Horrible service. Took them over a week to complete a simple service inspection report. The diagnosis didn't bother providing repair options and went straight to the costliest option of replacing the entire system.Relaxed Heating and Air, Inc.

Relaxed Heating and air sent a technician who accurately diagnosed the problem with the **** system. The report was researched and prepared to the requirements from the homeowner's home warranty company.Review fromSusan M

Relaxed Air and Heating Free Heating tune up is a Scam. Don't do the American Home Shield (AHS) "free" heating tune up. My system was working fine but thought why not, get a free tune up. Relaxed air did nothing for the supposed tune up. I should have known better when Relaxed Air was unable to answer out of pocket costs, said I must 1st submit $125 service request fee before they could tell me out of pocket costs, scam alert. After service request fee was paid, Relaxed Air said I needed near $1000 work. AHS could not cancel the work request and refund the service fee, so I am out $125. Relaxed air said they could NOT do the covered work only. Scam.Relaxed Heating and Air, Inc.

Hello. It appears the customer's complaint is mostly towards his policy with his home warranty, AHS. Relaxed Heating and Air was dispatched by AHS on a heating system check. The system was checked per AHS guidelines. Relaxed Heating and Air found an issue with the heating and advised to the customer that per his policy with AHS he can contact them to open a work order if he decides. Relaxed Heating and Air has nothing to do with a deductible AHS requires to open a claim. Relaxed Heating and Air operated within the guidelines set up by the customer's warranty company.Review fromErica K

Relaxed heating and air is in collusion with American home shield. They are claiming theres water damage in my 40 year old furnace which is the cause of a cracked fire box and that this imaginary water damage is the cause of the damage and not normal wear and tear of my 40 year old furnace. Do not trust them or AHS. The representative from the gas company said that this damage is 100% normal wear and tear and was impressed that we kept our furnace running this long. This company is getting kick backs from AHS. Do not trust them or AHS. Crooks!!!Relaxed Heating and Air, Inc.

Relaxed Heating and Air was sent out through the customer's home warranty. The home warranty's guidelines were followed as the report was turned in along with pictures. In this case it appears the single wall flue pipe created condensation that damaged the furnace over time. The customer's home warranty company has reviewed the diagnosis and confirmed they do not cover this problem.Review fromCshena P

I just had my heating unit serviced or rather just looked at which not sure why I paid $69, for something that I couldve done myself. The service was to include items like checking the ventilation, motor, operational use. So how can you check any of that when you dont even turn the machine on?! How do you know the heater even works if its not turned on?! I called the main office to ask what I just paid for and they immediately called the tech and of course the tech said he did everything he was supposed to do to include taking pictures when I stood right with the tech the entire time and not one photo was taken. I dont need to lie over $69 whatsoever.I got the impression that the tech didnt really feel like working today (Sat). If the technician didnt want to work on a Saturday then why accept the appointment? Bottom line is Im just disappointed with the entire experience and that the business didnt take my complaint as seriously as Id like. So I wont be doing business with them again.Relaxed Heating and Air, Inc.

Relaxed Heating and Air has confirmed with the technician that went out on 10/21/23. He did at that time go into the attic, tested blower, thermostat, filter, tested operation and found no technical failure with the system. He did a full mechanical diagnosis and check and found the equipment working at the time of service.Review fromGerardo R

Not professional nor do they report the correct stuff. My condenser was wrote down as not having a base yet I had to provide pics to the insurance that it. The home inspector would have never passed it. They also stated that my furnace didnt have flu pipe yet again does. Than the story was change to were my **** unit needs to instead of one. I asked for a copy of the report that was summited to the insurance and was promised I would get one yet again they fail.Relaxed Heating and Air, Inc.

Relaxed Heating and Air said the condenser unit does not have a condenser pad. There are pictures to show that. The condenser is sitting on a concrete base but no condenser pad. The flue pipe was reported not having a double wall B vent flue pipe, not that the entire flue was missing. Relaxed Heating and Air provided an accurate detailed diagnosis as required by the customer's home warranty.Review fromElizabeth D

Relaxed Heating and Air does not service the type of system the customer has. We saw it on the roof. The customer requested to have the tech service a property that was not listed on the dispatch from their home warranty which is not allowed. The report was submitted to the customer's home warranty company that ********************** does not work on the type of system they have. The home warranty decided that due to the recent start date of their contract, they would not cover the problem.Review fromJoe C.

What a unprofessional technician! Unfriendly an uncommunicative. My home warranty company assigned his "company" to replace my thermostat. He did replace the thermostat, but when I asked him to set the temps, he said his policy was to not do that. He had sat the old unit, with the dusty drywall screws on a sofa near near the job site, which I removed and placed a towel underneath. He made no attempt to remove drywall dust from the hardwood flooring. I asked if there was any paperwork for me. He said it was available online. I told him to leave if he was done. He left the box the thermostat came in, along with operation manual, where I found that the unit came with 2 AA batteries. Inspecting the unit, I found that there were no batteries in the unit! I will contact my warranty company to complain and suggest that they review the service providers BBB reviews. Relax Heating And Air will never set foot in my home again! ***** thieves.Relaxed Heating and Air, Inc.

Relaxed Heating and Air showed up to the scheduled appointment on time, fully diagnosed the problem with the system and correctly completed the repair. The tech replaced the customer's thermostat, tested the system and found it working properly before leaving. Not all thermostats require batteries as in the case of this customer's system. The report was sent to the customer via email. We also followed up with a quality call to the customer to hear out his complaints.Review fromAndrew L

The company and technicians are very unprofessional I had a HVAC compressor unit replacement with them and have had multiple visits afterwards with very poor communication. First, during our initial installation, we were quoted and forced to pay an additional fee for a crane lift to have our compressor lifted to the roof of our multiunit complex. No crane was used, and the technician stated that his fellow technician was "the crane" for lifting the compressor unit up 1 flight of stairs to the roof.Second, while it's possible the technicians *** be adept at HVAC units, they have extremely poor communication as to what work they are performing and why, even after multiple attempts to ask. After our installation and subsequent 2nd party permitting checks, they were forced to return after a failed inspection of refrigerant levels. They returned to assess the the failed inspection, but didn't even know what to assess when they arrived. They acted as if I had inconvenienced them to have to call their dispatch to confirm the failed refrigerant levels and therefore proceeded to the compressor on our roof. However, after leaving them to inspect the compressor, they informed me they would let me know when work was completed. I only later found that they had left without any communication as to work being completed or incomplete that *** require another visit. I only discovered after waiting over an hour and looking to see their van had left the premises and calling the main number that indeed they had left. I was told no further visit would be necessary.A few days later, I received another call from them, stating that actually, they would need another visit before final inspections could be done. This visit was scheduled in a 9-2pm time frame. They missed this timeframe without any communication updates. I had to call their call center to get further updates, would make it in afternoon. No showed after 6pm, No contact. Not answering their call center.Relaxed Heating and Air, Inc.

The customer's complaints were reviewed. The installation was completed properly and is tested functioning correctly. The only thing left is to do a slight adjustment on the refrigerant pressures to obtain the Title 24 testing certificates. These pressures can fluctuate depending on outdoor temperature. We have an appointment scheduled currently to go do the adjustments on a day the customer selected.Review fromAlex W

I would give 0 stars if I can. After numerous reschedules and conflicts, we finally had a slot booked for regular HVAC maintenance. ****, the technician, came out and at the door, we politely asked him to wear a mask, as there are rising cases of COVID, flu, and RSV. ****, while polite, declined, saying it wasn't mandatory. We even offered him a mask, but he refused, and said we could call Relaxed Heating and Air to get another technician out. We left a message with the front desk while **** was still there, and a few hours after he left, ******, the office manager called back. Right away, his tone was dismissive and confrontational, saying that wearing mask was not related to the job at all, and seemed to imply we were being irrational and unreasonable not letting them into our without a mask. While **** was at least fairly polite in his refusal, ******** tone and attitude were among the worst I've ever heard in my life from a customer service standpoint, and he ended up almost getting into a "last word" shouting match with my mom on the phone, saying he would report her for even standing her ground on this. We have no issue with people and whether or not they wear masks in public. Inside our home however, wearing a mask is our preference. ****** could have remedied the situation easily by offering to find another technician that was willing to wear a mask in our home, but unfortunately, he chose to escalate and double down without caring to understand our point of view. A huge disappointment.Relaxed Heating and Air, Inc.

Our records show the appointment was rescheduled per the customer. However, we follow the local mask mandates which state masks are not required at this time. Our tech did not feel comfortable taking a random mask from the customer. We did our best to provide proper service to the equipment in the house, but the customer made it clear her decision was to decline service.
