I paid a lot of money for a new airstream rangeline. When it arrived to Colorado the generator was not operational. I told them my issue and they said take it to airstream and get it fixed under warranty. I live far away from the nearest dealer, so they suggested take it to a nearby Cummins generator to have it looked at. I paid out of pocket for the technician to evaluate it. They found the batteries were not working nor the screen in the vehicle. So now I have to drive it to a dealer 5 hrs away. I asked them why wasn’t the generator checked before they sent it out to me. No comment was made. I told them I have to pay to have it looked at. They did not offer to cover that cost even though it was clear they sold the vehicle without doing a quality inspection of the van. It was their error for selling me a van that won’t work. I feel any company should make sure everything is working before selling a new vehicle which they filed to do. I am upset that I have to spend more money in addition to the exorbitant amount I have already paid the company.

I have had the worst experience ever! Paid $12k for a Lithium Battery, Solar and Inverter/Charger upgrade that has never worked properly. The worst of it is that the service department still has my coach and has given me the run around for the past two months. Originally purchased a 2018 4x4 Airstream Tommy Bahama Lounge from the same dealership, you would have thought they would treat me better as a long term customer. My business also purchased a rig from them.. that's almost $400k in sales! The service manager Robin who I'm now told no longer works there was rude and would tell me to call the mechanic directly so she wouldn't have to deal with me. Since then I have asked for a manager or the new service manager to call me. To date no one has reached out. I have left messages and received no call backs. The mechanic is the only one that on occasion takes my calls and he seems very overwhelmed. I made the original appointment in December of 2021. My appointment was on Feb 19th and the work was completed by March 11th. Again the battery system upgrade has never operated correctly since then. I repeatedly requested them to fix it and it wasn't until May 16th that they excepted that there was a problem and took it in. Today is July 16th and I still do not have the coach back. I have zero confidence that anyone at the dealership even cares. Santa Barbara Airstream has had our coach for almost 90 days (stored outside) and we have not been able to use it for the past FIVE months! I hope this review gets a follow up response. If this is not resolved in the next couple weeks I am considering filing a civil complaint.
