I had to text them the first time to see if they got it and They did and it would take 4 to 8 weeks on January 16th to get it back. 5 months later I have had contacted them 4 times through email and phone both internationally and the place I have shipped it out to. Not a single response from them I have had left voicemails 5 times and emailed them 4 or 5 times. my RMA was #LA23010004Initial Complaint

Returned under warranty Adata 1TB SSD (ASU740SS-1T-R) on Jan. 4, 2023 with approved RMA. As of today, April 6, 2023, no replacement. When I am able to get some one to answer they have always indicated they are out of replacement items and are expecting replacements in three to five weeks. ADATA is selling the the same item on their **** page (*************************************).The lack of phone or email support and the length of wait demonstrates a lack of respect for their customers.I am willing to accept a replacement, refund, or credit for purchase of the item on ADATA's **** seller page.Initial Complaint

I purchased an XPG GAMMIX S70 BLADE 2 TB SSD drive from Amazon, purchased on February 27, 2022. Suddenly, around November 15th, 2022, the hard drive completely failed and stopped being recognized by my computer's motherboard. I submitted an RMA through ADATA's support website on 12/27/22 and shipped the device to the instructed address via ***** on 12/28/22. The tracking information shows it was received at ADATA's address on 12/30/23, however their RMA tracking website states that the shipment has not been received. Phone calls to any of the numbers result in an automated response assistant where you leave a message and never get called back. They have a form on their website where you could contact someone from customer service, but the form fails when submitting and references an unspecified error. There is literally no way to contact anyone from the company and there has been nothing but radio silence from this company since I created the claim. They take your money, give you an inferior product, claim a 5 year warranty on the product, and apparently just hope you never have to submit a warranty claim since it feels like that entire department is un-staffed. Like it doesn't exist anywhere but in their imagination. I paid $250 for this drive and I might as well have taken that money and set it on fire. For reference, RMA# LA22120306. Something needs to be done about this scam of a company.Initial Complaint

I purchased the *** GAMMIX S70 BLADE 1 TB SSD drive from ADATA through amazon on October 6th, 2021. I paid this company $174.79. After coming back home on January 10th 2023, from being with family for a few weeks, leaving my computer UNPLUGGED, the drive was suddenly dead, unrecognizable by my motherboard or laptop. RMA was submitted the day after on Jan 11th, 2023. RMA no. ************. As a 5 year warranty was claimed for this drive. After a large gap without communication from their end, I called and got the information I needed to ship the drive back to them to get it repaired/replaced. I shipped it out via *** after having to pay $30 in shipping as well, and it was received by them Feb 02, 2023. I was able to stay updated by calling them every two days, as their phone line was super unresponsive and I would normally have to just leave a voicemail, which would normally get zero response. This was required as their website was weeks behind any updates. Around the 16th of Feb I called in and was told that I would be shipped a replacement. That was the last time I was able to get a hold of a person and I have not received any assistance or communication since. Their phone line has gone dead, and only accepts voicemails. It has been over a month and I still do not have a refund or a replacement drive from ADATA/***. I have had to purchase a new one from WD (faster, cheaper, more reliable). This company does not seem to care about their customers or customer retention. I will no longer be purchasing or recommending anything from ADATA/***/Whatever new rebrand to avoid being looked into. Avoid this company, look into ******** Crucial, WD, Corsair... basically anyone but ADATA, unless you need a known crappy drive. It'll cost more, but be be reliable for 5x the time. I've had a ******* SSD in my system since 2016 with zero issues, should have gone with them in the first place and saved myself all the money wasted on shipping and having to buy a whole new drive.Initial Complaint

On May 27, 2022 I purchased a a 2tb SSD (Solid State Drive) from ADATA approximately five months later the drive failed. Since it was in warranty I decided to RMA it, however, it has been five months since then and I have still not revived a replacement. Additionally I am unable to get a response from them through either phone or email despite repeated attempts. I bit after my SSD was delivered to them, their RMA tracking still said they had not received it. I sent an email inquiring about this and received a response stating they had received it and where waiting on a replacement which would take 4-6 weeks.Timeline of events:Purchase of SSD: May 27, 2022 RMA Request: Dec 3, 2022 Failed drive sent to ADATA: Dec 12, 2022 Failed drive delivered to ADATA: Dec 14, 2022 Email asking if drive was received by them: Jan 11, 2023 Response email: Jan 12, 2023 Status update email #1: Mar 5, 2023 Status update email #2: Mar 9, 2023 Status update email #3: Mar 15, 2023 Info:RMA #: LA22120045 Model #: APSFG-2T-CSUS Return Tracking # ******* ********************** Thank you for your help!Initial Complaint

ADATA Does not Honor Warranty.I created an RMA ticket (case number ************) for a bad RAM brought from Amazon.com and sent the pair of RAMs back to ADATA. (The RAMs arepaired and cannot work singular.)The RAM was delivered on 1/20/2023 (see **** tracking.pdf) and confirmed receiving on 2/3/2023 (see RMAstatus.pdf).There has been over a month and no update after that.I have sent several follow-up emails to ************************************** and *************************************** but none was replied. I also called the ADATA, ?**************?, several times, but none was answered. After doing some research on reddit, I found some users have the same problem. The longest might over a year. Therefore, I filed this RMA complaint in order to contact ADATA.Initial Complaint

For reference, RMA# LA22120011.I am going to attempt to submit a **** insurance claim since the package was insured for $100. At the time of this writing, that seems to be the only option available to recuperate any of the initial cost. If you are reading this BEFORE you have purchased something from ADATA, I urge you to look at a better manufacturer. It might cost slightly more, but at least you won't throw money straight into the garbage.
