    After only a couple light wears the shoes are horribly discolored. Contacted customer service and they said this happens. You should go pay to have them dyed a darker color to try to cover it up! For shoes that cost almost $200 this is insane. They have zero customer service. On top of that, they originally told me the discoloration happens if you fold the shoes and store them in the bag which is exactly what they advertise and how the shoes come packaged! This was not the case in my situation as I have never folded them.

    About a month ago, I spent $245 on these leather flats because of the promises of their high quality and durability. The shoes began falling apart within days of my wearing them. First, the gold finish wore off all over the place, then the leather started fraying in multiple spots, then the soles of the shoes started chipping and falling off. The stitching was also coming unraveled in both shoes. This was all within just a couple of weeks of reasonable wear. I reached out to customer service, assuming that this must be a fluke because they promise such high quality. I have since been in a back and forth with them trying to get an acceptable resolution. First it was suggested that its probably just my feet and how i walk (Ive literally never had this problem with any other shoes), then it was suggested i dont wear them while driving (??? What kind of shoes cant handle being worn in a car?), and after multiple requests for a replacement or at least a discount code so I can try a new pair without having to pay the entire exorbitant $245 fee all over again, the best theyve offered is the serious inconvenience of me sending the shoes in so they can polish them. It took a lot of pushing from me for them to also offer a re-sole - which still wouldnt even fix all of the problems with these shoes. It would be easier and less costly to just replace the shoes at this point. I dont think it would be even remotely possible to fix these and bring them back to satisfactory condition. Thats how bad it is. They are framing this as if its an amazing favor theyre offering to do for me, which I found even more off-putting because any other luxury shoe brand would have just replaced them or offered a discount code.I have never experienced customer service this poor, especially for such an expensive product. These shoes fell apart immediately, theres clearly fundamental quality issues here and the company is refusing to admit that and remedy it in an appropriate way.

    Emailed Tiekds customer service on June 12, 2024 for a refund or shoe replacement for shoes that were damaged under 1 year of use. I was told to get super glue or bring it to a shoe cobbler after asking for a replacement.

    I am writing to file a formal complaint against Tieks, a company specializing in women's footwear, due to a concerning and unresolved issue related to a recent purchase and return. The details of the matter are as follows:On 6/5/2023, I made a purchase of a pair of shoes from Tieks, order number **********, for which I paid $275. Unfortunately, upon receiving the shoes, I discovered that they did not fit correctly. Subsequently, I contacted Tieks' customer service department to initiate a return process.Tieks agreed to process the return under the condition that I would try a different pair of shoes before receiving a refund for the original purchase. Specifically, I was offered a black pair of shoes priced at $130 as an alternative. I agreed to this arrangement, and Tieks was informed that I would like to proceed with the exchange.However, despite my compliance and repeated follow-**** I have not received the black pair of shoes that Tieks promised to send me. Moreover, I have not been issued a refund for the original purchase of $275. To my great concern, I noticed unauthorized attempts by Tieks to charge my credit card for the $130 related to the black pair I never received.I have made numerous attempts to resolve this matter by contacting Tieks' customer service department, but I have not received a satisfactory response or resolution to my issue. This situation has caused undue stress and inconvenience, and I feel that my trust as a consumer has been severely compromised.Therefore, I am requesting the following actions to be taken by Tieks:Promptly issue a refund of $275 for the original pair of shoes that I returned to Tieks.Cease any further attempts to charge my credit card for the $130 related to the black pair of shoes that I never received.

    Hello,Despite my reluctance, I must file this complaint because I made vain attempts to fix the issue with the company. On February 5th or 6th, I paid $195 for a pair of their shoes in obsidian black, and on February 6th, the package was dispatched. When I followed the package, it showed that it had been delivered two or three days later. When I went to get my shipment, I was unable to locate it. I got in touch with any of my neighbors who might have accidentally received it, checked around the multi-unit building and the neighborhood for it, and looked for it if it had been dropped on the lawn or the pavement. When I phoned **** they informed me that it had been delivered, but where is the visual evidence of this? I could have stared a process of tracking it but as a consumer with experience with weeks of delay, I hesitated to do so and informed tieks of my unwillingness to do so.When I contacted Tieks, they told me to do this all of this which I did, accept for filing a trace that would take weeks. It took them a few days to do it on their end (as they are a business, I presumed it would be faster), and the information they sent was not from **** directly (a forwarded response), but the text reflected the same information they told me - the packaged were not returned to them or anything like that and by all accounts that I could comprehend - they were delivered. I mentioned that this area does have problems with package theft and though it is my suspicion that this is what happened, I don't have proof (no cameras, eye witness, etc).They insist I file a report with police but after researching, without proof on my end, to prove my position, I could be held liable for that report. I will not go to this extent. Plus they keep insist police report means I get a replacement, a replacement I don't want. I was not advised that my package was insured for the expensive content inside, or if I had access to that,. I advised them of my rights and plans.

    I purchased about 35 Tieks shoes from Tieks over the last 3 years. Several of the patent leather Tieks I purchased discolored after a year. The shoes were kept in a clean dark environment and never worn. They were not touching anything, as I kept them in individual shelves separated by each other. There was no reason for the Tieks to have discolored unless the leather was flawed or the process to color them was flawed while being made. I sent the pair to Tieks to take a look at them and them refused to replace despite the fact that I kept them well and never wore them. They have a policy that unworn Tieks can be returned at any time. I was not responsible for the discoloration in the paten leather, yet I am stuck with damaged goods. Also, it has been almost 3 weeks and I have not received the damaged Tieks back. Clearly, Tieks do not stand behind their product and something needs to be done. I want a replacement with a non-defective pair of shoes or a money refund for the purchase.

    Date of purchase was 5/4/22 as a gift for my sister. The order # (**********) was for a pair ************************** She was unable to wear them as they were too small and ordered a new size and color to try and sent back the original order. This was accepted by Tieks with no issues. The 2nd pair still did not work for my sister as they rubbed her feet and were unbearable. When trying to get a refund back to my credit card, we were told that they could only offer a credit as the original color shoe was not what they got back. We shipped back what was sent to us, both pairs now are with Tieks. They never said a word during the exchange about the shoe color not being what was ordered. The two colors were outrageous orange (replacement) and coral patent original purchase. The exchange happened in June. The website states a full refund for non worn shoes will be issued. They have refused to correct the issue, Catie the manager has been obnoxious in challenging the color which we have no control over what they sent us. She is trying to waste even more time by having me call her and never answering. These shoes are expensive $200 and my sister is unable to utilize the credit they tried to give. This goes against what is stated on their site. I just want my money back as this has taken hours of time from me, my sister and our families as they have argued with us and will not provide a reasonable solution. We have no idea why they are questioning the shoe color as we do not name or make Tieks. This is my last resort along with filing an issue with my credit card company. Thank you for your help.     I ordered a pair of ***** Tieks. The size 8 was too small so I called to exchange them for a size 9. These were too big, so I bought inserts which didn't help the problem of a sagging right heal. I was told their repair team worked miracles. I sent them back and the same problem persisted. When I sent them back again, I was told they couldn't refund me because they had been worn! I had to wear them to see that the repair didn't work! The shoes were unwearable. It was maybe a 20 minute walk until I retuned to change my shoes. I feel this company is not for the consumer and does everything to make it as hard as possible to make it right. They offered me an alternate shoe, but I wanted ********** not leather. No other color would have worked for me. Not worth the high price of a ballet flat and the aggravation of making it right.

    I purchased *********** flats, have worn them probably 3 times in total. I was at a ***** conference 8/2/22, I looked down at my shoes and saw that the stitching on the heel on my left shoe was coming undone. I immediately contacted customer support. After more than a week of emails and photos back and forth - all saying the same thing from "customer support" that they will not replace my defective shoes but "rehab" them I am forced to come here for resolution. It is apparent from the photos that I was requested/required a. The shoes are defective. B. The shoes have barely been worn. I just want my shoes replaced.

    I ordered a **** pair of shoes from Tieks because their website claims that their shoes are " Wearable all day, every day." Their website also claims that their shoes are "a flat with unparalleled comfort, flexibility, durability, and style." Once I received the shoes and tried them on inside my bedroom I realized that they were the most uncomfortable flats I'd ever tried on. The elastic band cut into my skin in an excruciatingly painful way. The elastic band dug into my heels and the sides of my toes leaving the skin completely raw after only having the shoes on for a few minutes inside my bedroom. This obviously made them unwearable. Also, the leather inside the shoes was extremely rough and defective making your feet irritated all over and absolutely miserable in the areas where the band is. The advertising is deceitful and so far my experience with customer service has been terrible. I called numerous times yesterday and spoke to three different people. The first two refused to send me a return label even though the receipt I received inside the box said that if I was unsatisfied with my Tieks then I could return them for a refund and to call or email them for a return label. However, they forced me to spend the majority of my day yesterday on the phone with them because they refused to send me a return label until I finally got a manager on the line. The manager did send me a return label but she kept saying things like "they may choose not to refund me when they receive the shoes back". The shoes had not been worn outside, or out anywhere. The shoes had only been tried on inside my bedroom on clean carpet a few times and I realized they are not worth the money and they are not what they are advertised to be. I shipped the shoes back to the company yesterday. I expect a full refund of $***. I am stressed because they kept suggesting that they may not refund me. They sold me a faulty and defective pair of falsely advertised shoes. I deserve a full refund!

I've worn them three times and they rub really terrible blisters on my feet." Per our policy, we only take back Tieks in unworn, original condition, but we still wanted to see how we could help. A manager reached out to the customer and got clarification that they had been worn indoors, so a prepaid label was emailed to evaluate the shoes and see if they could be returned. Upon receiving the shoes, the customer was notified via email that we received the pair back today and determined that they are eligible for a full refund. A refund was promptly issued back to the customer the same day to the original form of payment.
