M

I have ordered quite a few books from Sheetmusicplus on January 27, and they claim that they have been shipped on January 28. I have been still waiting my my orders. They do not even give customers any tracking numbers. I have also contacted them, and their response is there is a global transportation service issue. I live in ****** and my order was "custom free priority air." This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional approach.Review from Sherry C

The website gave a picture of a different product, and misled me to purchase a different product. When inquired through the phone, the customer service was very rude and mean. The Christmas music I purchased in October didnt arrive till January and February as well. As if my students wanted to play them in February?
