Each patient is assigned an office rep. ***** the complimentary screening, me and that person went over pricing and it was explained to me on my first appointment that my insurance did not cover dental implants or bone graphing services. For the additional services a loan was approved. 6 teeth needed extraction which was covered by insurance. One tooth was so painful many needles did nothing. Anesthesia was going to be an additional cost of **** + dollars. I told them I was not going to pay for this. Called insurance company and they said this service was included in my plan.On my visit last Friday, they gave me anesthesia and successfully pulled the remaining teeth, including the very painful one. Bone graphed them and stitched the gums.Today, Feb 15, office rep tells me I owe ****+ dollars for the anesthesia. Shocked because before knowing that this was cover, we had a discussion about the additional cost and I said no..." Before I would pay this, I will get me ***********************************************I was told that they have already been paid and that I can take the matter up with the loan companty. She also told me the stitches would have to be removed because they did not dissolve like the other 2.Then she tells me that all of my procedures were out of pocket because Washington Dental was not in my network. I was mislead by this person who is representing them.****** speak directly to the Dentist, so they are unaware of the dubious practices on the customer service side of their business and why the office mostly empty.
