On Friday 9/20/24, I received notification from ****** that there was a fraudulent charge made to my account through **********************. I reported that it was fraud to ****** and they advised me to reach out to Ticketmaster since the purchase was through them. I immediately changed passwords to my email, Ticketmaster, and ****** and called Ticketmaster for assistance. The call was over an hour and the majority of it was being on hold and transferred. When I spoke to the final representative, I was told my incident report would be transferred Ticketmaster's fraud team. I asked the Fan Support if I would be able to receive a copy of my incident report to provide to my credit card company and ****** in which I was told that I just need to wait for the fraud team to contact me in the next few days. On 9/23/24 I was told I would be contacted in the next 48 hours. 48 hours after that message I was sent another message saying they were sorry for the delay and that it would be another 48 hours. It has now been over *********************************************************Business response

I purchased a ticket for ********* at ************, order 3000-0630-0467-1624-6. The event was rescheduled and I was asked if I would like to request a refund and I did. I checked the ticket and it was unavailable for the rescheduled event because I had requested a refund. Now I am being told the organizer does not allow refunds unless the event was canceled. Had I been able to use the ticket, I would have used it, but assumed I was good to receive a refund considering there was never a ticket to use for the event for this order.Business response

Tickets stolen from Ticketmaster ************************************* account.Around 7:27 PM on Sept 26, 2024, two tickets that I purchased on Ticketmaster was transferred to someone without my authorization. I purchased the tickets for $324.82 on Aug. 16, 2024.I have contacted Ticketmaster and was given the response that their Fraud Team will contact me in 3-5 days. My concern is that many customers on ********, Reddit and X have reported no resolution for weeks and no response from Ticketmaster. I want a quick resolution before the tickets are re-sold.Looking at similar incidents, the security data breach has been affecting their customers for a while now and ********************** has neglected to prevent the issue from happening after customers have reported the problem.I hope you can help me resolve my issue.Thank you.Business response

I bought 3 tickets on ticketmaster for a concert on March 7, 2024. The total was $712.05. On July 9th 2024, I transferred the tickets to my brother. When the concert day finally came on 9/26/24 my brother headed to the concert venue and got through security, once they were going to scan his tickets they came up as claimed. Security escorted them to costumer service where they were told that his ticketmaster account was hacked and the tickets were used by someone else under the account name of dh db. I reached out to ticketmaster and they said they couldnt issue a refund. We would like a refund as those tickets were over $700 dollars, and stolen from out account.Business response

Hello I spoke to Ticketmaster on September 10th in regards to my Ohio State Vs Michigan games tickets showing "claimed". I wasn't sure what that meant because prior I was able to see the barcode for both tickets. The *** asked generals questions and stated that someone would email me with next instructions or call if they had additional questions. I got a phone call on September 18th 2024 from Ticketmaster. They left a voicemail and stated that they believe the situation is due to fraudulent activity and that a full refund would issued. However they needed to speak to me first. I called the regular Ticketmaster # and they gave me the fraud #. I tried for over a week to reach that department but no one answers the phone. After being on hold for about 10 mins, each time. A automatic *** comes on and says our specialist are helping other fans and to leave a voicemail and they'd call back at their earliest convenience. So after a few days of these I called the regular Ticketmaster # back and complained about not being able to get a live *** with fraud and the *** said a manager would call back within 24 to 48 hours and that they also sent communication to the fraud department to expedite them calling me back. They still have done either.Business response

On August 8, 2024 I purchased 4 tickets directly from Ticketmaster for a concert to take place on Nov. 29, 2024. The only option is mobile tickets through their app. On 9/26/24, I received 3 emails within a 2 minute time span that my ticket transfer was accepted and completed. Someone hacked into my account and transferred all my tickets to them. There is no way to get my tickets back. There is no 2 factor authentication with Ticketmaster and they are of NO help. I have read all comments on their ******** page and this seems to be an ongoing issue and they are not refunding or returning phone calls The email I received when I purchased tickets says"With Ticketmaster SafeTix Your Phone is Your Ticket". There is nothing Safe about this process. A company with that much money and presence should have protective measures in place. I simply want a refund so I can repurchase tickets and make a holiday memory with my family. This industry needs to do better so innocent people stop getting scammed. I called Ticketmaster within moments of seeing what happened, waited 1 hour on hold, spoke to a gentleman that was hard to understand and said he would report the issue. I tried reporting via direct messenger on ********. I have not heard anything back and based on FB comments, they are not returning phone calls. I feel like Ticketmaster needs to exposed for this so that they do better. Two Factor Authentication is a must!! If that had been in place, this would NOT have happened or they could have emailed me tickets and required that to be presented rather than an unsecured mobile app.Business response

I ordered tickets for the ****** ********** concert on 10/13 in **********, **. On 9/26, my ticketmater account was hacked and someone "*** A" transferred the tickets to himself. I did not authorize this transfer of tickets. The tickets are no longer accessible to me even though I paid for them in full. I purchased 7 tickets from Ticketmaster on September 24 for the ********************** The Right Stuff Las Vegas Residency. Today I got emails saying that 5 of those tickets had been transferred and claimed. I did not send these tickets. I have two-factor authentication turned on and this still happened. These tickets were very expensive!Order #**-54475/NV2 -- 3 tickets stolen Order #**-54250/NV2 -- 4 tickets bought, 2 stolen. I was able to cancel the transfer before the last 2 were claimed; I then transferred them to my husband so they couldn't get stolen again.Business response

Date of transaction: 9/24/2024 Amount: $2,026.55 I have contacted Ticketmaster multiple times on the phone and sent them a message requesting a refund due to their misrepresentation of what was included with the tickets I purchased in section 304VIP for the November 7th, 2025 performance. I purchased VIP Banquette seating because it is being advertised on the artist's page that Banquette seats include meet and greet along with other things like backstage tour. Furthermore, Ticketmaster shows a filter when searching for tickets to either show (or exclude) Banquette seating that specifically EXCLUDES the meet and greet tickets. I did NOT purchase in a section that excluded the meet and greet experience. Ticketmaster only shows section 303VIP and 305VIP for those exclusions (see photo). I purchased in ******. This is misrepresentation because I was told today that section 304VIP does not include the meet and greet despite not explicitly stating as such. There are quite a few angry people posting on social media about this happening to them as well which is how I realized that I needed to inquire. I am, therefore, requesting a refund because you falsely represented seating.Business response

I purchased 2 concert tickets for my daughter's 18th birthday and Ticketmaster stated that they took the tickets back and sold them at a higher rate. I don't think this is fair considering I paid for these tickets and there was no reasoning for why they took them back. My daughter was looking forward to this concert and this is ridiculous. The fact that they gave me no reason why they took them back is not a legitimate excuse. I am very unhappy and I want something done about this.Business response
