Subject: Response to Complaint
We understand the frustration regarding the towing of his vehicle and appreciate the opportunity to clarify the situation. However, we want to ensure that the information being shared publicly is accurate.
To clarify, Reliant Parking is not the towing company and does not enforce parking rules or make towing decisions. Our role is to provide a parking management system that properties use to track and manage their parking policies, which are set and enforced by the property management, not by us.
Additionally, our system does not modify or delete conversations or records. We maintain a history of permit registrations and communications, and we are happy to review and provide any available records regarding the permit upon request.
We have also noticed that he has been sharing this complaint across multiple platforms, including our social media and blogs. While we respect his right to share his concerns, we kindly ask that the information presented be factual. Spreading inaccurate claims does not help resolve the issue. If he has any specific concerns that we can address within our role, we are happy to assist. However, for any disputes regarding towing, we encourage him to reach out directly to your property management or enforcement company.

Every time when adding a permit, the app requests extra information such as the color of the car, the year of the car, the model of the car, etc., and after finishing everything, it requests us to print the permit out(I wonder what's the point of this app), wasting me lots of time, also after you input all the information and click order, the little wheel can spinning forever, some times it failed without any notification, that's when the car get towed. I added the permit the day before I parked and the process took a super long time, at last it didn't go through without any notification about it failed, so my car is being towed. After I called them for solution, they insist that their app doesn't have any problems, it is me who should call them immediately once I found out the problem, but that's a paradox, if I found out the problem then all of this wouldn't happen, after I wasted bunch of time on this appwhich suppose to make everything easier(that's the point of creating the app)it didn't help me at all but caused me spend more money on getting back my car. The manager didn't offer me any solution but just insisting that they have no problems, and kicking the ball to the toll company and the parking squad, but they seems to forget they are the first and only step that the customers need to go through and because of their app's failure resulting on residents' cars being towed.I've upload the screenshot of order the permit, but after I clicked the order button it just keep loading forever and eventually didn't go through the process successfully without any notification.I've also uploaded another app store reviews from the others which have the same problems of mine complaining about how slow the app is. I totally understand that sometimes this kind of problems happened, but I cannot accept while calling them for a solution, they said they have nothing to do with it and it's my fault for not calling them. I am so sorry this happened to you. There are several reasons that the app could have been working slowly. It could have been your device, or the coverage area you were in. Either way we understand how frustrating the experience for you has been. We provide 24/7 customer service via phone, chat and email. After you experienced the issue, it would have been best to have notified us so we would be able to assist in getting your permit. Unfortunately, rather than calling us, you chose to park on the property without a valid permit. Again, I realize how frustrating this is, but there isnt anything we can do about it given the rules require a valid permit and there was no attempt to contact us for assistance prior to the vehicle being towed.Initial Complaint

I am writing to file a formal complaint against Reliant Parking and Western Towing regarding an incident that occurred on [sept 9,2023] involving my vehicles at ************************ my parking permit for my vehicles at Pacific Ridge had expired due to a website glitch preventing me from renewing it online. To address this issue, I contacted the guards at the front of the complex who assured me that it was acceptable to place a note on my dashboard temporarily. I have attached evidence of this communication and the glitch affecting the website.To my surprise, not even a day later, both of my vehicles were towed by Western Towing. There was no prior communication or warning regarding this action. I was left with no choice but to pay $400 for each vehicle, totaling $800, to have my cars released from impound. Additionally, I incurred expenses for an Uber ride to retrieve my vehicles.I believe that the actions taken by Reliant Parking and Western Towing were unfair and unjust, given the circumstances and the assurances I received from the security personnel at the complex. I kindly request the following:1. Reimbursement of the $800 in towing fees I was charged.2. Reimbursement for the cost of the Uber ride I took to retrieve my vehicles.I hope this complaint can help address these issues and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. Thanks for your quick response to my emails. Unfortunately, Reliant Parking cannot take responsibility for your vehicles being towed. I realize you stated you were having issues renewing your permits, but your permits expired on August 31 and your vehicles were towed on September 09th. We have no records of software issues around that time. You also mentioned that you never reached out to our 24/7 customer service which is available via phone, chat and email. Had you reached out, we certainly would have assisted you in getting your permits renewed.
You mentioned that you spoke to the onsite security and they told you your vehicles would be ok and yet they towed you the next day. Given this, I would recommend taking up your concern with them security company.
I am really sorry this happened to you, but I don't believe there Is any responsibility on Reliant Parking.
