I am trying to purchase a home and have found a $380 collection which is showing as "high impact" to my credit score. I have tried to dispute it the company denies my dispute. I have no clue why this is on my credit, I have never received a letter or bill from this company nor from the originator. I am a single mom and this is holding me up on my home purchase.Business Response

I talked to this company on 4/29/22 and 7/21/22. They told me I owe Care Ambulance for services on 11/19/18. I spoke with Care Ambulance after and asked for them to send me the original bill which they did with a second page showing a balance of $0. My balance was $0 even before this company started charging me interest August of 2019 for a bill I dont owe. They shouldnt have ever added anything to my credit report in the first place. I already told them I wont be paying them any money because I dont owe any medical bills.Business Response

CMRE Financial Services, **** has reviewed the consumer's complaint and appreciates the opportunity to respond. Unfortunately we do not have an account in our office for CARE ambulance for this consumer. The only account we have for the consumer is for the The ***************. The *************** assigned the account to our office on 08/15/19. A notice was sent to the consumer on 08/20/19 and 09/29/19 advising the consumer of the account, their right to dispute and request validation, and that a negative credit reporting may be furnished if not resolved. Another notice containing the information regarding the account was mailed on 07/22/22 at the request of the consumer. As this time the account is in a disputed status and which has also conveyed to the credit bureaus, Experian and Transunion. I just received 32 letters in the mail today July 27, ******************************************************* to payback money owed to them from a CATLIGHT CARE SERVICES dating from 01/2019 to 05/2019. I have never dealt with this care provider, the care center told me they have no record of me and have never made contact with this care center, as I predicted. This is a scam and a threat to me, requiring me to pay for charges that I never took part in. I'm not sending money to a scammer. They paid so much in postage to send me fake invoices for fake charges. I am requiring this company to send me a letter stating they made a mistake and all charges have been dismissed or revoked immediately.Business Response

CMRE Financial Service recorded an account on my credit report without giving me a notice, call, or any form of contact. I tried contacting them multiple times with no answers. There was no account number. No validation whatsoever. I don't even know what the charges are for. All I have is the account posted. We recently spoke to the consumer on 07/26/21 in where he agreed to pay the account balance in full on 07/29/22 however there has been no payment at this time. I received 20 letters from EMRE Financial this past Saturday saying that I owed a total of $810 to a company called ************* Services from services they provided back in 2019. I had never heard of a company called ************* Services, and when I did a search to find them, I discovered they didn't exist. I also had ****** back in 2019, so all my care was through them. I spoke to member services at ****** and they verified that they had never heard of ************* Services nor had I been referred out to anyone by that name. Looking closer at the bills that EMRE sent me, I noticed that every single one of them had me listed as a different account number, but always kept the last 4 digits the same. When I looked up EMRE Financial to see if this was a scam, I found all ton of complaints against them all saying that had a history of filing false claims with the credit unions from companies that didn't exist. I'm not sure how they got my info, but can the BBB please help me out here and get these false reports off my credit rating and have them delete/destroy any info they might have about me. I am continuously receiving calls from this entity saying that ******** medical has turned my account over to a debt collector. I contacted ******** directly, and they confirmed that I DO NOT have a balance and that my account was NOT turned over to a debt collector.Business Response
