I realized the website would not let me cancel and the representative would not cancel for me so I used the phone line. Before I knew it, I was charged the next month. This is blatant fraud.Initial Complaint

I tried to get a vehicle *** number online and found Vin history USA would look it up for a fee of one dollar. I paid my one dollar and it turned out that the *** number was nonexistent so I didnt get anything in return. This happened on March 8, 2025. I noticed today that on March 25, 2025 I was charged ***** for a monthly fee for vinhistory. No one told me that I would be enrolling in a monthly subscription for a *** number that I only needed to look up one time. When I tried to cancel this fraudulent subscription via an email that said to cancel your subscription click here it said they cannot cancel it and I should call them, but I was advised by *************** to not call the company because of the fraud that they are associated with. I used vinhistoryUSA to looks up my car I recently bought. Charged me $1.00 and a week later they took $29.95 out of my account. I spoke with them through tx message and they claimed I would hear from them in 3 business days and its been longer then that, They also said I had an account with them and I never opened an account. I used this site to search info on an RV using a VIN #, and was charged $1 for the report which I actually didnt receive since the site took forever to load days later I was charged $29.95 and immediately contacted the business to request a refund and cancel any subscription I was signed up for immediately. I received an automated response telling me to use the confirmation email to cancel, which I didnt receive. I replied with the info that I didnt have the email, and have not heard a response since. I then used the chat feature on their website over the next few days and was first told I needed to wait 3 business days for a response to my email, then told that they would escalate it and someone would reach out to me in ***** hours. Hello I have paid for the trial subscription for $1 on vinhistoryusa and they will not cancel it for me. I went to cancel it and the website says error occurred please contact us. I contacted the number *************** and it gets immediately disconnected. I emailed them but they referred me to the same non functional cancellation page. I used the live chat feature and they are saying to wait on email but they are now not responding to the email. This all happened today. Never completed a transaction with them. I began it and then left the page. Was charged $1 never recieved anything from them no email no vin report. Then without nice was charged $29.95 for a weekly charge. I spoke with two chat bots on their site. They direct me to the cancelation web page that gives me an error. On March 3, 2025 I paid $1.00 for a 7-day trial membership so I could look up a vin number. On March 4, 2025 I sent them an email requesting them to cancel my subscription. On March 11, 2015 $29.95 was deducted from my bank account for the first month of a subscription. On March 13, 2025, the first time I noticed the charge, I sent them another email requesting a refund and cancellation of the subscription. I didn't hear from them. So around March 23, 2025 I used the chat feature on their website to address this issue. I was told that my complaint would be sent to the proper department for consideration. A couple of days later I used the chat feature again and gave the same complaint to another person. Today, March 28, 2025 I used the chat feature again and said that if I didn't hear from them by the end of the day I would report them to the BBB. I have not heard from them.
